Waiting And Trusting
We all from time to time get the chance to learn first hand some life lesson that we see in the scriptures. Recently I had the opportunity to learn about trusting in God. There are a number of things in my life that I would like to change. Although I have asked for these things to change at various times in my walk, and they changed some, mostly these few things did not change. After our bible study on the “LORD of hosts” phrase in the bible, I felt a renewed desire for change. I cried out to Yahuah (Lord) in prayer in the middle of the night and again the next morning. Now one day later one of those things that I have prayed for change about many times has changed. God changes things, if we will trust in Him and wait for Him to move in our lives. We see this in scripture.
Zechariah 2:1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.
7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.
Here we see that in His own time, Yahuah (Lord) is planning to deliver His people and return them to the land. We are His people. He is restoring His people today. If You are seeking deliverance from something, cry out to Yahuah (Lord) today, asking in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name that He would grant You deliverance. Then trust in Him and watch Him work!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High King! We offer up thanks and praise to the name Yahuah (Lord). You alone are worthy to be praised. We ask that today You send Your overwhelming provision. We ask that You forgive us for our sins, for we have sinned against You only. Heal our hearts and minds. Let Your healing power sweep in and heal us from the inside through to the outside. Deliver us from the evil that would tempt us. Deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what You have given to us. Crush them to powder and spread them in the whirlwind that all men might know that You alone have done this, that You alone, Yahuah (Lord), are the One True God. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Simply Amazing
Today as I was driving to work the thought of how God holds everything together. This will be one of those times when I just leave you with a scripture that speaks of the wonders created by our God, Yahuah (Lord).
Psalm 139:1 O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High. You Alone are worthy to be praised We praise and give thanks to Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Send us Your provision. Heal and deliver us. Help us to always know Your name. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Scriptures For Long Days
Today was a very good, but a very long day. On a day like today, I am very thankful that God blesses us so. I would like to just leave you all with a a scripture to read and consider.
Psalms 3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Thank You for today. We praise the name of Yahuah. Send us Your provision. Forgive us for our transgressions. Heal us and deliver us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen. Amen.

Welcome Home
It is not often that I take business trips, but I just returned lat night from a few days away. It was good to see my family and catch up. It is like that with our relationship with our God. He always welcomes us with open arms. Not that we should ever take time away from Him. Vacationing from God is not a good thing. But we still have that longing to be with Him within us.
Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
This returning to God can be when we awake in the morning. It can be whenever we take that special moment to consider Him. Yeshua (Jesus) said He only did what He saw the Father doing. When we take these moments to reflect on what Yahuah (Lord) is doing, we can have those coming home moments. And of course, when we do sin, we can always return to Him as well. He truly loves us with perfect love. Today is a good day for returning home.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. We praise the name of Yahuah (Lord). Let Your kingdom reign in the earth. Raise up Your ambassadors. Give us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us for our transgressions. By You we can be healed. Heal us, Yahuah (Lord). Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have given to us. Cut them off and destroy their works. Let all men know that You alone are our God. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Thoughts About Being Double Minded
Waking up this morning I had a vision of a parent reaching down to pick up a baby to hold them and feed them from a bottle. It seemed to me that God was saying to me that He was having to feed me milk. I was reminded of a few scriptures when I saw this.
1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Here we see Peter saying to move away from evil in our speech and actions and to abandon hypocrisy, moving toward being set apart spiritually. When we allow ourselves to move away from what our Father has commanded us to do, we can become hypocrites. How sad it is if we allow ourselves to speak badly of our fellow believers because they see things differently than we do. These things ought not to be. God has provided a way out of these situations.
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
If we will continue to cry out to our God Yahuah (Lord) and ask Him for the wisdom we need to overcome temptations, He will provide it if we trust Him to do it. In these moments when we sin (if we are not following God’s commands in any way, it is sin) if we believe we cannot seek and obtain forgiveness, then we do not trust God. If we think we have to “get it together” for God to forgive us, then we do not trust God to do the work in us. This should not be misunderstood to mean that we go willy-nilly to God without true repentance and sorrow for our sin. It does mean that if we know in our hearts to do right and do not do it, His law written in our hearts (the new covenant) will convict us of sin. In our sadness for the sin, if we call out to Him, He and He alone will forgive us. We must trust Him to so do.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are the One we desire to be our King. We praise and exalt Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Give us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us of our sin, whether they be many or few. Heal us from our hurts. Deliver us from the evil that tries to take from us what You alone have given to us. Guide us and keep us in Your ways. We love You. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

