Importance Of Loving And Caring

As I began to write this morning, the title stumped me a little. I wanted to use a word that means loving someone as in deeply caring but not romantic love. In the US, we seem to be pretty trained to thinking most often of romantic love. We get it in media – songs, movies, advertising – and it is rather relentless. I cannot help but think what this world would be like if we could just focus for a while on caring for people as a top priority. What if we were trained that that was the goal in life versus wealth, power grabs, sex, drugs, alcohol, etc? What would humanity be like? These are great thoughts to consider, and pray to our Father about, on this Sabbath day.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Praise the name Yahuah, for He is King, over everything. Praise His holy name. Praise the name YAHUAH! Praise the name YAHUAH! Let Your kingdom come here Father, in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here, as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision, and let it overflow to those in need Father. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We want to make this a better place, a place that glorifies Your name, YAH. Deliver us from evil, and from the acts of evil that men do. Keep us from temptations. The kingdom within us is Yours, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Restore all the substance and precious stones, gold and silver that has been taken away, consumed or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. We ask You to rise up, Father King, and send Your angels right now to minister to these things. I release them in heaven and bind them to me and to Your people to loosen the enemies from off us that we might receive quickly these requests, with healing. We ask all these things of You, Yahuah our Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

My People Perish

There is a case to be made for the need for something when we read scriptures about how God’s people perish, or are destroyed.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

It is interesting that the explanation of “lack of knowledge” is “forgotten the Law”, and seems to say that this moving away from the Law will cause destruction. Hosea is in agreement with another scripture in this regard, also often quoted.

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Here we see that lack of prophetic vision results in people being exposed in a way that results in them perishing, but the one that guards the Law by observing it and doing it is happy. Interestingly, the descriptive definition of chazown, or prophetic “vision” here, means to mentally “see” with pleasure. This is what happened to Abraham when He followed after God. We can also see that the Law plays a key role in the ability to follow YAH. This makes sense when we understand what the new covenant is, as defined in scripture.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

It’s all about the heart. We a re encouraged to have our heart transformed by the Law being written on it. This happens when we accept the sacrifice of the body of Yeshuah (Jesus) once for all transgression of the Law (sin) and surrender to Him as our Savior and Yahuah (Lord).

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. We praise Your Holy Name, Yahuah. You are our King. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your provision, and let it overflow to those around us. You alone are worthy to be praised. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and the plans of evil men. Keep us from temptation, O YAH. This is Your creation. This is Your world. We ask that You would save this place, and restore the promise of substance and prosperity. Restore the good what has been eaten or taken or held back, in any way, and the more besides. Yes YAH, the much more besides. We ask all these things of You Yahuah, our King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Happiness From Thankfulness

We can get to a place where we are happy to be alive serving the living God, Yahuah. He alone is worthy to be praised, and we offer up the sacrifice of praise. It has always been so.

Hosea 14:1 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

We can be happy because we have been given something very special. We have been given mercy from our Father that we might receive the blessings and not the curses.

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Our Father wants to give us mercy. We need only cry out to Him to receive it. Is that not an amazing gift from Him toward us? And what He seeks is a people willing to gain knowledge of Him and His ways. If we will but turn to Him and offer our praises, we will arrive at the place that He has always meant for us.

Today, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to Yahuah, the One True King!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You! Praise Your name Yahuah! Praise Your name YAH! You alone are our King! You alone are our King. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and also the bodies of the people, Father, Your people. Let Your will be done here so perfectly, just as it is in the heaven. Send us now Your provision, and let it overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Let those that have devised evil plans against us reap those plans for themselves Father. Let them be silenced, and learn of the judgement that only You can make. Bring them to their knees that they might turn to You and call Your name beloved. Lead us away from the temptations here. Lead us to Your kingdom within us completely. Restore what the worm has eaten, and all that has been devoured, or held back or taken in any way, and that manifold more upon more upon more. Show us a sign for good Father, that all men might know that You alone are King, You alone are God. We love You and need You today. Thank You Father. Thank You Father, Yahuah our King. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Open To Hear

Perhaps like me you have found yourself wondering why we do not see or hear of prophets that have messages from YAH like the ones we read in scriptures. As I ponder this question this morning, I read the beginning of Ezekiel. It was very interesting. Can you imagine having even one of those visions today? Likely we would keep it to ourselves, or possibly try to “get help” for ourselves because we thought we were losing it. Yet, here we are, wondering why there is less of what used to be present in our lives today. Perhaps what is needed is being open to hearing.

