Power Rest

Often I have referred to taking a power nap. Today, thinking of the Sabbath, I am thin king of the idea of power rest. It is where I am deliberate about the time I take with YAH and make my way to the finish line. Just like a power nap can refresh the body, a power rest can refresh the spirit. And we can make this all happen in a way that others cannot. We are meant to be refreshed both daily and weekly, and when we follow this plan, we change everything.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Look And See

If we are willing to look with eyes open, we will see the works of YAH. He is our King and our Creator. Today is a good day to reflect on what our relationship is like with our Dad. That is what He wants from us – relationship. And we can get to that if we are willing to just try. We need only to turn to Him at any point, and He turns to us.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Forgiveness Is A Key

We are called to forgiveness through the shed blood, death and resurrection of our Messiah. We see this in the fig tree that was dries up from the root.

Mark 11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Consider the pain, suffering, and negative accusations hurled at the Messiah on the way to His crusifiction. Then they nailed Him up. And what was it that He said to YAH? Did He ask for judgment and that they all be killed? No.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

He was the Passover Lamb for all mankind. And what happens when the people claim the forgiving blood of the Lamb?

Exodus 12:11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’s passover.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

When we keep the feasts and declare and praise the Lamb, the enemy is cut off.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

We must forgive to be forgiven. And that is when the blood of the Lamb flows through us to heal.

Set the whirlwinds to blow, and the paperwork and documents never alight. Confusion abound upon those that pursue, and systems confounded and corrupted. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yahusha HaMashiach. Amen.

Ever Learning

The Sabbath is such a joyful time for learning and doing the things of YAH. We never stop learning. This life is a journey for learning of YAH and His ways. We learn these things by digging into the scriptures and by praying. Our Father is willing to answer us if we are willing to ask.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Time To Take The Time

In the times we are in, we can become concerned about what is all around us. This is not to say that we should be unaware of our surroundings. However, we are not a people that are given to fear, but to faith. In these times, we need time with our Father, for He alone can deliver us.

Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak:
For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him;
That glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth;
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good;
And our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him;
And shall set us in the way of his steps.

See The Father

Psalm 78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law:
Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
2 I will open my mouth in a parable:
I will utter dark sayings of old:
3 Which we have heard and known,
And our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come,
The praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

Just Pause

Psalm 71:7 I am as a wonder unto many;
But thou art my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
And with thy honour all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age;
Forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 For mine enemies speak against me;
And they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11 saying,
God hath forsaken him: Persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12 O God, be not far from me:
O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul;
Let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually,
And will yet praise thee more and more.
15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day;
For I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD:

Rest As YAH Works

Psalm 54:1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer:
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked;
From the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword,
And bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect:
Suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter:
They commune of laying snares privily; They say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search:
Both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them
With an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves:
All that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God;
For they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him;
And all the upright in heart shall glory.

Welcomed Rest

Psalm 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle:
Are they not in thy book?
9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back:
This I know; for God is for me.
10 In God will I praise his word:
In the LORD will I praise his word.
11 In God have I put my trust:
I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
12 Thy vows are upon me, O God:
I will render praises unto thee.
13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God in the light of the living?

Peace Is Sought

Psalm 49:1 Hear this, all ye people;
Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
2 Both low and high,
Rich and poor, together.
3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom;
And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
4 I will incline mine ear to a parable:
I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
