Day 5 – Yom Cham-i-shi

Yom Chamishi, Cheshvan 4, 6004 – October 3, 2019

What I Do Have

Many people spend a good deal of time thinking about and considering what they do not have, or what they did not get. I am no exception. When we spend time in the past in particular, it can be a complete waste. The only reason to consider the past is to try to learn from it. Spending time in wishing for a future that we do not have access to can be equally wasteful, unless we are committed to praying for and expecting it to arrive. Even then, unless we have communicated with YAH about that specific thing, we can end up wasting time on something that is not headed our way. But what we can spend time on is now. We can enjoy and be thankful for what we have now. We can rejoice in the present for all that YAH has done, is doing and will do for us.

Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Today, join me, and let us pray for one another that we might rejoice and be thankful toward YAH for all that He is doing in our lives.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Thank You YAH for all You are and do. You alone are worthy of our praises. Let Your name be praised. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We love You. Let Your will be done here perfectly, just as the heavens declare Your works. Send us now Your provision, letting it overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Take us from temptations. Let Your kingdom reign forever within us, to Your glory. Send in quickly the strong finances. Restore the substance to Your people. Restore the prosperity to Your people. Rise up, O King. Rise up O King, and raise Your people from the dust. Let their wealth be greatly spoken of in the gates. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Tishri 26, 6004 – September 26, 2019

Today Thankful

There is always a flurry of activity of some sort, either around us or in our head. We can respond in a positive way to that, or not. What I am thankful for today is the chance to sit here and think about all that has been done for us, and all that we can do to make our lives complete. It is an amazing thing indeed!

Psalms 20:1 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We love You Father. We need You, for only You have the power and the wisdom we all need. Many thanks to You Father, for restoring Your people. Restore the substance and prosperity that we need, that we need, to promote Your kingdom. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Tishri 19, 6004 – September 19, 2019

Just A Chance

Much of life seems to depend on how we grew up. If we grew up with certain mindsets, these mindsets will control how our life turns out. We will literally be constrained by our thinking. Crazy, right? But it is true. We see what we expect to see. It frames our perspective on life. We have the opportunity to change our life, by changing our perspective. Said another way, we have a chance. And our Father, YAH, gave us that chance.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Let’s be thankful for our chance, and use it!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Show us the way. Show us a sign for good. Let us not be tempted. Let Your kingdom reign in our hearts and minds and bodies. Reign over our substance and prosperity. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Tishri 12, 6004 – September 12, 2019

Much Thanks

Today as I think about the many tasks at hand, I am thankful that I have everything I need in life. Could I have a nicer car, better clothes, a nicer house? Sure. But I have a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to keep me warm, and some people that love me. And, most of all, a Father who is watching over me and teaching me everything I need to know to be successful in life, to add value to others, to change the world for a better place. Today, I give much thanks and praise to my Father.

Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

Today I praise YAH, for He alone is teaching me to be a better person, to be like Him and to do His work.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, hear as it is in heaven, Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We love You. You can help men to change. We call out to You to help men to change. We call out to You to send us Your provisions of substance and prosperity that You ordained from the very beginning. We need You. We need Your mercy, and for You to move in power. This all is Yours, and Yours alone Father. We ask all these things of You, Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Tishri 5, 6004 – September 5, 2019

Drive On

Many people do not have the inner will to just keep going. Or at least they do not think they have it. For some of us, this drive to keep going is stronger than in others. For me, it has long been one of those things that I had in an unlimited way. These days is is being tested in many ways. For example, I am trying to train for a triathlon. I am not a coach of athletic events, and have not been an athletic person for many years. Yet I am learning to just keep going in the face of seemingly significant challenges. Just have to keep driving. I am just so thankful that our Father is in fact the perfect example of someone that just keeps going. He does not stop in any way. He just makes it happen.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Praise YAH that He is the example of perfection, the He show us perfectly how to drive on!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in me. Let Your will be done here perfectly around me as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and from the evil people. Keep us from temptation. The evil has withheld the substance and prosperity that You have set aside for me and for Your people. I loose it now in agreement with You that it is destined to appear in my life. Thank You Father, for doing these great things and for transforming my body. Restore the good, restore the substance, restore the prosperity, and all these one thousandfold, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 27, 6004 – August 29, 2019

Better Way

It is good to be able to seek our Father, and for Him to be found by us. This morning as I prayed, I was moved and thankful to think about all that our Father has set up for us from before time began. He set up a path for living, a better way than we could ever create for ourselves.

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Today, I look to my Father, thanking Him for all He has shown me. I know that He is with us. I know that He has only good for us. He is our King.

Deliver us from the evil here. Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us. We ask that you would fill our treasuries, and cause substance to come forth. All that has been taken or held back in any way we call to You now to restore. Restore one thousandfold. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 20, 6004 – August 22, 2019

Warm Inside

If this was winter, that title would bring a whole different feeling to people. However, it is still the end of summer. The “warm inside” refers to how I feel sometimes when I have a sense of thankfulness towards God for all He has done. Our Father has provided everything for us. It is a buried treasure, hidden in His Law.

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
6 Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to for give thos that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Guide us away from temptation. Restore the wealth and prosperity and peace and health to Your people that You alone have set aside for us. Send it now that all might know that You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 13, 6004 – August 15, 2019

Thankfulness As Preparation

The last few weeks have certainly had their challenges in this part of the world. But today, as I consider these things, one thing rings true. We are in pursuit of our Father’s kingdom. We have many great and wonderful blessings in our lives, and we need only lay hold of the remembrance of these to see that we have something to be thankful for towards our Father God. That is where I am at currently in my thoughts. I want to remain ever thankful for all that our Father has done for my family and me, and for those around me.

Psalms 126 A Song of degrees.
1 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Yu alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Deliver us from the temptations. Restore Your people, and restore all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 6, 6004 – August 8, 2019

So Thankful For The Day

Today I sit here thankful that I have been given the power to “back up” mentally from the challenges of the day. Instead of immediately being caught up in the day, I can sit back and take time to think of all YAH has done for us and for me. And with that pause comes a certain knowing that all will work out. This is good. Our Father loves us, and always will.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Av 28, 6004 – August 1, 2019

From Imperfection To Perfection

Last night a group of us had some great conversations about our thoughts about God, scripture, ourselves… the kind that help us to find our way. This morning as I think about what it takes to be a follower of our Father, and of Yeshuah our Messiah, I am so thankful that He is perfect. It is easy for us as humans to get caught up in looking to others when something is not as we would like it to be. What I have found is I need to look at me, and compare me to scriptures. What doesn’t line up, and I can fix, I fix. What doesn’t line up, and I cannot seem to fix, I cry out to my Father to help me overcome, and to forgive me for getting wrong.

Our Father is a really good Dad. He knows who we are, that we are all fragile humans. He wants only good for us, and if we call out to Him, He is ever present to make sure we are protected.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

He also provides for us daily and at all times.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

So, this leads me to see that in my imperfect state, I am very thankful that I have, and we have, a Messiah in Yeshuah who understands what it means to be human, and without transgression of the Law (sin), became transgression of the Law (sin) for us.

Today is a good day to be thankful to our Father for what He has given to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now our needed provision, such that it overflows to those You have given us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We are all fragile and we need Your help. You alone are our only hope. Deliver us from the evil here. We need You now. We need You now. Restore Your people. Take us to the land. Take us home. Cleanse us and renew us. We thank You for all these things and ask You for all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