Ezekiel 3:10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

From the brief study I did on these words, I arrived at an understanding that we need to be open to both understand intelligently with obedience (hearing with the ear) as well as taking it into our midst, the seat of our emotions and power (the heart). And one of the challenges here is we need to be open to seeing the unusual, which is what Ezekiel saw. How can we be sure?

John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

So here we are, taking this all in and wanting to know His voice only. Like any relationship, it takes time to get used to the one you are in relationship with, such that you readily recognize their voice. But we can trust Him to show us clearly.

Spending time wanting to hear clearly and take into our midst only what YAH has given is our heart’s desire. Begin.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. We long to praise You face to face. We love You and we love Your name Yahuah. Let Your kingdom come here int our very being, and let Your will be done here in the earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision, and let it overflow to those around us. Let the food and clothing and shelter and healing overflow. Overflow, YAH, overflow. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help all those that have transgressed or trespassed against us be forgiven by us. We need Your help and Your heart, YAH, we need Your help and Your heart. Deliver us from the evil here that would deceive us or lead us away or cause us harm. Keep us from temptations. This is Yours Father, this earth is Yours. Show us more of Your ways and how to diligently follow. Restore the substance and prosperity and wonders that have been eaten or held back or taken in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Let Your kingdom be with us, that healing and blessings might flow, O YAH, Father King. We ask all these things of You YAHUAH, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shlishi, Kislev 14, 6004 – November 12, 2019

Singing As Building

We are told various ways that we can build one another up in Yahuah (the Lord).

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Paul was letting the Colossians know that they change their being through knowledge, becoming more like our Father. That change occurs when we let the shalom of our Father into our hearts, and we are thankful, and we then both teach ourselves and others and remind ourselves and others through singing. There is another time Paul said something similar.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Here we see wisdom brought into the picture once again. It also involves the heart and thanksgiving. The tone of this portion of each of these letters is about how we treat each other, especially in the family unit. Singing matters.

Today, as we approach a day where we are called to be more like Him, let us all remember to sing to YAH with thanksgiving and the pursuit of wisdom for each other and ourselves.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone, You alone, You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Let Your will be done here on earth as perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision, and let it overflow to those around us in need, that they would know that You alone are King. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and keep us from temptation. This is Your place, Father, King of love and grace. Please bring Your righteousness here. Forgive us our transgressions of the Law, Father. Let Your light shine in our hearts and minds. We need You. We need You. Let there suddenly be prosperity and substance delivered to us, and that in abundance upon abundance, Father. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Winter Storms

Winter days in the Midwest can be very trying, at least the first few big snow days. It is like we forget how to drive. We lament the snow removal, and we are already longing for the warmth of springtime. The interesting part is we have been through it before. We know what it takes to get through it and get done what needs to get done. Our life with YAH is like this. There are set cycles that He has set out for us. He even gave us the natural markers in the sky to keep us informed.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

He had the prophets tell us the importance of the these “seasons” which is in Hebrew, moedym, or “appointed times”, also known as feasts.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Today, regardless of the weather you are facing, just know that we serve the living God who is with us and has established patterns in the heaven for us all to follow.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Yes, You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. We praise Your name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it overflow to those in need. Let it overflow. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Forgive us Father, for we are frail. Deliver us from the evil here that might cause the enemy to prevail. We need You and we need help to resist temptations. We need You to come in Your power and might to deliver the kingdom in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Restore unto Your people the relationships and the healings and the prosperity and the substance that You have promised so long ago, long ago, and the more besides, that have been eaten by the worm, or held back or taken. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Kislev 12, 6004 – November 10, 2019

