Reformatting Your Life
As a general rule, humans resist change. Not really sure why that is, but it does seem true. Perhaps it is because we fear what we do not know or understand? That could be. But part of the issue with resistance to change might be how we view the change process. I like to compare it to reformatting a page using a computer.
The page needs changing. There might be a need for additions, some deletions, and just the look, and feel. Maybe some of the text is clunky and just has no flow. All of these things can be modified. In the end, what we had is changed and far more presentable. People have an easier time understanding it. We like how it reads and flows. Our lives can be changed, can be reformatted in much the same way. To do that we use prayer, song, and scripture to help us “reformat” what our Father has already ordained as good – He sees the end from the beginning.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Let’s do some reformatting today.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be Your servants in the earth to reformat it to Your will. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Please come quickly to our aid. In You is our only hope. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
