Needing The Truth

As believers we base our lives from what we see in scripture, or at least we attempt to so do. We can go through life without taking note closely at what our Father is trying to communicate. But if we can be still and listen, He will reveal to us what He is trying to communicate. He never fails to do that with us. And He brings to pass what He speaks to us.

Psalms 29:1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

This stopping to listen helps us to remain humble and on His path. We need Him and His majesty. We need Him to help us not go astray from His ways. We need His guidance. It is He alone that sustains us.

Psalms 4:3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

This morning I had another confirmation of this in the form of a miraculous healing. Previously I wrote about the leg cramps I woke up with two days in a row. This morning I woke up with one of those cramps in my leg. This time I did not rub it. This time I spoke to it and touched it saying, “Shalom to this leg in the name of Yeshuah. Praise Yahuah.” I knew that Yahuah would make my leg whole, healing me. In a few minutes, the cramp completely disappeared. It was a miracle.

Yahuah is trying to speak to us these days in these times. There is much noise in the air, and much noise to distract us if we let it. We must remain vigilant to hear our Father when He speaks to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. It is good to have You as our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision, such that we can bless others. Forgive us our sins. Help us to remain on Your path. Heal our hearts and minds from so many past hurts. Deliver us from the evil that is all around us, and help us to be whole again, or maybe for the first time. We want to learn to dwell with You. We love You. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

When Hope Glimmers

We are created in the image of our Creator. Sometimes it is good to remember this point. There can be times in our lives when we can become overwhelmed with life’s circumstances. For me, it happens when I wake up. For some, it may happen during the work day. Still others may react to communications like the mail or the phone. When that moment arrives, what can we do? One thing that I have found helpful is to begin to praise the name of Yahuah (Lord) and call out to Him. David did this.

Psalms 18:3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

For some time now I have noticed that I have a tendency to rely on Psalms for encouragement and understanding when I am trying to encourage myself and others. Paul also says this to us.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Recently as I was going through this one morning, I noticed that in the process of doing this there would come a turning point. In the beginning there would be that sense of being overwhelmed. It drove me more to focus on the words of praise to Yahuah (Lord) that I was speaking. As the intensity grew, there came a point where the negatives diminished and the reality of who my Creator was began to sink in and immediately that gap widened. We all have these moments if we think about it. When that hits, it is as if those thoughts have texture. They become very real. I like to call them that glimmer of hope, that moment when I realize that my Creator Yahuah (Lord) is not only bigger than anything else, He is on my side.

Today, if you find yourself in one of those moments that seem overwhelming, cry out to Yahuah (Lord) and praise His name. Hang in for that glimmer of hope.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our Great King. We praise Your name, Yahuah (Lord). We imagine Your kingdom and are most blessed. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Forgive us our sins, for we are but dust. Heal up our hearts from the pains of the past. Deliver us from those that would steal from us what You alone have provided. How long will they oppress us, O Yahuah (Lord), and try to eliminate Your people? Come with a strong hand and outstretched arm and crush the works of their hands. Drive them away. Show Yourself strong on our behalf. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Visions Of The Skies

This morning I woke several times early to fight spiritual battles. As I cried out to Yahuah to praise His name and cry for assistance, it came. Peace came. And a vision came. In this vision I saw a long divided highway where cars had stopped on the side of the road, some partly on the road, and spaced out. It was not as if it had been rush hour when everyone stopped. Then I saw people, some couples, standing near the right side of the road looking into the sky. I did not look there, but I could see they were mesmerized by something, and I was impressed that there were many lights in what they were looking up at at that moment. One couple was near a guard rail of a slight rise, but not like a major bridge. As I asked Yahuah what this was, a very blank large white object with angles but no specific geometric shape zoomed from the sky through where the couple had been standing. I was startled and it seemed as though I jumped back. When I looked again, they were gone with no sign of the object.

