Day 7 – Yom Sha-bat

Yom Shabbat, Sivan 26, 6004 – June 1, 2019

Resting And Rest

This was a previous post, but well worth a reread…

Often when I think of rest, I think of doing nothing. Vegetating is another word for that action. Rest can be seen as a noun, a thing, in that regard. Resting is more of an action. It involves doing something to rest. On the Sabbath, we take part in resting to gain rest. We acknowledge God to gain our place with Him. This is just a simple example of an idea behind the Sabbath.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Rest And Peace

Today I had the honor of meeting some real American heroes. Men of the Forgotten Battalion. They gave me much more than I could ever give to them. I pray that we all receive rest and peace.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heave. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us now from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides, the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach, asking them of You Father, our King. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Surrender And Rest

If we are not cautious in our thoughts, we can find ourselves wanting to be in control. It can be subtle, like wanting things to go a certain way, wanting them to happen at a certain time, or being disgruntled when they do not. All signs of the desire to control. And this is not an attack on having a plan. Planning is good. But “letting go and letting God” is also good.

Proverbs 16: 9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.

We can rest knowing Go has got this.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone tare King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people – the healing, the health, the lands and seas, and the gold and silver – and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Iyar 28, 6004 – May 4, 2019

Resting Day

What do we do to make things okay in our lives? Resting is one good answer for me. YAH made the Sabbath a day for resting.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Rest. It is a good thing!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Deliver us from evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Sabbath Rest

Psalms 92 A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.
1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
8 But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.
9 For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here that would tempt us not to forgive. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of YAH here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things in the name above names. We ask all these things of You, Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Iyar 14, 6004 – April 20, 2019

Passover

Exodus 12:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s passover.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken of held back in any way from Your people, and the more beside. We ask all these things of You Father in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Iyar 7, 6004 – April 13, 2019

Communicating With Our Father

There have been a number of times in my walk that I have heard others say something like, “I just want God to tell me what to do so I can do it.” For me, I have said this same thing. In my case, however, it has been more from the standpoint of what to do in a situation so I can do it every time that situation comes up. While some of that is good, it misses one of the main points has for my life. Maybe for all our lives. Communicating with our Father is the primary goal that He wants. What Father does not desire intensely for his children to communicate with him? How much more our heavenly Father would want to communicate with His creation!

Psalms 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praie the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people prosperity. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the goods taken or held back in any way, and the more besides, the ore besides. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Nissan 29, 6004 – April 6, 2019

Sabbath Healing

One year ago today on this Saturday God healed me in a miraculous way. I still remember the feeling as we were holding up signs for pro-life. It was like electricity ran through my whole body for an hour. As I think of it today, I cannot help but think about what we are as humans, what we are meant to be, and what we are meant to do. For me at least, it is good to ponder these things on the Sabbath. I long to be hearing and doing that which my Father tells me. It can be challenging when we face times that do not support what we are up to in our lives. By that I mean our hearts prayers are yet to be manifest in our life. But YAH is unchanging in His love for us. He is constant in His desire and commitment to give us the life He promised.

Joshua 1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Prayer
Father, we exalt thee. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come, and let Your will be done here as it is so perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your provision, yes, send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. WE ask all these things of You our King. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Nissan 22, 6004 – March 30, 2019

Brother’s Keeper

There is a good scripture to address the concerns of many regarding the need for us all to watch over our fellow man. We can ask, “What does God think?”

Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah HaMashiach, and we are asking them of You, Father, our King. Amen and Amen. Amen and Amen.
