Catching Us
When I woke up this morning I saw a picture in my mind. I am unclear if it was after I woke up or while I was yet asleep. The picture was brief, but it was a picture of God catching me as I was falling. There are many reasons why we as believers can feel like we are falling. We can feel overwhelmed financially, emotionally, or even in our health if we are sick. We can feel like or know that we made a bad choice in a certain situation. God is always there to come to our aid.
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
God is forever on our side. We have only to call out to Him and He takes action. We may have to wait to see the result of our prayers, or we may see them immediately. If we hold on and trust God, we will see Him take action. We can be thankful that God always catches us.
Prayer
Father, we praise and exalt You. You are the good and mighty Kin of the universe. You alone are worthy of praise and honor. We need Your kingdom here on the earth. We need you here today, now, moving among Your people. Send Your kingdom today amongst us. Send today Your healing, deliverance, and overwhelming abundant provision. In Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) name. Amen.