As I prayed about this vision I wanted to know what this was. Should I make preparation for some disaster? It was then that I felt God telling me that it was not a completely literal vision. There are times coming when people will be drawn to signs in the sky. Those signs will lead to some no longer going back to driving down the road. The road was a good road, though not many were on it. The road was not destroyed. In the end, I believe He was telling me we must stay on the road and avoid distraction. We can trust Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King, and the King of all the universe and beyond. We bless Your name Yahuah. We ask You send today Your overwhelming provision. We love You. Please forgive us our sins. We are weak vessels and need You. We need Your healing. We need Your deliverance from the evil that is in this world stealing the lives and possessions that You have given to Your people. Come with a strong hand and outstretched arm, Yahuah. Come deliver us Your people. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

At The End Of The Day

There is always good news for the people of God. The good news is that there is ultimately an end. At the end, our Father is waiting for us with open arms. Our Messiah is waiting for us with open arms. Our God never fails. We must traverse this life through the trials, and those trials have a purpose. They work patience in us.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

This teaching us patience is not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is that we lack nothing.

James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

So, we might ask, how can that be? It is true because we have many promises regarding faith in God being a powerful force in meeting our needs. And the faith here has two parts. Belief and trust.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We see here in verse six that we must not only believe that God exists, but that He is on our side. It is that faith that pleases God. It is that same faith that is embedded in the many scriptures where people cried out to Yahuah (Lord) and He responded with deliverance. It was that faith that caused the children of Israel, as slaves in Egypt, to sacrifice the Passover and expect God to deliver smite the firstborn of all not marked by the blood of the sacrificed lamb, and to deliver them as free the next day. If we stop to think about what it took to both believe and act on that belief as slaves at that time, it was significant.

Today as I ponder my life and the trials of my faith, I realize that I need to strive to have that same commitment. It is important for me to believe that Yahuah (Lord) is watching over me and that He will reward me for trusting in Him. At the end of the day, what is it that man can do to us other than what is temporary? Nothing. But we know that our position with the Father is eternal. He wants to care for us in this life, and in forever future as well. Praise Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We ask that You hear us today. We ask that You hear us when we bless and praise the name Yahuah (Lord). It is Your kingdom we live for here, for You alone are our King. We need You and we need Your love. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. We need it now. Forgive us our sins. We struggle as humans to follow You at all times. Our minds are bombarded on all sides with the evil of this world, and our hearts are made heavy. Heal up our hearts. Deliver us from the bondage that is around us. Deliver us from those that would steal all that You alone have provided. Hear us when we cry out. Heal and deliver Your people today. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

The Truth Is Coming

Today as I thought about how so many people have so many messages, I wanted to scream, “Enough!” There are so many pulpits tied to so many mortgages and so many years of mortgaged dreams, that the slaves line up to be beaten again. “Enough!” My God is becoming weary of those that oppress the poor. My God is becoming angry with the “shepherds” that fleece the flock. The day of Yahuah’s vengeance on behalf of the poor, the fatherless, and the needy, is rapidly approaching.

Psalms 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Yet, He is merciful. He is calling our nation, yes, and the world, to turn to Him, Yahuah Tsavaot (Lord of hosts), and He will again turn to us.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

How long, o men of evil desperation, will you plot against the poor and the widow? How long will you eek out a luxurious existence on the backs of the downtrodden? How long will you attempt to blot out the name of His chosen?

The name of Yahuah will stand in eternity, long after any remembrance of those that steal hope from His people is less than dust.

Beware. Yahuah is watching, and will soon rise up to defend His people.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King. Let Your kingdom reign in this earth. We bless the name Yahuah! Send today Your overwhelming blessing of provision that we have not enough room to hold it. We are so much less than what we can and should be; please forgive us our sins. Heal us and we will be healed. Deliver us from those that would steal from us. Come with a strong hand and an outstretched arm to smite those that would attempt to blot out Your elect. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Will Overcome

When you wake up in the morning, does your head fill with many thoughts? This morning I had such an experience. In those moments we can get lost in the thoughts, and our day can easily get away from us. On the other hand we can also fight to gain control of our minds by calling out to Yahuah (Lord) for strength and peace. There are really two reasone to do this, I suggest. One is to keep from having a day in which we are overwhelmed. Another is to have a scenario in which we honor Yahuah (Lord) for all He is and all He does for us. He has always said He would watch over His people.

