Thankful For…

There is much to be thankful for today. We have so many blessings and yet often we look past them to the assumed lack in our lives. Perhaps there can be more than this, if we will but be thankful to our Father.

Psalms 145:1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Bless Your name, Yahuah! Send us this day Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up from the inside. deliver us from the thief that is stealing and has stolen from us. Restore to You people all that has been stolen one hundred times one hundred fold, and hundreds of hundreds. Come quickly, O King, and deliver Your people now. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Sad And Happy

Some friends of ours have a young one that is not well. It is unknown what the malady truly is. That can be at times worse than knowing something dramatic. Our minds can work against us. In times like these I ask all my readers to pray for a child named Ari. And I am thankful that we have a healer.

Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Thank you Father for healing Your children and ours.

Father, we exalt you. Hail to the King! We need Your kingdom. Bless the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us. Deliver us from the evil that steals from us till we are naked and destitute. Come quickly to destroy the evil, and restore one hundred times one hundred fold to your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Glad For Change

Imagine a world where nothing ever changed. Everything remained the same. What would that world look like? Certainly not like our world in any way. While we may at times lament that nothing changes in our life, this is not correct. If nothing else, there is the passage of time and we get older. For some, that may well be most of what changes. In that case, we see only what seems to be the same. So then, if we are lamenting the lack of “newness” in our lives, the lack of change, what then? What shall we do? Change. Impact others for God in a positive way. There is a simple parable that speaks to the need for us to actively involved in change.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

As we see this parable, some things are obvious. Both groups of people had the ability and the opportunity to impact the world for the Messiah. One group took care of their fellow man, and one did not. One group took their possesions and their substance, and impacted the lives of others, and one group did not. Only one group did well in the presence of the King.

Which group do you want to be a part of one day? One thing is for certain, if you are taking the same actions as one of the groups, then you will get the same reward eventually.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We need Your kingdom. We need You. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your abundant blessing of provision such that it overwhelms us. We are desperate for Your healing and Your deliverance. The enemy is diligently working to destroy Your people. He is stealing from us. Help us, Father. We are crying out to You for Your mercy and Your love. Destroy the evil workings. Lift us up that we might lift up our neighbors. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Thank You For The Feelings

Today as I hurried off in the dark to get to the class I had to teach, I had opportunity to think about What we are trying to accomplish in life. Each of us has something we are given to do. I listened to an audio presentation and was blessed at the thoughts presented. Essentially they described this as purpose. God has given to each of us purpose in our lives. Typically, according to the speaker, we have the ability to envision our purpose. As The sun peeked over the horizon as I made my way in to the building, I was thankful. Even the feeling of tiredness can be an indicator that we are on our journey. If we stay that course, we know that we will be with our Father in the end. It made me thankful for the feeling.

Psalms 20:1 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We rejoice and praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from the thief. Restore us, Father, and set us on the high ground. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Attitude, Attitude, Attitude

There is a saying in real estate when you are trying to make a decision about what house to purchase. The phrase is Location, Location, Location. Considering that phrase this morning, I was thinking about how grateful I am that our Father always provides a way for us to go. For me at times, the challenge is my own mindset and attitude. This is when I thought about this area of my life in terms of “spiritual real estate” and came up with a new phrase. Attitude, attitude, attitude. It really controls much of what we see by controlling how we see it.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We have the option of controlling what we see and experience by transfoming our minds. The more I considered this point the more thankful I became. We have the ultimate ability to stay and track by renewing our minds and being thankful everyday for all that our Father has done for us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King, and we long to be in Your kingdom. Thank you for all You have done Father. We praise Your name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming blessing of provision. Forgive us for our sins. Heal our hearts, for we are hurting. Deliver us from the works of the enemy. Come quickly. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Last For Now

On this day each year it is a custom to say good bye to the old and to welcome in the new. It is called New Year’s Eve, and it is both a time of rejoicing and a time of reflection. We are here at that point now. We rejoice that our Father has given us another year. And we look to the next year with hope, eager expectation, of creating something new and different. We hold on to our beliefs that we have been blessed to this point, and that we will be more blessed going forward. And for all these past, present, and future blessings, we are most thankful to our Father. Let us give thanks.

