Hear And Do
In the Torah, there is a prayer called the Shema, and it is preceded by a similar statement.
Deuteronomy 6:3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
The word for “hear” and the word for “observe” are closely related. This same word is also translated as “publish”. In this and other passages there is a clear tie between the mouth saying something and the ears hearing something. There also seems to be a strong connection between what is heard and what is done, and the power to do it.
On this Sabbath day, may we all focus on hearing and doing, filling our hearts with what our Father has to say to us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that ha ve trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us fro the evil here. Restore, my Kng restore. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name Yah Yeshuah HaMashiach. Thank You, We love You. Help us now. Help us now. Help us now. Amen.

Ever Learning
Much there is to know, and much to learn. It is always interesting to me to see how much we actually thought we knew, only to discover there was something about that knowledge that was not quite accurate. We make the adjustment only to see how what we were certain we knew, we did not know at all.
I am so thankful that our Father is always there for us.
Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people and the more besides. Best Tool For Our Walk
We want our walk to be great. We want our lives to be great. It is clear that change is good, from a scriptural perspective.
Psalms 55:12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
So, to get to great if it is not we must change. That is a good thing.
Unfortunately, for many of us, our idea of great is for everyone else to change. The result of that is people talking about others, which is not good for anyone. In the end if we know that change is good, we should seek change that is Godly. And fortunately there is one tool that is really good for that, or actually two. The mirror – if you look into it long enough you will see the truth and change. And then the spiritual mirror – the scriptures.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
We have a simple truth, a simple answer, a simple way to walk. Use the mirror our Father has given to us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and lete Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all the goods that have been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Seeking Peace
It was a challenging week for my friends and me. Perhaps it was for you as well. In these times I like to rest on the Sabbath and find peace. Guess today is one of those days for me. So many challenges, it would be great for today to not have more. Probably I will just spend time reading and writing and singing.
Psalms 121 A Song of degrees.
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Healing Words
On the Sabbath, we like to read the words of scripture out loud. There can be healing in these words when we hear them. Scriptures say there is blessing in reading them aloud.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
There is even instruction to read the Torah out loud once every seven years.
Deuteronomy 31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and unto all the elders of Israel.
10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
11 When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
Bottom line, read the scriptures out loud and be blessed.

When Weary
We are told what to do when we are weary. Let us remember the words of our Messiah on this Sabbath day.
Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let everything that has breath, praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good and prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Good Bye
Today I buried a good friend. Our dog, Freedom, passed away last night. Today we buried her with a short service.
Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
We love you, Miss Freedom. Dance and play with the angels…

Sabbath Learning
It can become obvious with just a small amount of study that we have so much to learn. Let us use the Sabbath to learn of our Father.
Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here and let Your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Worshiping
Recently I was wondering what the word worship means.
Deuteronomy 12:29 When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
It seems that we are to do things YAH’s way, and not stray from that as it leads to doing things the way of other nations.
Prayer
Father we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here.Restore unto You rpeople one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Resting With Friends
It is good not to separate ourselves from others. So say the scriptures.
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
When we assemble on the Sabbath, it is a good thing. We can rest with one another, and with God.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the gold and silver, all the relationships, and all the goods that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
