Stand Up For Truth
Recently a friend of mine encountered someone that wanted him to water down what he believed. The person wanted my friend to go with what the crowd believed. It does bring up a good question. In this situation, both of these people are believers. What does scripture say when there is a disagreement among believers?
Psalms 133
A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
How should my friend resolve this issue? Uncertain. It is important for sure. But is it more important than unity? What should the unity be about? Here are the challenges that he faces, and I suggest, we all face. We must be true to our Father Yahuah (Lord). We must be true to the truth.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! We praise the name Yahuah! Help us find the way to bring the kingdom to this earth, just as it is in the heavens. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. We need you desperately. Help us find unity. Help us find You. Restore unto Your people truth, that the kingdom might go forth. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Little And Much
Today as I was trying to complete a number of chores before the day began, I thought about the little amount of time it takes to weed my little garden. It is about 25 feet by about 6 feet, so definitely I do not appear in the ranks of a farmer. Although it is a small area, I had let the weeds go. Given I had fertilized it courtesy of my chickens, the weeds were getting big. But in about 10 – 15 minutes I had weeded 25-30% of it. As I watered the garden, I thought about how little amount of time that was in the grand scheme of things. If I really went after my garden and the dilapidated fountain, a day would get the whole thing really looking good. The problem I have had of late is all the time I have been committing to getting things at work complete. Then I remembered a scripture.
Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
We are required to work diligently at all we do. If we slack off in the little things, what makes us think we will come through in the bigger things in life? They are not any easier. They will require work and perseverence. Our Father blesses the work of our hands – everything we do according to His commands.
Deuteronomy 28:8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
And again, in another scripture.
Deuteronomy 30:8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
In the end, we must pursue all that our Father gives to us. He will work out the details. We need only trust in Him and be diligent to do what is set before us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Use us to produce Your will in this earth, just like Your angels produce Your will in the heavens. Give to us today Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it all. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Rise up and strike our enemies that they may release what they hold. Pour out a blessing even greater than at the Exodus upon Your people. Turn today the hearts of the kings before our eyes that they would receive and bless us abundantly beyond what we ask or think. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Leading the Way
We believers, we are an imperfect army of followers of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). He is our Leader, and none beside Him. And yet, in this earth, we are called to lead ourselves, our families, and at times, other believers. It is easy to confuse this with what mankind has established as structure and organization. The point here is, our Father sets up the leadership He wants to see in this earth, and He makes that leadership work. If we believe we do anything of our own power, we err. Without our Father we can do nothing.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
We are empowered by our Father. It is He that helps us back to the path when we stray. It is He that gave us life, and continues to so do. Even our Messiah said this, as an example to us.
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
We have opportunity to do good. When we follow His leading, we will do good. When we follow the leading of our flesh, likely not so much. The goal of life is to never give up the battle within us to intend and then do that which the Father has commanded, trusting in Him to make up the difference when we fail.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King! You alone rule from the heavens. Praise the name Yahuah. Your rule and reign is not limited. Use us to bring Your kingdom to the earth. You alone can do this. You alone can purify our hearts and minds. You alone can show us the path to walk. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision such that we do not have room to contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. rise up King! Rise up and strike the evil that restrains the prosperity of Your people. Show Your truth to us, and show us a sign for good that all men might know that you alone have done this, that You alone are God. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Begin The Beginnings
We need at times to look at life in perspective. Specifically, wherever we are at in life, we can always start to make things better. We do that be realizing a beginning seats as soon as we decide to turn toward our God. It is the turning that is important.
Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
Turn today, before it is too late.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King. We praise the name Yahuah. Let us be Your tools on the earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Heal us up, Father, for we are wounded people. Deliver us from the thief that kills and destroys and steals. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

In The Face
We humans are interesting creatures. We are very much moved in life by circumstances, both good and bad. We think they control us. The truth is, we control them. We are the creators of this reality, not the other way around. It is the job we were given from the beginning.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Let us be a people that sees our true purpose. We are to be images of our Father, moving through the earth, and changing what we see. We impact reality with our thoughts, words and deeds.
Let’s impact reality for our Father, Yahuah!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Your have the heavens to declare Your works. Let us declare Your works among men. Let us be used of You today to show Your power and strength. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Let our mission be fully subscribed today. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our wounded heart, minds, and bodies. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people today one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Show us a sign for good Father, that all men might know that You have done and You alone are God. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

How Do We Ever Catch Up?
