Day 7 – Yom Sha-bat

Yom Shabbat, Cheshvan 20, 6004 – October 19, 2019

Needing Dad

There are different times when I want to find my way to my Father. Some days are challenging because we think in terms that we relate to rather than in YAH’s dimension. But what if we think in YAH’s dimension, at least as best we can? Is it possible for us to actually accomplish something within ourselves? For me at least, the answer is yes.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

On this Sabbath, I just want to be with Dad.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and keep us from temptation. It’s Your kingdom. It’s Your power. We ask You to rise up in this hour, and save us, giving us Your peace. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way, and that one thousandfold. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Cheshvan 13, 6004 – October 12, 2019

Our Father With Us

We can choose. We can choose blessings or curses.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

When we choose to follow YAH and His ways, we get life and blessing. We know that He has said to set apart the Sabbath.

Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Let’s separate the Sabbath from the rest of the week, and keep it for YAH and with YAH.

Prayer
Father, we adore You and exalt You, O King. You alone are worthy, Youalone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people, Father, all substance and goodness that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Cheshvan 6, 6004 – October 5, 2019

Rest In What We Heard

YAH has given us a day of rest that we might get the opportunity to set the day apart from other days. We do that by not doing our customary work. It is a good day to reflect on all that YAH has done for us. It is a good day to reflect on all that YAH has said to us. We are not alone. YAH is with us in every step we take. He was with us before we were formed.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

It is good for us if we can realize this. In fact, it can give us reason to celebrate the name YAH!

Psalms 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

Today, let us take time to praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Only You can deliver us from the evil here. Only You, can show us the way. Only You can free us from temptation, giving us power to resist. You alone are true. Your words are true. We love You. We need You. You are King, You and only You. Send us now Your provision that overflows and reaches souls, giving life and light. Giving life and light. Let Gabriel come. Let Gabriel come. Show me Your way, Father. WE ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tishri 28, 6004 – September 28, 2019

Thinking Of YAH

Here we are at our beginning of our lives – literally the beginning of the rest of our days. How would we like our life to have been? We cannot change the past, and only have marginal input on the future. What we can change is this moment right now. Today. This is what we can focus on and have impact on, is today.

Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Today, on this Sabbath, let’s seek His will and His way first. Let’s seek to have the heart of YAH.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and help us to resist temptation. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tishri 21, 6004 – September 21, 2019

Overcoming Fears

Sometimes I see why YAH created the Sabbath for a certain purpose. Of course, there are likely many. However, one that comes to mind this morning is, overcoming fear. The Sabbath is meant to be a safe place. It is a place where we leave routine life behind. We are meant to focus on YAH and His work, I believe.

Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

The word “holy” here means set apart. This day was established before the fall of mankind. Some would say the entire Law was always present, because it is the heart of YAH. I would agree. However, recorded in Genesis is the establishment of this Sabbath detail.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

So we see that YAH has created a margin, a separation, from what we traditionally do, as a form of recognition and celebration. The next week would have been interesting, I would think. However, there is nothing recorded after this but the fall.

Let’s not surrender to our fears. Instead, when the Sabbath appears, let’s rest.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. Restore unto Your people that which has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tishri 14, 6004 – September 14, 2019

The Rest We Need

When a person undertakes significant athletic pursuits, they learn about the importance of rest. Our bodies are designed to do miraculous things. They can build up their abilities to perform tasks. But in that process, they need time to recover and rebuild. This is true of muscle tissue. This is also true of the inner person and the spiritual condition.

Jeremiah 31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the Lord.

God made us to need the rest. He anointed a day of rest to be separate from all of the other days.

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

We see that YAH has set apart the Sabbath and wants us to keep it, to rest on this day. A time to reflect, to spend time with YAH and with others, and a time to be restored in a way.

It is so good to have a Sabbath.

Prayer
Father we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Fahter King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tishri 7, 6004 – September 7, 2019

Rest In Place

Today being the first Sabbath of the month, some of us gather to make a statement by standing for those that never will – the unborn. There is an incredible move afoot to control and change the world for a darker place. Ant that effort has permeated so many things. Yet, if we will just try, we can make a difference. We can get ourselves to the place where we have clearer water coming out of the bucket. And that is our hope. We want to rest on the Sabbath, but we will rest in place.

Psalms 115:1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone, You alone, You alone are KING. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it overflow. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and from those that plot evil against us. Lead us away from temptation. Let Your glory come. Let Your power come. Restore all the strength, all the substance, all the provision, all the good that has been taken of held back in any way from Your people, and that one thousandfold. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Elul 29, 6004 – August 31, 2019

Resting The Heart

Today is the Sabbath. Depending on which calendar you might be following, this is the last daylight period before the beginning of the seventh month. If that is true, then we are about to embark on the time when Yeshuah was born. All that said, our Father is and has always been all about the heart. Being with Him is about serving Him from the inside. I cannot speak for others, but for me it makes me want to seriously consider that inner part of me. I want to have a heart that can be at rest on the Sabbath. To that end, this is a scripture I have chosen to say outloud, and even to sing, to my Father.

Psalms 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Thank You, Father.

Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Elul 22, 6004 – August 24, 2019

Listening To Learn

We are always in the process of listening. We are either listening to someone talk, we are listening to the voices in our head, or we are listening to ourselves talk. Hearing is important because when we hear, it gets into us. There is a hidden and important message in the scriptures relating to what we hear. It has to do with the word “rhema” which is translated “word” or “thing” but means an utterance spoken. See how this is key to understanding these scriptures.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And when the angel spoke with Mary, he said “no thing” or literally, “nothing spoken”. Mary’s response was “according to what you said”.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

And lastly, we have Paul telling us that Moses told us how to get to the spoken words of God,

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

And then Paul told us further that the our faith comes from hearing something spoken.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So it is important to do what we can to make sure we hear what YAH is saying. And He gave us that power in our mouths to be able to hear Him, and do the right things, to follow His Law, the path before us.

Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. Restore Your provisions that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Elul 15, 6004 – August 17, 2019

Simplicity Works

There are times when simplicity is a good way to go. This is one of those days. At service, we received some insights about the Pharisees. In particular, we were encouraged to see what Yeshuah was trying to say to them. One particular point being made was to not be one that points the finger. It reminded me of one of my favorite scriptures.

Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Let us be humble and seek our Father continually.

Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good and all the goods that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.
