Sometimes We Build Beautifully

This day is dedicated to building. As I think of today, I remember how 33 years ago this afternoon, a miracle came into my life. My son, Joshua, was born at home. He had his umbilical cord wrapped three times around his neck. His mouth was open and trying to make noise, but no sound came out. Once we cut the cord I walked around the house, holding him in a blanket and singing to our Father. Suddenly, he began to cry, and his skin went from an ashen grey to pink, slowly. The youngest of three at the time, he and his birth have always been a great source of blessing and encouragement to me that with God, we can build great things.

Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Happy Birthday, Josh! Love you, man!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside. Thank you for the blessing of children. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom. WE ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. WE ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Living Is Winning

Sometimes we are winners because of some big event that we come in first place as a participant. When that happens we feel elated. But in those scenarios, there is only one person that comes in first, and only one winner of that type. Yet, there is another winner in the journey of life. That is the one that refuses to give up. If we will just live life and love others, we dispel evil and fulfill the Law.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

We know this is important, because it is what our Messaih said that He Himself came to do.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Read in context, we see that the sermon on the mount was detail about how to love another. We see then that, just by living, we win. Darkness is defeated, and the light shines from the hill.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come to the hearts of man. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us, and replace them with only thoughts of You and Your love toward us. Let us be healed completely from the inside. Help us to love each other, and even those that do not love us. Deliver unto Your people restoration one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might promote Your kingdom here. Move mightily while it is called today, Father. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah 9Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. WE assk all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Healing Power

When we think of healing power, it is easy to think about curing cancer, our sicknesses, etc. However, I have seen even deeper, stronger wounds that cut to the spirit of a person. These wounds often happen when we are children. They are challenging for us to deal with as adults because we have torn at the scabs for many years, and built up the scar tissues. But these, too, can be healed. Sometimes it happens in a moment. Sometimes through much prayer. Here is a link to a podcast that details some of what I am talking about. Click Here.

Matthew 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Sometimes, we just have to let the little kid in us come out.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here, as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Our Actions Matter

It is true that those around us are impacted by the actions we take. Recently a friend of mine was trying to be more a part of the”Men’s Group” at his place of fellowship. The group planned a meeting where they would see a movie and then have a manly meal of “eating steak” where they could discuss the movie. The movie is not a faith based movie, but it shows heroes in true life. My friend, being a man in his 60’s and a person that is only eating vegetables at this time, thought he would go to be a part of the group, and he could just eat salad. Then a meeting was held the weekend before the event where it was discovered that someone could not make it on the 1st day (Sunday) afternoon. The alternative discussed was at the end of the Sabbath. The tentative location decided upon was two hours one way from my friends house, with a tentative start time for the movie at 7PM. This means their meal would be fairly late and end even later, followed by a two hour drive home even later for my friend. Later in the week when he brought it up to one of the leaders of the group that this was really late for him to be driving home, he was told that this was the preferred time and date.

My question is this to you my readers, as I have pondered this myself – How should my friend feel about this situation?

The question is put forth as a talking point, a matter for both philosophical and ecumenical discussion. It is not a judgment. Like my friend, I too have used this event to think about how the things I say and do impact those around me. Our actions matter. David wrote a song to our Father that they sung as a group on the way to worship in Jerusalem three times a year.

Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Today on this Sabbath, I pray for my friend, and those that attend the movie, that YAH ministers to them all.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts of men. Let Your will be done here as automatically it is in heaven – the sun rises and sets, the moon rules the dark, and the heavens declare Your glory. Send us today Your provision such that it miraculously can overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the memories and the thoughts of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You, Father, and the love You show toward us all. We are but human, Father, and we need to have Your ways in our hearts and minds that we might act as You act and say what You say. Let us be more like You, more than just human, but ambassadors for love and mercy and truth. Let us heal and not wound, provide and not take away, build up and not tear down, that all men might know YAH is still King! Send in quickly the $424.523.962.53 that we might promote your kingdom here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

A Father’s Love

A friend of mine told me of something that was happening to him recently. He became quite ill and had some swollen glands. Almost immediately he began to wonder if he was dying of cancer. He received prayer from a prophet who revealed his fears to him without being told of them. The interesting part was the immediate thoughts of the cancer. As I pondered his situation, it seemed obvious that the thoughts my friend was getting about this and other things negative are an attack on his peace. We are to combat any attack of our enemy against us. This would be no exception. The more he gets in our head, the more we are distracted from the work we have been given. We must not allow ourselves to be distracted. We must first possess the land of our minds. Apparently this pondering of thoughts is built in and we are to use it for good.