Today as I sit in the boutique coffee shop gazing out at yet another beautiful sunlit day on the patio just outside, I am in awe of our Father. Time after time I have found Him to be doing an amazing job of completing a work that He has begun, bringing in solutions from unknown sources. When I observe these things happening, I wonder at how I will ever catch up. How can I do enough to deserve these amazing solutions He has provided? The answer is, I cannot. No one can. Only God has such answers, and He wants to provide them.
Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
The point is, He is in charge and wants to help us. And help us He will. Al we have to do is make Him our place of refuge and run to Him.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Bless the name Yahuah. Let Your kingdom arise here through us. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people One hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Only Believe
Our Father is always about the job of teaching us His children. Like any good father, our Father wants only the best for us. The question for us is, how do we access the best of anything? The answer is, through faith.
Mark 11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
We are told here that we must believe and not doubt. If we do not doubt, we can have anything we ask for in prayer. An interesting point here is that Peter was speaking about when Yeshuah (Jesus) spoke to the tree and it was dead, and Yeshuah (Jesus) responded with how to pray. What is unclear to me is if Yeshuah was saying that speaking is the same as praying. Either way, it is clear that we must believe. This was born out in another example from our Messiah.
Mark 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
Here a person was dead, yet the Messiah encouraged the father of the child to not have fear, but rather to only believe. Those that had no faith laughed at the Messiah’s comments. Yeshuah was speaking life, and He was speaking from the ability to see the ways of Yahuah, not just the acts. The end result is all the doubters were put away from His presence. Only those that believed, those that had faith, were allowed to be near Him when He spoke in the Spirit and raised the child from the dead.
As we face the trials in our life, we need to remember to not doubt, and to only believe.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We need You in our lives, and we need You in our hearts and minds. Use us to bring Your will to pass on the earth, Praise the name Yahuah. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts, minds, and bodies that we might serve You. Rise up, Father, and strike down the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Are Either In Or Not
Over the last 40 days I have had some opportunity to consider how we respond to our lives. There is something that takes place that is difficult for me to describe. It is the ability to see life as something that we ride upon, not something that engulfs us and moves us around like chess pieces on a board. With that perspective, we can begin to grasp how our Father moves – the ways of God. This is what the Psalmist wrote.
Psalms 103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
Moses was able to “see” God’s ways in life. He saw that it is our Father that was in control. The children of Israel saw themselves as being controlled, unable to have impact. This latter approach can result in our feeling overwhelmed, even potentially giving up. So, how do we get to the place Moses was?
Likely it is different for each person. Moses had his own struggles initially. He expressed many doubts.
Exodus 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
Moses did not argue with God about whether on not He was God. He believed Him that He was God. Moses just did not understand that God was on his side and would be victorious for him. Once God showed Moses His power, Moses was able to make a decision. That decision that God exists and is on our side was settled for Moses and it was that decision that helped Moses not to view life as happening to him but something in which he had a part of determining the outcome. And that outcome was determined by our Father, Yahuah.
Today, let’s be like Moses and decide we are in!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be with us as it is in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and our minds. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been stolen or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Helping Others
A friend of mine has a rather large project he is working on completing. As he told me about it, it seemed a bit overwhelming to me. But he keeps going, no matter what. To me, that is impressive. What he told me was how important it is to help others. He believes that by helping others, it builds stronger relationships. It is this community of relationships that makes this so powerful. I agree, I think. The scriptures seem to support the idea of the importance of community.
Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Today, let us work toward helping each other.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom reign within us and around us. Send us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds, that we might better serve You. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people abundance that has been held back or stolen. Quickly send Your provision. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Every Day Is A Winning Opportunity
We were meant to win. Some people agree with this. Others have concern for such statements. Today, as I consider this idea. I am reminded of the many scriptures that speak to us of hope and victory. These same scriptures seem to indicate we are meant to find our way to victory through our Father.
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Reading this scripture I am reminded of how many of us don’t quite get to the day and night part. We may focus on our Father at one or more times during the day, but not day and night. Today, this had been a revelation for me. I will begin to focus on His Law day and night.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let us experience Your kingdom here. Send us now Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken, and even more than was ever possessed by Your people. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
