Just Keep Trying

We have an unusual life to live as believers. Many people practice and practice until they get really good at something. Then they get a limited number of chances to perform their talent. As believers we live out our calling everyday. We learn from our Father as we go. While we are learning, our Father protects us. And we are the winners from the beginning.

Deuteronomy 28:12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Today, let us all just keep trying, and asking our Father to show us the way.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away every thought or memory of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

We Serve A God That Cares

I thought about how much our Father cares for us this morning. It is a bit overwhelming when we think about it. He knows everything about us.

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

It is very comforting to me to know that our Father cares for everything living. He knows the number of hairs on our head. We can know He cares.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside out. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. WE ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in Your name, Father, in the name of YAH! Amen.

Sha-bat, Tishri 16, 6002 – October 7, 2017

Needed Rest

Interestingly enough, our bodies are not made to have never ending work. If we work beyond six days in a row, we become very tired. Our Father rested on the Sabbath.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

We were made in His image, so it is only natural that our bodies would desire rest at least one day each week.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all of the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Heal us from the inside. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from them, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Breadcrumbs To The Birthday Party

For many believers, this is just another day. But for some of us, this is a very important day. It is the first day of Sukkot. It is the day that our Messiah was born, Yeshuah (Jesus). For greater detail, you may want to click here.

In scriptures words are there for a reason. There is a trail of breadcrumbs that leads to a conclusion that Yeshuah (Jesus), of Jewish descent, would have been born on a date relative to the Jewish calendar. Likely, it would be foretold in scripture, possibly as a sign to the people of Israel, and to all who believe. Words are not wasted. Here is one place.

Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

And here is another interesting scripture about when Mary conceived.

Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

If we are willing to seek our Father and lay down our preconceived notions, we can find a way to know the truth.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Heal us up on the inside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH!

Waiting Thankfully

This morning I am thinking about the journey to Jerusalem just over 2000 years ago made by a recently married couple. She was very pregnant and they were traveling a ways by donkey or camel, most likely. At the end of the day today was a High Holy Day and they needed to be in Jerusalem. They new the secret that others did not. It was no ordinary child. Imagine the emotions of the mother and father as they traveled. They had to wonder what’s next. And they were likely filled with awe and thankfulness towards the Father for what He was doing.

Psalms 117:1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

What It Takes

In the realm of spiritual warfare, there are both many questions and many opinions about what it is, and what it takes to participate. Here is one opinion that I reached in trying to answer my questions, and maybe it will help you. If we can just keep breathing and calling out to our Father knowing that He hears us (not wishing that He hears us), then we are fighting quite hard. It is our job to have dominion over the earth.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Today, let’s keep breathing and believing. Because we love Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your great name, YAH! Amen.

The Leaning Tower

Growing up I can remember conversation from early grade school about the “Leaning Tower of Pizza” – obvious misspelling. What we learned is that it really wasn’t leaning, it was built that way. And that is important to us as believers because where we start impacts where we finish. The good news – in a way – is that we can get help fixing the foundation from our Father.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Let’s start each day off with a good foundation.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help all those that trespass or transgress against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Another Day

SO horrible news comes to us here in the US overnight. A crazy person killed many and wounded many more at a music concert. As of yet, there appear to be no answers. It is a sad day indeed when such an event happens. All we can do is pray that those that survived be healed, and that we can discover how to prevent such things in the future. That said, Today I post a scripture for us all.

Psalms 23:A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only you. Heal us up from the inside. Heal the broken-hearted that are victims of tragedy. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. Rise up and heal today, and restore today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Yom Kippur, Tishri 10, 6002 – October 1, 2017

Atonement

When we are willing, our Father will hear our prayers. He sent His Son to take away the sin of the world. On this day we afflict our souls and cry out to the father for ourselves, those around us, our nation, and the world.

Leviticus 23:26 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King.Let Your your will be done here as it is in heaven, Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal our nation, and the world. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. We ask all these things in the naem of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Sha-bat, Tishri 9, 6002 – September 30, 2017

Days Of Elijah

As I was praying and seeking peace with our Father, I heard Him say to me, “These are the days of Elijah.” Looking up the name, it means “My God is YAH”. Recently I have watched as the Father has done many miracles in the name of YAH. Here is an interesting scripture to ponder.

John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

The Sabbath is always a good day to meditate on what is written, and to rest with the Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are KING! Praise and bless the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Lift up Your people, and bless them as Moses declared, covering their shortcomings with the blood of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.
