Justice Reigns In The End

Last night at fellowship several people were in situations where their lives were challenged by what was going on around them. As I listened I thought about me and my family and the challenges we are facing at the moment. We too are faced with the challenges of finances and health and other things. But as I listened I realized that I had gained something for my recent struggles. Yahuah has been teaching me how to win the spiritual battles for the thought life. It is the thought life that drives the rest of our lives. There is also a connection to the heart that I do not fully understand. But I believe the thoughts, if they are controlled, will generate an ability to trust Yahuah to do the things He said He would do. Yahuah has been teaching me to speak out loud when I am attacked in my mind. And He has been showing me his grace and His mercy when I fail to do the things He would have me to do.

Psalms 25:The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great
12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

We can be thankful that in the end, justice always reigns.

Father, we love and exalt You. We need Your kingdom here. Blessed be the name Yahuah. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. In Yeshua’s name. Amen.

God Always Responds

Many people have asked questions if it is okay to ask God for something specific. Great question. My answer is, I think so, but there may be more parameters to consider. I have had God do miraculous things many times for me when I was in dire straits and made a specific request, and even with general requests. These days I have been asking Yahuah (Lord) that very question because as I get older, I am really trying to follow the path He lays before us, trying to get it right at the end. This I do know, when I ask for help in a spiritual battle, He has never said no. Just last night I woke up under a spiritual attack from the enemy with thoughts in my mind. As he tried to overwhelm me I cried out to Yahuah for help and sang praises to the name Yahuah. After a bit He responded with a vision of a building of some size with an open door. I was near the door standing next to an old pickup truck. out from the door flowed the glory of Yahuah in the form of a beautiful mist that covered the ground knee deep. It soon surrounded me and everything anywhere close. The attack was gone.

Psalms 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

If we will thank Yahuah (Lord) and praise His name, He will defend us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Bless the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom reign. Send us today overwhelming provision. Let not Your people be put to the streets and begging for bread. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from the evil that would steal what You have provided. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name we ask these things. Amen.

Lest We Forget

For some reason, my post did not go through Thursday. To my faithful readers, forgive me. I was using my new iPad and I guess I need to read the instructions. Here is a good psalm for those that have time to read this post.

Psalm 29:1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.
11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Father we exalt You. Please forgive us when we miss the mark. Send us Your provision. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Thoughtful And Thankful

This morning Yahuah (Lord) gave me several visions. They are not meant to be shared here, but in general they left me with a feeling of sadness, ans ultimately thankfulness. The sadness was for the evil that is done in our country, and in countries around the world. It seems we have become so wrapped up in our own ways of doing things that we have forgotten that God has His ways and plans for us. It is both sobering and saddening to ponder. It reminds me of a scripture.

Ezekiel 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;
4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Our God looks for those that mourn for their cities for the evil that is done in them. He looks for those that love Jerusalem, that love salvation (Yeshua). It was in this that I give thanks. I know for myself and many that I know, there is a true sadness for the state of things in the earth. Yahuah gives us the ability to cry out to Him and seek His mercy. He hears us when we cry out for change. And He loves His whole creation. Thanks be to Yahuah (Lord)!

Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King. Let Your kingdom be upon this earth. We praise Your name, Yahuah! Send us Your abundant provision, in its fullness and complete manifestation, today, Father. Heal us and heal the land. Deliver us from the evil around us. Deliver us with a strong hand and outstretched arm from those that would take from us what You have provided. Crush their evil doings in this. Rise up, O King, rise up and defend Your people now. We ask these things in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Thankful For Victory

Faced with battles everyday, we can win or lose them largely based upon our willingness to just show up. That is not said lightly as we all know how difficult life can seem. But it is important to remember that much of what we battle is in our minds. There is only what is immediately around us in our reality. The rest is in our minds. But our Father in heaven knows this and has provided a way of escape and victory.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Here we see we can overcome the battles in our mind. But how do we do that?

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Here we see that Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah cleanses us by His word. The Greek word here for “word” is “rhema” which means something uttered (spoken). When we call out to God, He speaks to us and we get the benefit of His washing us and our minds clean. There is also the power we have to fight back the same way, through our speaking.

