Day 7 – Yom Sha-bat

Yom Shabbat, Nissan 15, 6004 – March 23, 2019

Unleavened Bread

When the nation of Israel was let go from Egypt, they fled quickly. There was no time to let dough rise. They ate flat cakes of unleavened bread for seven days. We are commanded to do this same thing each year.

Exodus 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.
5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done, let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. And let Your kingdom come here. Send us Your provision. Deliver us from the evil that we cling to. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Lead us not into temptation. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah asking them of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Nissan 8, 6004 – March 16, 2019

Today In Wonderland

Where is Alice these days? When I consider the works of YAH, I think of all He has done. I try to see the world from different perspectives in an attempt to understand exactly what it is that He is doing for us, and has already done. On the Sabbath, I like to think about what is in store for us as believers, and spend time with our Daddy.

Psalms 111:1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our Elohim. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and trans gressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good – the relationships, financial prosperity, and health – that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides, the more besides. Let the rivers of finances begin to flow to Your people. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Nissan 1, 6004 – March 9, 2019

Love Is

Fill in the blank, right? What is love? We as believers would expect it to be what we find when a group of believers gather. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. But we always have love from our Father. And this is the day that He set aside to be with us. Let’s enjoy this day.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Bless the name YAH today!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You Father in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Adar 24, 6003 – March 2, 2019

Family Matters

Today’s title has varying impact and meaning depending on whether the second word is a noun or a verb. On the Sabbath, perhaps it is both. After all, we are a part of God’s family.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Lead us not, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of Your Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Adar 17, 6003 – February 23, 2019

Resting And Learning

Yom Shabbat, or “seventh day” is traditionally thought of as the day of rest. Interestingly the day of rest has been shifted to Yom Rishon, or “first day” which is a whole study in itself. Maybe even a group of studies. Anyway, I suggest it is also a day of learning. We learn about YAH and His creation. We try to gain understanding of His goals in getting us to this point, and beyond. We want to truly know Him to rest with Him.

2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We do these things that we might reveal them to others. This is a good thing on this Shabbat.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here and let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Send us Your overflowing provision that we might have no need, and give unto others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah. Restore unto Your people all the good that has been taken of held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,062.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of Your, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Adar 10, 6003 – February 16, 2019

Rest And Pray

Everyday is a good day to pray, and even rest. But the rest of the Sabbath is more somehow. And prayer on the Sabbath can be such a blessing. Somehow, it just seems closer to our Father.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, and let Your kingdom come here. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from that evil of memories and grudges, washing them from us. Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. We ask all these things of You, Father. We ask all these things of You. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to restore the kingdom unto You, the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Adar 3, 6003 – February 9, 2019

Walls And Openings

Words have power because they are spoken by creatures with power. When multiple people say the same thing, the power increases. This is just one more reason that patterns are important. Patterns emerge and are amplified in proportion to the words flowing. There is a pattern that our Creator established.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, as it is in heaven.Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. And Father, let the $423,483,962.53 come quickly that we might use it to promote the kingdom. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 26, 6003 – February 2, 2019

Psalms 92

A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.
1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
8 But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.
9 For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people, and let Your will be done. Send us Your provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 12, 6003 – January 19, 2019

Clear Sight

We have access to seeing clearly. When I wrote that just now, it seemed odd, at least on the surface. But if we think about it, we can probably all remember times when What we thought or what we knew was something different from what we thought or knew previously. What really changed? In many cases the answer will be, our perspective. If we are willing to change our perspective, our way of seeing things, then we can approach clear sight.

2 Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

When we are presented with the option of reconciling with God, what does that mean, and what do we do about it? It means, in part, that we exchange what we have been doing wrong for what our Messiah did with His death and resurrection. We exchanged evil for good, transgressions of the Law (sin) for the righteousness of God. In that moment we make the trade, we are clean, until the next moment we need to make the trade again. As far as what to do about it, it’s simply complex. Make the trade. Lay down the evil for the good that our Messiah wants to give us. Righteous of God in Him – the ability to stand with our Father and not be condemned to death for the transgressions of the Law (sins).

This day, the Sabbath, is a good day for each of us to pray about what is the need for us as individuals to make the trade, and get to the place of right standing with our Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your kingdom come here, and fill the hearts and minds and bodies of the people, which is Your will, just as heaven is perfectly filled. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed of transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We need You Father, to rise up O King. We need You Father, to rise up O King! Show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone are our King, Father. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen. Amen and Amen. Amen.