We Are Built For Praise
Our Father is full of mercy and grace towards His people, toward us. He loves us and cares for us. We know that when we sleep, He watches over us.
We see hear that David trusted in Yahuah (Lord) even in the middle of battle. Even there David knew He could lay down to sleep and God had his back through the night. Imagine knowing that even on the battlefield we have the ultimate protection! It is clear to me that David had an attitude toward Yahuah (Lord) that caused him to praise Yahuah (Lord) and His name at all times. David said that Yahuah’s (Lord’s) song was with him even in the night.
Psalms 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
Last night in my dreams I began to praise Yahuah (Lord). This is interesting because I am not gifted with a good singing voice. Even more interesting was the fact that I actually physically began to sing while I was yet asleep. After a few verses I woke myself up and I was still singing. I stopped and sat up to see if I had awakened my wife, but she was still asleep. In that moment I felt the great comfort that Yahuah (Lord) is to us. I knew He was watching over us. We are built to praise Yahuah (Lord).

Psalms 134
1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
Today, I had a friend that was going through great struggle today. We spent much time together talking on the phone. I was saddened that he was in a troubling situation. It caused me to call out to our God, Yahuah (Lord), on his behalf.
If you know someone struggling today, pray for them, and reach out to comfort them.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy to be praised. We love You, and we exalt the name Yahuah (Lord) above all names. Send us Your overwhelming provision today. You alone are worthy to be praised. Heal us and help the poor and needy, the down trodden in life. Give them Your peace, and deliver them from the evil in this world. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Alters Of Earth
In scripture there are some interesting points made about our God blessing us. One of those is in Exodus. The children of Israel have come out of Egypt, being delivered mightily by God. God called them a kingdom of priests.
Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
At the end of three days of purification, the people approached the mountain where Yahuah (Lord) appeared in smoke. He spoke the ten commandments to them there. He also spoke of blessing them.
Exodus 20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Today, that alter of earth is us. People were made from the dust of the earth by God at creation. When we keep the Passover (not Easter) we create place where God records His name, that memorial, that mark for God.
Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Exodus 13:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.
5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
God wants us to commit our hearts to Him. We are the alter and the living sacrifice all in one.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We can enjoy the blessing of Yahuah (Lord) our God, for He is our Father and loves us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High King. You alone are our Creator. We love You, and long to be with You in Your kingdom here on earth. We praise Your name, Yahuah, the name above all names. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing and provision. Forgive us our transgressions. Heal us and our land. Deliver us from the evil here. Deliver us from those that would steal what You alone have given unto us. Guide us in Your ways. Show us a sign for good. Your name Yahuah (Lord) is recorded with us, and we call to You to bring Your great blessings here. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Another New Day
This morning as I look out at the snow covered forest, I am encouraged by the plan God has for our life. Every day is a new day with God. We can move forward in confidence knowing that He cares for us and will give us yet another opportunity for a good life. He loves us and has only our good in mind.
Lamentations 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Our God, Yahuah (Lord) has a new plan for us every morning. His plan is for blessings for us, and not for curses.
Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Every day our God resets the clock for us. He makes all things new. He separates us from our sin, and raises us up out of the dust.
Psalms 113:7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
Today, let’s rejoice in our King and praise His name, Yahuah (Lord)!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We will serve You with all that is in us, longing for Your kingdom here on the earth. Send us Your abundant provision today, Yahuah (Lord). Forgive us our trespasses. We need You. You alone are our help. Deliver us from all evil. Heal Your people today. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Helping Those In Need
As I began to write this I thought about the word need. What is a need, really? Life is a struggle because we are human and humans are pulled in many directions. What one person sees as a need another person sees as a want or desire. One thing is clear. God does provide for our needs.
Phillipians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The word for need here implies lack or even employment. Our God is all about making sure we have what we need from day to day. If we will put Him first, we can have a joy filled life.
Matthew 6: 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
If we can find a way to trust in God, we can make it.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Let Your kingdom be upon the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal us and deliver us. In Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) name. Amen.
