Reminding The Mind

The mind is a powerful tool. It can be used to help us do amazing things. And it can be used to keep us from doing much at all. So what is the difference? Reminding.

Our mind develops patterns of “firing” of the neurons. They can be both simple and intricate. When they fire, at the point of the electrical or electro-chemical release, a bump will be formed over time. That physical bump is not only a memory, but it helps that same firing to happen again. It is these bumps and the firing patterns of the brain that make up what we call the mind. If we are using it powerfully for the good, we can continue to do so. If we want to move away from the negatives that hold us back, we have to get a do-over of the brain. We have to rebuild it anew. We have to remind our brain.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And there is a way to which all have access to remind our brain. Moses said it first, and Paul quoted him.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Said another way, at the center of our being we know how things ought to be, and with our mouth we say the same thing about it as God has said, thereby bringing us to a place of safety, deliverance, and and freedom from enemy devouring of us.

So today, we can remake our mind with what we say. In fact, we already are. When we speak our heart, we create that imagined possibility in our minds, and we then “observe” it into existence in our lives. We can use this process to win spiritual battles.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provisions. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people the promised and sent prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Trust In…

If today you are looking into the face of what may seem like overwhelming odds, then you are most fortunate indeed. I am not trying to be flip here, as I am in that same situation. Looking at things with the natural eye, there are many huge challenges in front of me. Since we are all in this together, it was important to me to have something we could all use to not just endure the tough times, but to overcome them in victory.

There have been times in my life when I have been crying our to our Father, but in grave desperation. And in those times, there have been times when I have been very saddened and upset at God as well. Still other times I have been at peace. It is in a mixture of those different times that YAH has delivered me, often with a greater deliverance that I had anticipated. It made me wonder about what it is that I can rely on and trust in such that I can stand on the edge of the sea, and walk in knowing that YAH will part the waters. A Psalm came to me that reminded me about where to place my trust.

Psalms 20 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Our Father is more real than anything we see with our eyes or think with our minds or fear with our hearts. If we will but trust in Him and His name, we can know that we are His children, and He will deliver us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Lead us away from temptations. It is Your kingdom and power that we long for in our hearts, minds, and bodies. Restore unto Your people all the prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way one thousandfold, and do it suddenly. Let it be this day, Father. Show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are King and You alone have done these things. Let us walk in dry sandals.  We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Beginning To See

Our Father will give us wisdom to know answers to important questions, the wisdom we need for understanding what is needed.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Among these prayers for wisdom can be questions regarding who we are and how we respond to certain circumstances. If we are sincere in our desire to follow YAH’s path, the Law in our hearts, He will reveal to us even the deepest of issues.

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

We can see that our Father helps us to obtain knowledge. If we ask him for wisdom, He will reveal it to us. But we must be willing to be patient to hear it from Him. He never fails us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. We need You, we need Your kingdom to rise within us. We need Your power to heal. Restore these things, and restore the prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Father’s Love

It is difficult to describe a father’s love. It is somehow the thing that binds a father to his children in a way that never ends. I never understood it until I came to understand who the Father – our Father – was and is. That happened when I realized that the Old and New Testaments were really just the same book. It has been enhanced as I have come to learn that the mission of Jesus (Yeshuah) was to live out the Law perfectly because His heart was perfect. It was to reveal that the Law is written in our hearts; all our hearts. Yeshuah calls to us to have that heart of compassion that our Father has, to be like Him.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Today, we can rest in the comfort of knowing that our Father loves us, and is always with us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Lead us away from temptation. It is Your kingdom we seek and publish. It is Your power we long to publish. And it is Your glory that we long to proclaim to the world. We need You now. We need You today. Restore the provisions that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Listening To Learn

We are always in the process of listening. We are either listening to someone talk, we are listening to the voices in our head, or we are listening to ourselves talk. Hearing is important because when we hear, it gets into us. There is a hidden and important message in the scriptures relating to what we hear. It has to do with the word “rhema” which is translated “word” or “thing” but means an utterance spoken. See how this is key to understanding these scriptures.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And when the angel spoke with Mary, he said “no thing” or literally, “nothing spoken”. Mary’s response was “according to what you said”.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

And lastly, we have Paul telling us that Moses told us how to get to the spoken words of God,

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

And then Paul told us further that the our faith comes from hearing something spoken.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So it is important to do what we can to make sure we hear what YAH is saying. And He gave us that power in our mouths to be able to hear Him, and do the right things, to follow His Law, the path before us.

Keep us from temptations. Restore Your provisions that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Deliver Me

This seems to be a common theme among believers today. We are often asking God to deliver us from a circumstance. This deliverance becomes necessary because of some situation we find ourselves in. But there is a way to improve our circumstances. A friend of mine recently told me about his experiences with what he calls, “the overwhelming”. The overwhelming, for him, is that swarm of thoughts that can come to us one or more times during the day. For him, it would come to him several times during the evening, and first thing in the morning most often. There could also be other times during the day when these thoughts would “overwhelm”. He began to pray and to search scriptures, and concluded that he needed to cry out to YAH when these things occurred, even to the point of praying out loud, even in the middle of the night.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

My friend tells me he started this a few days ago, and it is working! Praise God!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth ass it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptation. Send in quickly the manifestations of the visions of provision that we might help all we know and those we do not know. Show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen. Amen. Amen and Amen.

Warm Inside

If this was winter, that title would bring a whole different feeling to people. However, it is still the end of summer. The “warm inside” refers to how I feel sometimes when I have a sense of thankfulness towards God for all He has done. Our Father has provided everything for us. It is a buried treasure, hidden in His Law.

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
6 Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to for give thos that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Guide us away from temptation. Restore the wealth and prosperity and peace and health to Your people that You alone have set aside for us. Send it now that all might know that You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

First Steps

Not every battle is filled with glory. But all battles, and everything else we will ever do in life, begins with a first step. If there is something you want to do in life but it seems too big, take a first step. It is true in walking as YAH walks, on the path that He has made. Pray for His help and guidance, and You can make it.

Psalms 119 VAU.
41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

Take a first step.

Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Building In-Kingdom

Thinking this morning about the task we are all given of building one another up, there was one thing in particular that came to mind. It is good to build people up in a way that better enables them to serve in the kingdom of God. We are to be about our Father’s business, therefore we want to help our fellow believers be better equipped for that. All of this is important because we are trying to sort things out in our own lives, and so are our brothers and sisters.

Maybe the one of the best ways is to just live out an example of saying and doing scriptures. This is in the scriptures in several places. Here is one of my favorites.

Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Today, let’s all encourage one another to say and do scriptures, thereby we publish peace.

Let us not be tempted more than we can stand. This is Your king. The power is Yours. Let us be with You Father. Let us publish Your Law. We need You now. Send in Your peosperity. Show us a sign for good. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 17, 6004 – August 19, 2019

Our New Covenant

Thinking today about the blessing we have in the New Covenant, it made me think of the scriptures that tell us what that is.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

So, what does this mean?

The Law in our heart = New Covenant = Salvation
No Law in our heart = No New Covenant = No Salvation

Profoundly simple.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Yo alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed ot transgressed against us. Restore Your people. Set them on high, and show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone are King. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
