Sweet As Honey

Today is the beginning of a New Year according to certain calendars. If we are willing to embrace the concept, we can decide to partake in the newness and refreshing that comes with it. Today, that is a goal for me. To partake in the newness, setting aside the old.

Leviticus 23:23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

It is a day of blowing the trumpet, and having our hearts rejoice at the coming of the King.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Today has the opportunity to be a very good day.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Let Your will be done perfectly here as it is in heaven. Send us now the provision we need that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of the You and Your love for us. Restore unto your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Closing Out

Today, depending on what calendar we follow, we are closing out a year. It is good if we can put the past behind us. It is the past that has taught us what we know and the past that can hold us back. Let’s say goodbye to the old and commit ourselves to doing good in the future.

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Let Your will be done perfectly here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil that can beset us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore us Father, unto You perfectly. Amen.

Beginning Is Where?

Humans live based on what they have learned. Interpretations are based on this. They are acts of comparison. If we can look at any given situation and identify the learned (read assumptions) we can try different premises (read assumptions) and see what else is possible. It is how we grow. And it is not easy, usually, because a part of us is resistant to change. But with change comes the fear of and the finding of God.

Psalms 55:17Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Today let us embrace change that we might fear God.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You, Father. Restore unto your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Elul 27, 6003 – September 8, 2018

Let The Rest Come

Today we celebrate the rest that our Father took after He created everything. We need that same rest here in our midst. We need to be happy and well pleased with what we have done. We need to rejoice in it. We need to be at peace. We can only do that by resting in our Father.

Psalms 3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

Our Father allows us to rest. He has our back covered so we can.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Amen.

Something Good

Sometimes it is just good to hear and meditate on a scripture.

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Thank You, Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here in this earth as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here, Father. Restore Your people to You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 25, 6003 – September 6, 2018

Thankful In Deliverance

We have such an opportunity for thankfulness. We have the Creator of all things as our Father, a good and true and merciful Father, who controls all things! He wants us to have a good life.

Dueteronomy 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

How great is that!?

Gratitude is such a blessing to possess. I have noticed that when my perspective is from a position of gratitude, it is easier for me to take what comes in stride, and be prayerfully considerate of our Father and all He has done for us.

Thank You, Father. Thank You.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your Kingdome come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Let Your will be done here as it is so perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your provision, that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people unto You, Father, that we might be like You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom R’vi’i, Elul 24, 6003 – September 5, 2018

Check Out The Feet

As I was thinking this morning about the challenges of our walk in the Lord, it made me think of our lives as stories. It made me think of a question we can each ask ourselves. Is the book about my life a story of struggle that ends in struggle, or a story of many victories that end in victory? How do we know? These are challenging questions for sure. It reminded me of a scripture.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Maybe our book should tell of how we kept the feasts?

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds, and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now the provision which we need. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak, asking them of You Father. Amen.

Making A Change

We serve a living God. As I write that phrase it makes me stop to consider what life really is. We are surrounded by a world that has many things upon which we can focus. Many of these seem to be distractions really. They grab our attention, they cause us to look upon them favorably, and even longingly. We engage with these distractions on many levels. And all the while we are not similarly engaged with our Father and the things of God. This appears to be a misstep. We need to actively choose Him and His ways.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

So we see that we must worship our Father from the essence of who we are, the spirit. He has revealed the truth, and with our spirit we must consciously decide to follow God.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

With our modern thought it is easy to run past the meanings of words here. The word “yield” in the Greek means to show up or be present. “Servants” means to be tied together, interwoven, mixed, etc. And the word “obey” means giving strong attention to or listen intently to. If we look at these definitions, we see that the distractions are really a means of getting us to worship something other than the Father.

Today, let’s spend some time thinking about what we give our attention to on a regular and/or intense basis. This seems to be what is most important in the mind of our Messiah when speaking to the woman at the well.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly, and let it bring the kingdom here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Send us now the provision we seek. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil of this. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Help us to pay attention to only You. Restore Your people to You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,867,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Keep Praying

Scriptures encourage us to keep praying.

Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Perhaps today it is good day for us to just focus on having good characteristics.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Deliver us from the evil that would keep us apart from You or each other. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,867,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Elul 21, 6003 – September 2, 2018

Another Good Day

Our days are what we make them, for the most part. Yes, in truth we are really participating in God’s world. At the same time, He has given it to us to take charge of as managers and co-creators.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We are meant to be like God. To the extent we follow His pattern, we have dominion. We can speak to the things of earth and they respond.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

So if we are like God we can create like Him within our dominion. We are to pray and believe everyday.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father, unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good. Send in quickly the $423,867,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak.
