Help Is Here

There is a famous song lyric and saying, “help is on the way.” I can only remember that part of the song, however, it has stayed with me since my youth. What if help is already here? This lyric running around in my head would tend to make me think it is not here yet. I would live inside of that belief. Good news! We can change these beliefs if we try hard. More importantly, the truth is, help is already here! YAH is our Helper!

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:
God shall help her, and that right early.

Ever Learning

The Sabbath is such a joyful time for learning and doing the things of YAH. We never stop learning. This life is a journey for learning of YAH and His ways. We learn these things by digging into the scriptures and by praying. Our Father is willing to answer us if we are willing to ask.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Turn To Return

It seems that life is not about becoming perfect like it is a destination. It is about always looking to the Light to reset the course. It is about constantly turning to the Light of YAH. This has always been true for mankind.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Heart Lifted To Heaven

Some days more than others I get a sense of who I am in relation to who YAH is. I feel the lifting of my heart towards the King. There is a profound thankfulness and a desire to be a better person at the same time. May we all get to that place where we are as close to His image as possible.

Psalm 89:1 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever:
With my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever:
Thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
3 I have made a covenant with my chosen,
I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 Thy seed will I establish for ever,
And build up thy throne to all generations.

5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD:
Thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Making Life Count

We are offered as believers a path to having life work out. It is clear that YAH has a plan for us an our life. But we must walk it out.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We Are A Team

How do we go forward? We go forward together as a team. We go forward in support of each other. We make a difference because we can be that difference. We can be that difference for each other. Let’s be that difference.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress:
My God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
And from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:
His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

I Will Walk With You

It is possible to be alone. It is better to go with others on a journey. Let’s journey together into YAH’s kingdom and for His righteousness.

Psalm 89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound:
They shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day:
And in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
17 For thou art the glory of their strength:
And in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 For the LORD is our defence;
And the Holy One of Israel is our King.

Feel The Joy

We are recipients of joy, if we will grab hold of it. Should we serve YAH according to our feelings? No, but we are encouraged to call to Him for deliverance and to enjoy His response. We are meant to be a feeling people. It is a good thing for us to feel, and to also use our thoughts.

Psalm 86:1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me:
For I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy:
O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord:
For I cry unto thee daily.
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant:
For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
And plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer;
And attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee:
For thou wilt answer me.

Time To Take The Time

In the times we are in, we can become concerned about what is all around us. This is not to say that we should be unaware of our surroundings. However, we are not a people that are given to fear, but to faith. In these times, we need time with our Father, for He alone can deliver us.

Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak:
For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him;
That glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth;
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good;
And our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him;
And shall set us in the way of his steps.

Look To This Moment

Psalm 84:1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD:
My heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,
Even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house:
They will be still praising thee.