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

We are to use this tool of power, this thought-speech machine, for the good.

Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Our Father gave us a mighty weapon – the power to create. We are in His image, so that really only makes sense. We have the ability to create good or evil. If we chose the good, we chose life. He loves us enough to give us this weapon, and to let us chose.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here, as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here.Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts or memories of You. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom, Father, in the hearts of mankind. Restore unto Your people one thousand times all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your mighty name YAH. We ask all these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

For Our Father

It is a challenge in these days and times to remember that we are on a mission given to us by a higher authority, or at least it can be difficult to remember. We are prone to letting our surroundings dictate our responses to life. There is another way, I believe. I have caught a glimpse of it at times. In this other way there are certain methods of operation that the whole world complies with without reservation. Moses first described it.

Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Paul quoted Moses.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

And this is the very same message that our Messiah shared with Peter.

Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

We need forgiveness. Without it, the Law condemns us to receive many curses. Yeshuah (Jesus) gave us some wonderful insights here. We have to forgive others if we want forgiveness. It is one of the main messages of the Law. If we love one another (yes, that includes forgiving) then we fulfill the Law. If we fulfill the Law, then we receive the blessings of the Law that Moses spoke about. We are meant to be different from those around us. And we can give thanks to our Father for making it possible to be like Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your abundant provision that it might overflow from us to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back of that which is good. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Slaying The Dragon

We are meant to be servant warriors to the One and Only True King. As such we will face the unknown. It is okay. For what we do know sustains us, and that is our Messiah Yeshuah died, and then rose again demonstrating the defeat of the enemy. It is His resurrection that we must remember, and His shed blood. These things were pure and undefiled, and we have access to them and to our Father through them. Not that there was no access before, but rather, being human, we had our sin with us. Now we can turn from our sin and have our Father receive us openly, the same as He receives Yeshuah. This is a hard thing to comprehend, because we know exactly what we are like. And yet, our Father does help us. He does lead us. He does care for us. He does deliver us. And we can count on Him. He never leaves us or forsakes us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

We know that we can slay the dragons in our lives because our Father is on our side.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your loving kindness. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Bring in quickly the $424,523,962.53. Restore now Father, while it is called today. Remove tumors and swellings, remove fevers and sicknesses, make the lame to walk and the blind to see. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all theset hings of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Fellow Builders

When we are weak, we sometimes have to rely on our fellow builders to save the day. This is dedicated to everyone that reached out to someone ill in the last year to help make them have a better day.

1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

May those that serve be blessed above measure.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision, that we might share with those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and your mighty acts of love toward us. DEliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom. Heal us Father, as only You can do. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Yom She-ni, Shevat 18, 6002 – February 5, 2018

We Are Together

Whether we try consciously or not, we actually all stand together. When we look around and see the division in the world, the nation, and even in our communities, it can be hard to imagine that we are together. But whether we agree or not, we are together in one category. We all have the same supernatural enemy out to kill us and steal from us.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

If we can stop looking at each other long enough, we will see the enemy standing there ready to kill us. But the good news is that our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) has overcome the world, and abundantly provides for us. He used the full preaching of the Law to dispel evil from people’s lives and heal them. It seems He used his death and resurrection to give us eternal access for those times (which for most of us happen daily) when we fall short.

We stand together!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts of men. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might give into the lives of others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. New Snow Experience

Looking out into the forest this morning I am seeing the land and trees covered with new snow. Sitting inside where it is warm, I feel a sense of comfort from the fluffy white powder that covers everything. Later when I have to get our in it I may not like it as much, but for now, it is nice. There is something about the fresh new snow and the surreal oneness it creates. I was thinking how we can have a similar experience with our Father. Every morning and throughout the day we can experience anew the freshness of the experience of knowing that everything is taken care of for us.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

David knew that if he called upon YAH, He would hear him and deliver him. Always. And our Messiah even went so far as to help us to know not to pray like those that repeat the same prayers over and over many times, because God knows what we need.

Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

With that comfort in mind, we can daily take on the challenges of making life better by taking on the willingness to make our requests know to our Father.

And all that from a new snow!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here, as it is in heaven – it just is. Send us now the finances and material goods to make it through our lives. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts or memories of You and Your love toward us. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom now. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We assk all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