It’s Okay

Many times in life we get into challenges that seem to overtake us. That might not be said exactly clearly. There can be a lot going on, right? In the midst of that we are trying to do our best, and perhaps worry that it is not enough. Maybe we think we have let Him down or let others down. But our Father does not see it that way. He just loves us.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Yes, we need to be diligent in the things that we do to get to the end. At the same time, we need to be in relationship with our Father to the extent that we can understand that He loves us and wants only the best for us. He will make a way for us where there is now way.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You shine the light for us to see our way, Your way. You care for us, and we exalt Your name. Praise the name YAHUAH. Praise Your separated name. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Let Your perfect will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptation. Let Your kingdom reign here Father. Restore the blessings unto Your people YAH. Cover our transgressions. Restore the substance and prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, or eaten, and much more, much more, much much more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, asking You to rise up and deliver today. WE ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Kislev 11, 6004 – November 9, 2019

Winning In Resting

Sometimes resting with our Father is all we have. But that is enough. When we rest with our Father on the Sabbath, we have the chance to live out his commandments one more time.

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

When we keep YAH’s commandments, we get the blessings that come with them.

Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Said another way, when we take the Sabbath to rest with our Father, we win.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise Your name YAH! We love You, and we love Your name, we love You. Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good of provision and substance and wealth that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shishi, Kislev 10, 6004 – November 8, 2019

Soldier Up

Often I have heard it said that people are in need of being tougher. It usually happens when someone is facing a challenging situation that seems to be overwhelming them at that moment. And it is often said by someone with no skin in the game, nothing at risk from the outcome. However, there can be validity to the comment. It can also be a statement made by a coach. Our Father has said it in the past to various people specifically and to us generally as believers.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

There is a song that refers to believers as soldiers. It is a comforting old hymn to many. It is something that those that want to believe in spiritual warfare often enjoy. Whether one agrees with that philosophy or not, there is one thing that we can do. We can use that idea to realize that our Father has already declared our position as a winner. We can and we will be victorious. We only need follow the words of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus).

Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You are my King. Praise the name YAHUAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people, Father, Your people. Let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it flow and then overflow. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptation. Let Your power flow. Let Your healing flow. We love You. We love You, O YAH. You are our Father. You are King. Restore unto Your people all substance and healing and prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Kislev 9, 6004 – November 7, 2019

So Much Better

This morning as I think about all YAH has saved me from, I am very thankful. Life could have been so much worse than it is. Said like that, it may sound like I have a bad life. I do not. But like everyone I have many challenges in life. My point is that when I spend too long thinking about the bad things in life, I just take time to remember how really bad things could have been or could be. Our Father is very good to us in that regard. He very much cares for us. This morning is a good time to just take the time to contemplate all the good that He has done for us.

Psalms 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

There are those in this earth that choose to do evil and to speak evil, relishing that more than YAH and His righteousness. But YAH will judge that and take care of that, all the while being merciful toward us who choose Him and His ways.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Today, let’s praise the name YAH, and give thanks for His deliverance and protection and mercy toward us, for we shall see Him judge those that come against us, and watch as He does His desire unto our enemies.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Praise the name YAH. We love the name YAH, and we love You Father. You alone, You alone, You alone are King. Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, both in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people YAH. For You alone are King, YAH. We are Your people, and You alone can save and deliver us. We love You. Send us now Your provision of sustenance and substance as You have promised. And we know Your promises are true. It is only You that can do the things You do. Forgive us our trespasses and our transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Help us to cleanse our hearts that no evil will prevail within us. We love to sing Your praises. We love to sing Your ways. We love that You are King, and everything is Yours. O Father King Yahuah, rise up Dad and deliver, for much has been held back or taken from me and Your people. I ask that You restore all substance and wealth and prosperity and healing one thousandfold, and the more besides. Send in quickly Your provision for travels and journeys for Your people to declare Your works, YAH. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.
