So Thankful For The Day

Today I sit here thankful that I have been given the power to “back up” mentally from the challenges of the day. Instead of immediately being caught up in the day, I can sit back and take time to think of all YAH has done for us and for me. And with that pause comes a certain knowing that all will work out. This is good. Our Father loves us, and always will.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Standing Counts

When we stand for what the scriptures say, we do not stand alone. Hopefully those around us stand with us – our fellow believers and our families. But at the end of the day, everyone faces challenges in sorting through what goes on around them and others. Even if those around us end up stepping away when we stand, we still do not stand alone. Our Father is always standing with us.

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name Yah Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Just One Stone

Today in thinking about how we build one another, pondering that process led me to look at the old fountain in my back yard. It has not run for several years. Some of the decorative blocks have been removed, others have shifted, and weeds and flowers grow from the cracks of others. Life can be like that.

We build every day of our life, whether we are aware of it or not. We are moving in the direction of trying to accomplish our work, our assignment here on earth. And sometimes our efforts to help ourselves and others overtime can fall into disrepair. So what can we do?

1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

We can lay just one stone for our brothers and sisters, upon the foundation which is our Savior and Messiah, Yeshuah (Jesus).

Let the breach be restored. Let the breach be restored. Help us to find our way. Help us help others to be fed, to be housed, to be at peace. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 3, 6004 – August 5, 2019

Possibility: Possible

This morning I imagined a stamp on a project. POSSIBILITY: Possible. It would be sort of a heavenly stamp. As if angels were watching over the various projects crossing the threshold of heaven for consideration for making happen. Perhaps it is a bit whimsical to consider, but it was pleasant to imagine such a thing. Even more pleasant it was to imagine that each one of us striving to make it home to our Father through our lives, is just such a project.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And again…

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Today we can be encouraged to know that we are the sons and daughters of YAH, joint heirs to the throne through our Messiah Yeshuah. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

In The Garden

Reading this title one might take comfort in thinking of the Garden of Eden. It is true that such thinking causes me to feel comforted as well. Simpler times for sure. But even in the garden there was a worm – a serpent to be exact. Actually, I was thinking of my garden. In my garden, God does so many incredible things. It has been growing in an amazing way. And the garden right next to it God is doing on His own.

Genesis 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

We need our Father and His love to live “in the garden” of our lives.

We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Ever Learning

Much there is to know, and much to learn. It is always interesting to me to see how much we actually thought we knew, only to discover there was something about that knowledge that was not quite accurate. We make the adjustment only to see how what we were certain we knew, we did not know at all.

I am so thankful that our Father is always there for us.

Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Working It Out

There is always something going on in life. We are always about doing something. And we can be about changing something from bad to good. So what do we do as an approach to life? Work it out. We just need to work things through in life. Here is a scripture that may help.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Let us therefore seek to get it done!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Av 28, 6004 – August 1, 2019

From Imperfection To Perfection

Last night a group of us had some great conversations about our thoughts about God, scripture, ourselves… the kind that help us to find our way. This morning as I think about what it takes to be a follower of our Father, and of Yeshuah our Messiah, I am so thankful that He is perfect. It is easy for us as humans to get caught up in looking to others when something is not as we would like it to be. What I have found is I need to look at me, and compare me to scriptures. What doesn’t line up, and I can fix, I fix. What doesn’t line up, and I cannot seem to fix, I cry out to my Father to help me overcome, and to forgive me for getting wrong.

Our Father is a really good Dad. He knows who we are, that we are all fragile humans. He wants only good for us, and if we call out to Him, He is ever present to make sure we are protected.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

He also provides for us daily and at all times.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

So, this leads me to see that in my imperfect state, I am very thankful that I have, and we have, a Messiah in Yeshuah who understands what it means to be human, and without transgression of the Law (sin), became transgression of the Law (sin) for us.

Today is a good day to be thankful to our Father for what He has given to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now our needed provision, such that it overflows to those You have given us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We are all fragile and we need Your help. You alone are our only hope. Deliver us from the evil here. We need You now. We need You now. Restore Your people. Take us to the land. Take us home. Cleanse us and renew us. We thank You for all these things and ask You for all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom R’vi’i, Av 27, 6004 – July 31, 2019

Believing As A Weapon

Belief is a powerful thing. We see the world around us the way that we believe that it is. Our thoughts and understandings help to direct our paths. If we believe strong enough, we find a way to revive that power of change. This is what Yeshuah spoke about.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

A forgiven person is a cleansed and righteous person in God’s eyes. God will always uphold His righteousness. Always.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us, forgive us, forgive us, Father, for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to be like You and forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone are King in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiach. Amen.

Yom Shlishi, Av 26, 6004 – July 30, 2019

Reach Up!

When we reach out to YAH, we can do it for ourselves alone. And, it is a good thing to do for ourselves. But it is also a good thing to do for others. If we are positive in our speaking to one another, that is a very good thing. But if we pray for others, despite how they treat us, that is also good.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

We can build people up without even being near them. We need only to call out to our Father on their behalf. He loves us. He hears us. He loves the people and He will respond.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Yes, Father, the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