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The saved here means wholeness and applies to everything about us. Today we can be thankful that God has given us the power to fight back and win our hearts and minds back for Him, and He will help if we ask. Praise Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King and we long for Your kingdom on this earth. Praise and thanks to the name Yahuah! We love You. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing that we cannot contain. Forgive us our sins and heal us up. Deliver us from the darkness that wants to consume what You have provided. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name we ask these things. Amen.

Returning

We have amazing opportunity with our heavenly Father. He not only wants us to be with Him in eternity, He also wants us to live a good life in His presence while here on this earth. He looks for us to return to Him.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Our Father knows we go astray. He wants us to come back He has provided for that way.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) is the way to the Father. Our Father, Yahuah (Lord), has been and will always be merciful unto us. We need only turn to Him to be restored. We can be thankful that He is and always will be there with open arms when we turn to Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us Your overwhelming blessing such that we cannot contain it. We need Your forgiveness for our sin. Please remember that we are human and frail. We love You and need You. We long for Your kingdom. Heal us. Deliver us from the darkness that would steal from us what You have given. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Where To Look

Today we had interesting interactions with our daughter. She was consistently complaining about what she did not have that other kids in her school had. My wife and talked about her attitude and what was going on with her. We saw that how adults act is something that she picks up. It also caused us to think about ourselves and how we act. We have things to be thankful for, if we know where to look.

We can be thankful for our Father who watches over us. He defends us. He cares for us.

Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise Your name Yahuah! Send us Your overwhelming provision. You are our Deliverer. Forgive us our sins. Heal us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Welcome Home

We are fortunate in this life to have a place to call home. By the time I was 21 years old I had moved 22 times. The result was I never felt like I was “home” as most people refer to it. Here as a believer later in life, I find that to be an advantage because this is not our home.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

We see here that we have no continuing city, which in the Greek means hometown to reside in or home. Really, our “home”, that sense of comfort and rest, is in Yahuah (Lord). As it says in verse 15, we are to praise continually the name Yahuah (Lord) which is God’s name. He is our King and we offer thanks to Him at all times.

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Prayer
Father, we praise and exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise and thank the name Yahuah. You are our Elohim (God). Send us today Your overwhelming blessing of provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and our souls which cry out for You. Deliver us from the darkness that would take from us what You have given to us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

This morning I was the first one up. We have a new dog in the house, a two year old female Rottweiler named Sadie (Hebrew for “Princess”). After letting her out I took her upstaits to get our daughter out of bed. She woke up happy and laughing because although Sadie is large, she still acts like a puppy. When the dog and I cam back downstairs I opened the kitchen blinds and looked outside at the grass, green from all the rain. It is a good day.

I mention these things because I was reminded of several scriptures that renewed a sense of thankfulness in me.

Psalms 23: 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Mercy and goodness travel together to be with us always.

Psalms 85:7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Mercy and truth meet together. Our Yahuah (Lord) grants us salvation. Yahuah (Lord) gives us what is good (goodness) and we prosper because out land gives increase. And all of these things are available to us when we turn toward Yahuah (Lord) with a repentent heart.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Our Father in heaven loves us very much. He has made a way for us where there was none. He wants to bestow upon us mercy and truth and goodness for all our days, if we will turn to Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our merciful King. Praise the name Yahuah! You give us truth and goodness. Send us today Your overwhelming abundance. Bless the work of our hands, and cause men to give to us. Forgive us our sins. We turn to You. Turn to us with Your goodness, mercy, and truth. Heal us and we will be healed. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You alone have given. Confound them and their doings. Deliver us with a strong hand and outstretched arm. Shew Yourself strong, Yahuah (Lord), on our behalf. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

God Hears The Humble

This morning I am very thankful about one particular aspect of Yahuah (Lord) our God. He is always willing to bring us back close to Him, even when we have strayed from Him. There are years worth of straying from God told in the recorded events of the scriptures. But our God is always merciful. He always calls us back to Him. We need only humble ourselves before Him.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Here Yahuah told Solomon that if He were to cause bad things to happen because people strayed, if they humbled themselves, prayed, and returned to Him, He would hear and heal them and their land.

Today, if we are facing troubles, we can do the same. Our God never fails. He will hear us and heal our land.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise and thank the name Yahuah. We exalt You. Send us today speedily and in power Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up those among us with broken hearts. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have provided. Guide us today. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
