Doing Good

Every day we have opportunity to overcome the evil in this world. We can do that by seeking the will of our Father and following in our Messiah’s footsteps. Our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) regularly stated that he was here doing what He saw the Father doing and saying what the Father told Him to say. That can be a challenge for us here as we move forward because sometimes we may think we know what is the best to say or do on our own. In the end, we just need our Father to help us to know what is the best thing to say or do. Only then can we have knowledge of what is right. I always recall in these times a few scriptures that seem good to me.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

God never fails us. It can be a challenge to hear Him because we may not know how to get out of the way of what we are hearing. But we can hear him if we try, and we can be heard of Him.

Another scripture that really interests me in these times comes from Ephesians.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Today, let us seek our Father for wisdom. Let us go forward and obtain help and favor from Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done in this earth as it is done perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In there place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. We need You now. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Rise up my King, and bring deliverance while it is called today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Prayer For The Saints

We are clearly encouraged to pray for ourselves and others. This message is repeated throughout the scriptures. We see it in the description by Paul for the armor of God. Prayer in the Spirit, which is prayer in a language unknown to us, is the sword that helps us and others.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in the body of the Messiah that need help from our Father. And we need to pray for ourselves. This is how we move forward with Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Deliver us from the evil here. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been eaten, taken away, or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of the people here. Rise up, my King, and deliver yet today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We assk all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Moving On

Today is a travel day for me. I want to leave us all with a scripture to consider.

Psalms 100 A Psalm of praise.
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Thank You Father, for all You are.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might us it to promote Your kingdom. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Getting Better

As believers we may wonder how we can become like our Father, really. It does not appear to be something that just happens. It takes effort on our part. We see this in scriptures.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

How is it then that we renew our mind? The Greek word used here is only used twice in the bible. It means a restoration or complete change for the better. If we think about it, everything that we are or do begins as a thought first. So, perhaps renewing the mind means to begin to diligently try to think like our Messiah thinks. Think like God. Paul gives us a list at one point.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

If we will use this as a checklist against our thoughts, that will help tremendously. In those moments when our thoughts seem overwhelmed, we can use our voices, stating good things out loud, reading scriptures out loud, praying out loud, singing, praise, etc. When we say it we hear it. When we hear it we have the chance to do it. Our speaking creates possibility.

Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

If we say it, we can get there to do it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of our praise. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here in this earth as it is in heaven, perfectly and without fail. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In there place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. You alone are King. Praise You, Father, for all You are and all You do. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in this earth in the hearts and minds of mankind. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been eaten, taken, or held back of that which is good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah, our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). WE ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Sivan 24, 6003 – June 9, 2018

Peaceful Rest

Resting on the Sabbath is more than sleeping. It includes letting go. We have six days to work hard and to do that which is good in the sight of God and man with regard to providing for our families. On the seventh day, YAH commands us to stop our regular work and do what is good in His sight – seeking Him, praising Him, and thinking on Him. The Sabbath is one of the moedym – high holy days – set apart by YAH.

Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

So in the keeping of the commandments of our Father, we are to recognize certain days as set apart (holy). The Sabbath is one of those days. This can be a challenge for us because at least in the US, we were taught differently. But like so many other things we have been taught, we were taught the traditions of men, and not the commandments of God. Each of us has to decide whom we will listen to and serve. This has been so since the Garden. We choose. And we live with the result. Joshua was clear for himself and his family.

Joshua 24:13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Today, like every day, we choose whom we will serve. Our choices are made know by our words and our deeds.

Choose.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of YAH. Let Your will be done here on this earth perfectly, as it is in heaven. Send us today Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and in the air. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore unto Your people of all the good that was eaten or taken or held back in any way, one thousandfold and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. We need you wo reveal to us the truth that we might walk with You in it. We love You. Be our God and we will be Your people, doing all You command. We ask all these things of You in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Shishi, Sivan 23, 6003 – June 8, 2018

Trust Him

We are fortunate to have as our Father the one that created the universe. Not only did He create it, He controls it. He is actively involved in the continuance of the myriad of events that make the whole creation work and flow together. If we believe that we can be comforted in knowing that there is a planned end from the beginning.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

We can know the truth, that our Father is on our side, and make thaat truth a part of us and what we believe.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Today then, let us trust our Father to craft a good life for us. He will get us through this life to the end of this thing. He will make everything right.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Let Your kingdom, the kingdom of God, come here into the hearts and minds of mankind. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, of that which is good, from Your people, and the more besides. Restore that which the worm has eaten. Rise up today, my King, and show Yourself strong on our behalf that all men might know that You alone are King. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. We ask all these things in the name Yah Yeshuah. Amen.

Delivering The Mail

First, my hat is off to the generations of mail carriers in the US that have been the upholders of communications for generations. They were the connectors between mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, parents and children, and everyone for generations. It is that same level of commitment that spawned the phrase, “delivering the mail”, I suggest. It is about getting the work done in the face of tough situations and good ones. It is that same perseverance that we need in our lives to set ourselves apart as living sacrifices wholly acceptable to our Father.

We are not only given the charge to complete the mission set before us, we are also given the power.

Deliver the mail.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in this earth in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven perfectly. Send in today Your provision sufficient to overflow from us to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward all Your creation. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or eaten or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in this earth. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. WE assk all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Winning Endurance

A friend of mine has signed up to do an Ironman this year. He is not what most of us would call a physically fit person. But he felt that God wanted him to do it, so He did. When speaking to him, it is his desire to just finish. He does not have aspirations of winning the race. To him, winning is enduring to the end in within the required 17 hours. That is his goal. Finishing.

As believers, that can be our goal as well. Yes, we may suffer distractions and misdirection along the way. But in the end, we want to correct our course and go in the direction of our Father. We have that opportunity because we are called to press on, to finish.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Finish.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here just as it is perfectly in heaven. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Replace more than we can imagine of what has been eaten. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds of mankind. We love You Father. We need You now. Rise up my King, and show Yourself strong. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Shlishi, Sivan 20, 6003 – June 5, 2018

Building Against Resistance

Sometimes when we build up the body of believers, we need to work with people. In fact, that is most of the time.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

There are other times, like those that DAvid faced, where are prayers become different, because the people around us were different. There may come a time when a believer forgets their calling and turns to doing evil against us in our afflictions. If we call out to our Father, He will settle the situation.

Psalms 109:13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

This is our place in life with our Father at times. God works with each of us to turn our hearts to Him. He never fails to move to change our hearts to serving Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come to the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil that tries to pull us away. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us, and replace them with only thoughts and memories of You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been eaten, taken, or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. WE ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Sivan 19, 6003 – June 4, 2018

Sticking To It

As believers we need to remember what we are called to do. Yes, there is a collective calling at various levels, all the way to the entire body of believers. But one that is at least equally important, if not the most important, is the individual calling that each one of us has to do what we do in our individual walks with our Father. We each have the ability to do what we are each individually called to do. I cannot speak for others, but I can and do speak for me. My primary calling is to unite first my heart with my Father’s heart. WE need to be certain that He hears us, and that we are His. Those two things go hand in hand. If we ask according to His will, He hears us. He will do what we ask.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Today, let’s each of us spend time with the Father to do what He has for us. Then let’s try to stack some of those days together.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Let us see Your work, Father. Send us Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Help us all to forgive and forget. Wipe away the memories and the thoughts of the evil done to us or by us. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, or eaten, and the more besides for Your people Father. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it wisely to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of the people here. Your kingdom, Father, Your kingdom here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name that we know You by, the name Yahuah. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
