Honoring The King!

The Sabbath is a great time to give praise and honor and recognition to YAH!

Psalm 34:

1 I will bless the LORD at all times:
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Sing Out Our Praises!

When YAH calls, our heart responds.

Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear:
Though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after;
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

YAH Is Our Defense

YAH always hears His people… ALWAYS!

Psalm 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble;
The name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings,
And accept thy burnt sacrifice;

4 Grant thee according to thine own heart,
And fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners:
The LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

Rest In Knowing Our Father King

We have the Most High watching over us on the Sabbath and every day.

Psalm 13:3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God:
Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him;
And those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Man And YAH

Psalm 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
And the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,
And hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands;
Thou hast put all things under his feet:

Yea, and the beasts of the field;

And whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

Rest My Children

YAH has always had a rest in mind for us.

Matthew 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

Sabbath Praise

What an amazing time for praise! We have been given a time to rest. That time is the Sabbath. We get to focus on YAH and our family and friends. How amazing is that, right? Praise YAH!

Psalm 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come:
And the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary;
From heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner;
To loose those that are appointed to death;
21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion,
And his praise in Jerusalem;
22 When the people are gathered together,
And the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Hanging Out With Dad And Family

Some days it is just really cool to just hang out with our Dad, our Heavenly Father. Add family and friends, and that is a pretty perfect sort of day. Often we run past it. But we do not have to run past. I say run To it! What a blessing!

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Peace In The Storm

Commit yourself to staying at peace in the storm. This is a good thing. If I am at peace, then YAH can work. But if I am stressed, likely I am not trusting that He will work on my behalf. What else is there really? I chose YAH.

Psalm 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; He will hear him from his holy heaven
With the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen:
But we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, LORD:
Let the king hear us when we call.
