Getting Clarity

We as believers are human. That gives us great ability as given to us by YAH. But there can be challenges. Humans can get distracted. What we often need, like all the time, is to re-establsh our focus on YAH. We need relationship to help us be in His ways.

Psalm 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment:
Unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2 I will behave myself wisely
In a perfect way.
O when wilt thou come unto me?
I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Looking To YAH

We can choose where we look and what we will exalt. Thankfulness flows from looking to YAH and seeing all He has done for each of us. Praise YAHUAH!

Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God:
It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Pushing Forward

At times I find I need to learn something new. It can be something that I have not experienced it before. It can also be an adjustment to something I have already been doing. The question becomes what do I need to keep and what do I need to change. Then I try to keep that focus and walk towards it. hen anyone does this, they are “taking new ground” and they are actually winning a battle for that ground. Today, let’s take some new ground.

Proverbs 24:1 Be not thou envious against evil men,
Neither desire to be with them.
2 For their heart studieth destruction,
And their lips talk of mischief.
3 Through wisdom is an house builded;
And by understanding it is established:
4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.

Yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war:
And in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Working On Working Together

Here we are today. Whatever our circumstances in life might be, we are always given the opportunity to choose what we will do. When we choose to work together we actually win from the beginning. When the plans do not go as we want, we can choose to be upset. Or we can choose to work together to figure out the problem. When things go well, we can take the credit alone, or refuse to take credit. Perhaps another better thought would be to acknowledge our part by acknowledging everyone including us. If we focus on ourselves we can put ourselves in or out. But if we focus on all of us, then that is what we will both see and discuss.

Judges 7:15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.
16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.

Enough It Is

It is enough for us that we can get to our Father when we need Him near us. He is more than able to meet us and keep us through the day and the night. Since we know this is true, we can win at any time. Just pray and believe and hold on for the answer.

Psalm 44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us,
What work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2 How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them;
How thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
Neither did their own arm save them:
But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance,
Because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Cuddle Up To Papa

Images of days gone by with my kids holding on to me remain in my head to this day. I was there to comfort and protect them, and did my best. On the other hand, our Heavenly Father does that same thing, only perfectly! The comfort is overwhelming, and that is good.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress:
My God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
And from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:

Hanging Out With Dad And Family

Some days it is just really cool to just hang out with our Dad, our Heavenly Father. Add family and friends, and that is a pretty perfect sort of day. Often we run past it. But we do not have to run past. I say run To it! What a blessing!

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Make A Difference

Life is amazing, if we want it to be. We do have to make the decision that it will be. What we do is always a decision, even if we decided to not decide. That is also a decision. But we do get to choose. We have been encouraged to choose life.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Thank You For Today

When I hear what everyone else goes through, I am thankful for my place in life. Not that my life is perfect. But it is better than so many others. And I am also thankful that YAH cares for everyone. What kind of capacity does He have. Just wow! And thank you!

Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: For my soul trusteth in thee:
Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
2 I will cry unto God most high;
Unto God that performeth all things for me.
3He shall send from heaven, and save me
From the reproach of him that would swallow me up.

Battle Within

We have a battle to fight most days, or at least often. It is within us. We need to pursue a renewed mind and a clean heart. The good news is, YAH has done this very thing for everyone that asks, and done it forever. We are not an exception. He loves us just as much.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God./blockquote>