Psalms 128:1Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

We are indeed a blessed people. Let us give thanks to the Most High Yahuah!

Father, we exalt You. You are King forever! Yours is the only true kingdom. Bless the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Forgive us our sins. Heal us from our past hurts. Deliver us from those that would steal and have stolen from us. We ask You to stand for Your people now. Break all chains of past bondage. Let us go fourth with new beginnings. Help us to stay on Your path. Show us Your ways. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

When We Cry Out

Today I have had several people ask for me to pray for them for sickness they were experiencing. As I prayed for my friends, I thought about how most fortunate and blessed we are to have a God that hears our prayers and responds to us! It also made me sad to think that there are people that have to face the world on only their own ability. They do not believe in our Father and His great love toward us.

John 11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

This we know. Our Father loves us and hears us when we pray for His blessing upon His ways in our lives. Today we can be thankful that the Master of the universe hears us and loves us. Praise Yahuah (Lord)!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are the One True King. We cry out for Your kingdom to be among us. We bless the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys Your people even now. Rise up, my King! Come and grind to powder these evil works! Raise up Your people out of the ash heap and set them on high that all men might know that You alone have done this thing. Return to us one hundred times one hundred fold, and hundreds of hundreds, quickly. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Glad To Be Here

Life can be interesting. As I wrap up the business for the day, I think back on all that has taken place. I reflect on the day, week, month, year, and life in general. There are so many highs and lows in life. There is only one constant that I can see. If we stay the course with Yahuah (Lord), we win. He always looks out for us. This is a good thing.

I want to keep it simple today, A scripture to read, and a prayer of thanks – these are good things!

Psalms 107:1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Bless the name Yahuah! Thank you for all You have done in our lives. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from those that would steal from us, and have stolen from us. Restore us, and restore to us one hundred times one hundred fold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeashuah (Jesus). Amen.

Thankful In Captivity

Today I was thinking of all that happens in our country that is different from what I read in scripture. Looking at scripture, the closest thing I can see to where we are at is we are still in the dispersion of the Jewish people from the land of Israel. Even now that Israel has been restored as a nation, not all of her people have returned. As believers we are a part of that nation now. Paul spoke to this.

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

This was also true from the time the children of Israel left Egypt.

Exodus 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

So we see that not everyone has returned to the land. And we know from these scriptures that we too are a part of the nation of Israel if we are believers. So today, as I sit here in the land of the free, I realize that somehow, this is the dispersion. Somehow, we are in the captivity. We can be thankful that even now, our Father hears our every prayer. He will give to us those things we need. He will provide a way to freedom. He is our King!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the One True King. We praise and exalt You. We praise the name Yahuah. We cry out to You from our captivity to set us free. Help us, Father. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up inside, for we are a broken people. Let Your love be like a balm that heals us. Deliver us from the evil that is stealing from us and destroying us. Rise up, my King, and destroy these evil works. Grind them to powder. Set us up on high. Show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone have done this, that You alone are King. Restore one hundred times one hundred fold what has been stolen from us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Thankful For Forgiveness

This morning as I was thinking about the day ahead and the day behind, I was overwhelmed at how much our God truly loves us. We can always call out to Him for the mistakes we make in life, regardless of what they are. Did we say something mean to someone? Did we say something bad about someone, or make them the point of a joke? Did we pass someone by that really needed our help? These things and many more can weigh on us. They can be evidence of a hardened heart.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

The fallow ground of our hearts needs daily plowing. We need to soften our hearts. When we realize our sins, we can repent and cry out to the Father for forgiveness. It is in this repentance that we can soften our hearts. And when we repent, God draws close.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Today, we can be thankful that even though we are not perfect, we have a means to getting back into right standing with our Father. Thank You God!

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Send us Your kingdom here. Let it reign upon the earth. Give us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us for our sins that we might walk more closely with You. Heal us and deliver us. Restore to us all that has been taken from us one hundred times one hundred fold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
