Take It Easy

Or said another way, calm down. It is not difficult to be critical of others or even ourselves. But it is better to just slow down a bit and take it easy. It is better if we can realize we are not perfect and that we all have a ways to go. For me, I struggle sometimes with seeing my own faults and seeing the faults of others. Today, on the Sabbath, I prefer to rest. I want to just spend time with my. Father and my friends and family and praise YAH!

Psalm 48:1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised
In the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth,
Is mount Zion, on the sides of the north,
The city of the great King. 3God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

Cleansing The Heart

The heart is an important part of our very existence as a human. And we can work towards making it align more and more with our Father and His heart. This world can distract us. But we can fight that distraction if we choose. It takes desire to do the right thing. It takes a desire to stay close to YAH. It takes a commitment to Him and to His ways. The distraction can be strong, but we can win. One thing that helps us win is to spend time with YAH on the Sabbath to rest and to learn. He will give us the desire to be like Him. He is a very good Father.

Psalm 37:ב Bet
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD;
And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

What Do You Seek?

As humans we can focus on less than the best. The best is YAH. On this Sabbath, Let’s focus on YAH.

Psalm 103:6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment
For all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses,
His acts unto the children of Israel.

If My People…

A scripture came to mind that is good for the Sabbath.

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

If we are not cautious, it can be easy to get caught up in the “pressure cooker” of life. The Sabbath is meant to be joyful time spent with YAH. Enjoy!

Loving On Our Father

On the Sabbath it is a perfect time to just love on our Daddy. He is King, but loves time with His kids, more than any earthly father. And that is saying a lot. I know because as a father, I really enjoy times with my kids. Spend time with Dad. He loves you.

Galations 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Shabbat On!

It is so good to Shabbat with Dad on the Sabbath. It is a great time to relax and consider all He has done. It is just great to praise His name. Time is good with family as well! Praise YAH!

Family Time

As believers we are family. We are family to each other, and YAH is our Father. The Sabbath is for rest and for family time.

Standing With YAH

Blessed is the King YAHUAH! we stand with YAH, or at least we get the opportunity to stand with Him. And how do we do that? We have our feet ready to go!

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

So how do get our feet like that?

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Sticking To The Plan

YAH always had a plan. It has not changed. His plan is for man to live upon and rule the earth according to the will and righteousness of YAH. He wants a good life for us. From time to time I have thought I might move a bit from the plan. Then I realized again and again that I missed the point. It is about the plan YAH has made. It WILL come to pass. Praise YAH!