Psalms 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

We are God’s people. He wants us to trust Him. He wants us to walk in His ways. He will be there for us at all times. We need not fear those that would do evil to us, for we are not alone. We have the Creator of the universe on our side.

Prayer
Father, we love Yo and exalt You. You alone are our King. We long for You to be in our lives, ruling with Your kingdom around us. We join with all the saints and praise the name Yahuah. You alone are worthy. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us for our sins. We need Your love in our lives, Your protection in our lives, Your healing in our lives, and Your deliverance in our lives from those that would steal from us what You have provided. Come to us. We bless the name Yahuah. We ask and do all these things in the name of Yeshua (Jesus). Amen.

What We Do In Love

The actions we take have impact on others. We are all believers that name the name of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). However, we may still need to create certain distances between us and others that make bad choices.

1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

I do not see these as anything but love. If we find ourselves doing them in anger, then we need to repent. We should do this distancing with weeping, always willing to receive back those that turn back to Yahuah (Lord).

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

We must be a set apart (holy) people. That does not mean we are to be hateful to others. We must at all times remain an example of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), loving those that hate us, while we continue to do what is right, walking in the commands of our King.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We bless the name of Yahuah! We love You and Your kingdom. We ask that You send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and our minds. Deliver us from this world’s temptations and from those that would steal from us what You alone have provided. We ask these things in Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

When The Herald Calls

In our world God has appointed people to speak out. Perhaps He has appointed everyone to speak out, but I do not know that. I do know that some are called to herald to the rest of creation the coming of certain activities in the earth. Before we think that these people are somehow special or other than human, we should look at what scriptures say about these people.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Many have said that the position of prophet is somehow special in that the person in that position must be “super spiritual” or something. Scriptures tend to say otherwise. We see here in James that Elijah was human like all of us – a “man of like passions” – and yet miracles happened when he prayed. He had struggles in this life with his carnal or physical self. He faced these challenges like the rest of us, and wrestled with them. But he did not stop praying. He did not listen to any voices that told him he was worthless and that he might as well stop praying. Why? He believed in Yahuah (Lord) and that his God Yahuah (Lord) was the King over all.

Today, as we face challenges, let us not forget who we serve, Yahuah (Lord). He is the One True King over all.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We praise and bless the name Yahuah. Let this earth receive Your kingdom now. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. We need You. We need Your healing touch. We need Your deliverance from all that is around us that is evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. We ask this now in the name of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Amen.

Long Days End Too

We all experience very long days from time to time. Lately mine seem to be longer than ever. I am praying for Yahuah to give me an income that will allow me to not have to work so many hours that I might study Torah more. Here is a verse to that end.

Psalms 3:3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

If we can remember that our Father is always there and will take care of us, we can rest in knowing that He will provide that we might follow Him and learn of His ways.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We need Your kingdom. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal and deliver us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Great Truths

We believers are a most fortunate people. Imagine being turned loose in a foreign land. THere are few things around you that look familiar, and you seem alone. The language and customs of the land are far different from what you had hoped. Then suddenly you receive a collection of writings and letters that are really an invitation from the King of the land. He has been away on a journey for some time and He has given you this written material that You might stand out from others. It contains detailed instructions from Him that if you follow them will not only cause you to stand out, but will mark you as His ambassador, with all of the accompanying benefits and challenges. That is us, the King is our Father Yahuah (Lord), and He has given us the Torah and other scriptures for that very purpose.

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Today, as I go about my daily routine, I will be thinking about this passage. Yahuah (Lord) loves us, His people, and is always prepared to give us what we need. He is always prepared to defend us and keep us for Himself.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our One True King. The whole creation cries out for Your kingdom to be returned to our land. We praise Your name Yahuah (Lord). Send us now Your overwhelming provision, manifested to the full. Forgive us our failures to do as You have asked. Lead us and guide us onto You paths of mercy, truth, wisdom, and understanding. Heal our hearts. We are saddened by the evil. Deliver us and the land from the evil. Deliver us with a strong hand and outstretched arm from those that would take from us what You have provided that all men might know that it is You alone that has done these things. We ask all this in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
