Power Rest

Often I have referred to taking a power nap. Today, thinking of the Sabbath, I am thin king of the idea of power rest. It is where I am deliberate about the time I take with YAH and make my way to the finish line. Just like a power nap can refresh the body, a power rest can refresh the spirit. And we can make this all happen in a way that others cannot. We are meant to be refreshed both daily and weekly, and when we follow this plan, we change everything.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

All of life continues to be happening all around us. We made want to stop the flow and rest, but life continues to move. The thing is, it is okay to let it move without us. WE do not to be entrenched in everything around us. It will be okay.

Psalm 8:1 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies,
That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
And the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,

Hearts All Out

In trying to describe the feelings I have toward YAH this is the best phrase I could come up with to explain the feeling. My heart just opens to YAH and is all out there. And it compels me to move forward, which is a very good thing.

Psalm 9:9The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble.
10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
For thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Learning As A Weapon

We have the ability to learn and to grow in our knowledge and understanding. This is important because we take on more responsibility as we get older. But it is okay, it is not overwhelming. WE are given all the tools we need to do what we need to do to make it and to make a difference. Our Father is more than willing to teach us.

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Today Is Our Day!

My friends, I am with you today! Together we go out to have a most glorious and winning day and we prosper in it! Let YAH be exalted! When you face this day, know I have prayed for these words, and we face it together.

Psalm 50:1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken,
And called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty,
God hath shined.
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence:
A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above,
And to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 Gather my saints together unto me;
Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness:
For God is judge himself.

O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

Doing A Change

One thing that comes up often in conversation is the “need to make a change” both internally and from those around us. When I think this to myself, most often I have been both attentive and dismissive. I am attentive because I like to embrace change. I want to be better. The dismissive part comes in when I think I know the boundaries within which I want to make my change. Those tend to be assumed. My suggestion is think about that today as You consider that which you want to and are willing to change. Then do that change. >blockquote>James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Floating Along

As this morning comes to me, I am reminded of a feather that floats along on an almost nothing breeze. It is carried along on the variations of heat and pressure and wind. I am very grateful that YAH has chosen to watch over me and my family and friends, and even this planet. He gives me the privilege to work with Him to make this a better world. And His words have already settled it, so in reality I am just floating along with Him.

Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Let the gardens destroy all efforts and attempts with mighty blows. Show me a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are King. Look And See

If we are willing to look with eyes open, we will see the works of YAH. He is our King and our Creator. Today is a good day to reflect on what our relationship is like with our Dad. That is what He wants from us – relationship. And we can get to that if we are willing to just try. We need only to turn to Him at any point, and He turns to us.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Revelations Come

If we are willing to hear, we will hear. If we hear, we can move forward and do what we are meant to do here in this planet. Today I encourage everyone to listen.

Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Singing Hearts Sing!

My heart sometimes is so full of thankfulness toward YAH that it wants to just sing! And this is good, according to the scriptures.

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
