Day 7 – Yom Sha-bat

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 30, 6005 – February 13, 2021

Heart And Soul Into Rest

This morning there is a white blanket that remains on the back yard and forest. We are experiencing this season’s coldest temperatures to date. It can give a person an opportunity to pause and reflect. It certainly does me. I think of the troubles of the day, and the challenges they bring to mind. We humans are frail. We can try to do all we can do to correct our errors, but in the end, it our Father who makes all things right. He is our King. He is the Creator that made all things. He is the Creator that made the Sabbath, and we are His.

1 John 3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Praise YAH!

Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the wealth and prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 23, 6005 – February 6, 2021

Rest With Hope

Today as I rest in the Shabbat, I have a hope. My hope is for the day that will come when I have overcome the thoughts and life around me. A day will come when I can walk in the Messiah’s plan perfectly. Today, I rest, and think of YAH’s work in me.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 16, 6005 – January 30, 2021

Rest With The World

Today is a very good day to reach out to the world around us with a message of hope and love. It only takes a commitment to be the person that will take the time to be the one that actually does take the time. It is easy to just walk on by. But we are meant to rest. We can reach out to those that need our help when we feel like being a part of spreading the word about the kingdom.

Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Today, let us reach out and heal on the Sabbath, and minister to one another.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your Kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 9, 6005 – January 23, 2021

Finally I Rest

Today I made an effort not to think too much and it was difficult. I wanted to make it all day without my care for anything. It worked a little. But there were still moments of struggle. I just want to rest with my Dad and hang out.

Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We need You now, my King. We need You now. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Shevat 2, 6005 – January 16, 2021

Rest In Understanding

There is a certain rest in understanding. But it seems likely that the rest comes first. This is because It is from resting in YAH, trusting when things are in the moment and the future is not set, that we can best find understanding. When we are willing to receive the understanding, when we are at rest truly, we can see more than just what we have already scene or imagined. Rest occurred for YAH once the foundation of all things had been laid.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Let’s rest.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAHUAH! Let Your kigdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Send in quickly Your abundant financial provision that all men might know that You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Show me the mysteries and secrets. Reveal to me the fish with the coin. I love You! I love You! You are my King! We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tevet 24, 6005 – January 9, 2021

Resting And Hope

We all have a sense of our existence. By that I mean we each have a path we are on, even if the direction may seem obscure at times. If we can step back and look at our lives like an outsider, we can “see” what we are doing. YAH has a plan for each of us, and is always there to help us with our travels. He is our king and never fails to lift us up. We want to be close to Him. Part of that closeness requires us to be where He is doing what He is doing. Our Messiah spoke about this.

Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

It is my belief that He was in the temple on the Sabbath. Many believe this. He was resting on the Sabbath. Perhaps a more interesting question for those of us that are parents is where was He for at least the three days that is recorded that they searched? At twelve, that would be an accomplishment today.

Let me make this point. YAH, our Father, has a plan and purpose for us. He clearly means for us to rest with Him and be learning on the Sabbath. The more time we spend with Him, the better we will understand His plan for our lives.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Send in quickly the overflowing financial provision that we might overflow to those around us. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tevet 17, 6005 – January 2, 2021

Structured Rest

It is interesting to see that there is a certain structure to rest. We see this in the way YAH first expressed the Sabbath. It had reason and purpose.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Send in quickly the overwhelming abundance of financial blessing. We ask all these things of You Father King. And we ask that you confound the works of our enemies. We ask all this in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tevet 10, 6005 – December 26, 2020

Letting Go

Often I have heard it said that we should let go. That is fine. But it seems that for me this is more than a release from exhaustion. It is an actual intentional effort to shove the “me” away from me and be open to YAH and His will and ways. This means I take an active part in the change, which is a good thing I suggest.

Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil. Confound the plans against me, and destroy and confuse those writings against me such that no evil befalls me. Bring forth Your mercy, Father, for now man shall stand lest You hold them up. Send in quickly the financial prosperity and restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, Father. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuaha HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Tevet 3, 6005 – December 19, 2020

Happy To Rest

We are happy to be here, right? In the state of rest, we get to be with YAH, our Dad. He is so cool! He makes the world for us.

Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let the kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Kislev 26, 6005 – December 12, 2020

Rest And Peace

Clearly a day of rest should also have peace within it. It is also a good time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Amen.
