Using Everything

When we do spiritual warfare, we sometimes focus on a specific aspect. If we do, we may limit our ability to be effective. If we were in a battle physically for our home and family members, trying to keep them alive, I do not believe we would limit ourselves. Likely we would give it all we have. We would go the distance, doing anything and everything to win. It would be good to have that same attitude in spiritual warfare. It really comes down to choosing.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

The prophet then proceeded to attack the prophets of Baal head on and destroyed all the work of their hands. There was another leader that made an open choice.

Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;
17 For the Lord our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
18 And the Lord drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the Lord; for he is our God.

If we give our all, it is enough.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away any and all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal our hearts and minds and separate us completely from the evil in the past, as of today. Restore our health and our vision that we might see and hear clearly. Restore all the good material things that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Rise up, my King, and show Yourself strong on our behalf that all men might know that You alone have done this, that You alone are God. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things or You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Building Time

When we walk through life with our Father, we are in a time of building. We are all trying to become the people we are meant to become. This is one of the messages to us in scripture.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

The truth is, we will become something over time. We want to become what pleases our Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us this day Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of all the evil done to us or by us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold, and the more besides, all that has been taken or held back from Your people of that which is good. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Yom She-ni, Alul 5, 6002 – August 28, 2017

Making A Point

Our Father gives us the opportunity and the ability to move forward in life. By that I mean we can make a way to get to the end in a victorious way. Along the way there can be events that we just do not understand. What does this mean for us when those events occur? This is a difficult question to address because we want life to go well. When it does not, or at least we think it does not, we have a difficult time understanding why.

Malachi 3:14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?
15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

From scripture it appears that there will come a time when the evil is driven out and our Father will remember those that feared Him and thought about His name. Until then we will need to just serve Him and daily seek His truth that we may know it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise and bless the name YAH! Father, let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us and by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We need You desperately now, Father. We need You more than ever. Help us to understand what You have in store for us. Help us to walk in Your ways. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! Amen.

The Best We Can

As humans, it is very likely that we will not be able to keep up with our own expectations of doing the right thing all the time. We will most likely make mistakes. But if we cannot keep up, that does not release us from trying. Some of the greatest accomplishments of mankind have occurred when individuals and groups have done their best to do something, even to the point of being extreme. But no matter what, if we do our best, our Father will make up the difference. There is comfort in knowing He is there and has our back.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away any thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let their be only thoughts and memories of You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Sha-bat, Alul 3, 6002 – August 26, 2017

Cycling Through Life

Every week we keep the Sabbath as a reminder of our Father and His work.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

And again, not only did our Father rest, He wants us to rest.

Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Let us rest with Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and helps all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside out. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people in relationship and in wealth. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Yom Shi-shi, Alul 2, 6002 – August 25, 2017

Making Our Way

We are all on the road to making our way. The question becomes how to do that in this world that we live in today, since it is so challenging. The scriptures seem to hold a key.

Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Somehow, if we hear the right thing to do, we can do it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Heal us and deliver us from the evil here. Restore all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from your people one hundredfold, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask them of Your Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Psalms 100

A Psalm of praise.
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil here. Yom Re-vi-i, Av 30, 6002 – August 23, 2017

Fighting In Uncertainty

We are most fortunate that our Father has placed before us certain challenges. Included is the ability to just make it through life. Also included is the need to battle the enemy. The trick is it is not always blatant as we may think of battle being. It can be as subtle as how we think of things. There is a way to help control that, which both Moses and Paul addressed.

Deuteronomy 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

We need to work at controlling our lips. And then pray for mercy and forgiveness when we fall short.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us this day Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts or memories of only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Heal us from the inside. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things in Your name, Father. We ask these things in the name of YAH. Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Av 29, 6002 – August 22, 2017

How We Build

We are all subject to certain absolutes, or so we believe. The more we dig into what we think we know, the more that is revealed that perhaps we do not know. It leads to an interesting question. If we are uncertain of what we are building with then how can we know what the building will be when we are complete? All very interesting questions for sure. There seems to be a needed balance between praying for direction and actually doing something with our building process. One thing that is always helpful is prayer and scripture.

Psalms 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

It is good to read scriptures and think on what they mean.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore the good Father. Show us a sign for good. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Yom She-ni, Av 28, 6002 – August 21, 2017

Buck Up

It is easy for many of us to let the days role by. But are we really meant to do that? Perhaps we are meant to uncover what is really going on in our lives. By that I mean what our Father is doing that we might walk in agreement to it. We must be strong.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

If we will speak as our Father speaks, then we need not be dismayed or discouraged.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us to forgive all those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace these with thoughts and memories of only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.
