When No One Is Around

We have been given a charge. That assignment is to do and say things that build each other up.1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
We see that there is a certain determined path for us to take with regard to how we are to move forward as a group. THere are even soecifics as to how to do this.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

The good news is, we can do this when we are alone! Yes, we want to take the time to encourage people when we are with them. But we also want to encourage them when we are by ourselves. For many of us, we have more time with no one around than with people around.

Today, let’s pray for ourselves and others when no one is around, singing in our hearts with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs focused on helping each person become better at serving YAH and that their circumstances improve.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Raise up, raise up. Raise up, the widow and the orphan. Make a way for the poor and downtrodden, a way where there is no way. Send us quickly the restoration of property and finances that we might proclaim that You alone have done these things. Show us a sign for good. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Finding Hope

Certainly in this day and age it is possible to struggle with all that goes on here. It is easy to get distracted by the challenges we face and by the challenges faced by others. If we focus on these things, even unintentionally, we can get to the place where we get discouraged. But there is a way back. That way back is hope.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

If we translate the words used here, we could say it like this:

The conviction of the absolute truth of somoething is the solid structure of what you expect (good or bad), and the proof of what is not physically seen or even possibly mentally conceived.

We can understand then that it is important to know how to get the structure to build expectations upon, right?

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This could again be translated:

The solid structure to build upon comes through what we hear with our ears (even rumors), and the ability to hear through the ears by the utterance of God/deity.

Since we are made in the image and likeness of God, and even referred to as “gods” in scripture, then we can get to hope by speaking that which God has said so that we build the faith for it.

Today, let’s think and pray about what we want to appear, and then say that.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now the overwhelming provision, that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 3, 6004 – July 7, 2019

First Day Of…

Today is the first day of the week. It can also be a new beginning for something that we have been wanting to have or do. What can we do about it?

Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

We can always make an excuse to not do something. Today instead, let’s just do it!

Deliver us from the evil here Restore unto Your people, restore property, finances, relationships, and every good thing that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Av 2, 6004 – July 6, 2019

When Weary

We are told what to do when we are weary. Let us remember the words of our Messiah on this Sabbath day.

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let everything that has breath, praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good and prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Wisdom In Watching

There is great wisdom in watching, with the intent of learning. Scriptures say Wisdom actually calls to us.

Proverbs 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

If we will watch for Wisdom, and ask God to give us wisdom, we will have all the good that comes with it.

Deliver us from the evil here, for it abounds. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the god that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Lift us from the dust and set us on high places, that all men might know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Independence?

This day in the United States we celebrate Independence Day. As I look at where we are as a country today, I want to ask, are we? It seems like the government is very involved in all our lives. Sometimes this is good, other times we question it. There is one independence that is not good – independence from our Father. We are very much dependent on Him for our everything.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

I am thankful that my Father in heaven loves me, and that He loves us.

Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom R’vi’i, Tammuz 29, 6004 – July 3, 2019

Balancing The Balance

Thinking about spiritual warfare this morning, my mind wants to know more. It seems that just making it through a day alive should be a warfare victory all by itself. I believe it is. In those moments, we must balance all that is going on that troubles us against what we know about God. David this well.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

David was praying about someone close to him that had turned against him. But the important point is, even in his time of trouble, he balanced it against what he know of God. He knew that he need only continue to hang on and pray, and watch the deliverance of God against his enemies.

Restore Your people unto You, Father, and destroy those that would turn against us. Restore unto Your people all the goods and monies that have been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Holding One Another Up

Often this phrase is used in religious circles. It is assumed we all know what it means. Today, I think I want to apply some specifics. It means to be there when the water leak hits, or the dog dies, or the car won’t start. But it also means secretly, at a distance, when someone is in need of walking out challenges to their faith. We need to lift each other up, especially in prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Let’s pray for one another today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people the prosperity and goods and relationships that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You, Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Tammuz 27, 6004 – July 1, 2019

Taking The Challenge

Life has a way of offering us challenges. We can accept those and do something about them, or not. Our challenge is to do something that gets us further along in life. And we need to do those things when times are the toughest. Today is one of those days. We must find a way to move forward.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Let’s press on.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, an earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Rishon, Tammuz 26, 6004 – June 30, 2019

Starting New

Death of any kind is always a strong signal to those that receive it. Even the death of a family pet is significant. to those that lose the pet. Such is the case at our house. We lost our dog just before Sabbath began. It has been sad, but we are doing our best to move forward. It does make me think about the process of starting over – starting new. So today we went to the zoo and the fair. It has been good.

Psalms 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

We can use challenging times to assist us in deliverance from troubles by turning readily to our Father.

Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
