Fighting Through To What We See
One of the most powerful tools to do spiritual warfare that has been give to us is the ability to believe. Our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) said this when He spoke of the fig tree.
Mark 11:19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Here we see Yeshuah (Jesus) telling us what we believe in our heart and say with our mouth will come to pass. Over the years I have heard many people say many things. But when I look to myself, I have to be honest with myself about what I truly believe. What dis He mean, really? Our heart talks to us all the time. We know that God wrote the Law on our hearts because that is the new covenant.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
If we speak the Law, it will come to pass, because it is in our hearts, if we believe in the truth of the Law. Was Yahuah (Lord) serious when He made His commandments, or not? If He was, then the Law is real. And all of the blessings that Moses spoke over us come from the Law. Moses did not have the benefit of the Law written in His heart like we do. However, He did know the Law and for the most part his actions indicate that He believed God meant it. He believed that the Law, when acted upon, would bring forth blessing. This is also one reason why Yeshuah (Jesus) said he did not come to do away with the Law but to fulfill the Law.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Like all of us are called to fulfill the Law, Yeshuah (Jesus) was also called to fulfill the Law. He was also called to fulfill the prophecies about Him that the Prophets had foretold. Yeshuah (Jesus) did not mean that His fulfilling the Law eliminated the Law. Why would He say that the Law would not pass away until heaven and earth pass away? It is because heaven and earth passing away are prophesied. The “till all be fulfilled” is prophesy being fulfilled. The Law will be with us until all prophesy is fulfilled.
We can use the knowing of the Law being written in our hearts as a source of truth and power. With that knowing, we can speak those things that are the blessings and the curses related to the commandments and know that they will come to pass. This is how Yeshuah (Jesus) overcame the enemy in the desert, and how we can overcome him and his work in our lives.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King and the Declarer of Truth. We praise the name Yahuah! Send Your kingdom to us. Give us today Your overwhelming blessing of provision such that we cannot contain it all. We need Your forgiveness for our sins – please forgive us. Heal us up inside. Help us to speak the truth of Your Law that is written in our hearts. Help us and deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. Cause a return of provisions that have been stolen from us 100 fold. Let us be a source of truth and light in the coming days of darkened hearts and minds. Let us be a source of supply because of the blessing that You pour to us we can pour to others. Let there be a revival in the land of the knowing that Yahuah (Lord) is on the side of His people, that all men might turn to You. We ask these things in the name of Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Sometimes In Inches
Sometimes when we are battling our enemy, we win big battles. Often, we win by inches. Each time we fight the enemy we have the opportunity to be strengthened. We have the opportunity to learn. One of the chief things we learn is to trust in our Father, knowing that He is on our side and will come to our aide, always. This includes our learning to trust in Him.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
We learn something. Then we get a chance to apply what we learned through some experience. This strengthens what we learned, and possibly gives us opportunity to expand the areas in which we have learned to trust Him. He will continue this work in us to the end, and we will continue to defeat our enemy in the process.
Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
It can be frustrating to move through our walk with Him slowly. We want life to move faster, we want to improve faster, we want the obstacles of life to move on faster. But they move at the pace our Father Yahuah (Lord) wants them to move. He has a plan for us, and He will not fail. Praise Yahuah!
Prayer
Father, we praise and exalt You. You are our Majesty, our King. We bless the name Yahuah!. Let Your kingdom reign here on the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that we might not hold it all and it overflows to those around us. We long for Your loving arms to hold us. Forgive us our sins. Let Your love overrun us. Let Your love overrun our finances. Let Your love overrun our physical healing needs. Let Your love overrun our inner healing needs. Deliver Your people with a strong hand. Stretch out Your arm and drive back the evil that is stealing from us what You have provided. Crush the works of evil that all men might know that You alone are the true and living King! Praise You! Praise You, Yahuah! You are King! We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Taking The Blows
Fighting is not a glamorous undertaking. It is frequently painful in some way. In spiritual warfare there will be times when we take the blows of the enemy. It is not whether or not we get hit that is important. It is how we respond that matters. What we do know is we are the victors in the end. We know this because we are on the side of the Living God, Yahuah (Lord), and He has never lost yet. We will have times when we get hit, but we can keep going if we remember that we battle with our Messiah.
Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
So if we are in the position of taking the blows today, rejoice! One day we will be glorified together with our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus).
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We love You and long for Your kingdom. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal up our hearts from things past. Deliver us from temptations to walk away from You. Deliver us from evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. Come with a strong hand to set Your people free. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Struggles To Write
Today is interesting. I have restarted this about five times now. There is somehow a negative stress to this attempt to put something down that Yahuah has revealed to me. I feel that today, for me, is one of those days when what I express seems too negative.
I was going to leave a scripture only. After taking some time to rest and to pray, I realize the issue is me. When I get negative, it is me getting negative. In this case I was looking at what I wanted. I was looking at what I expected others to do for me. This is not right. We are to look to see what our Father is doing, and do that here. He is a loving God. Yahuah (Lord) does not hold grudges against us. I think in this case he was letting me see me on my own.
We as humans need the love and grace and mercy of our heavenly Father Yahuah every day!
Psalms 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Today is starting out tough. Send us Your abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal and deliver us. In Yeshuah’s name. Amen.

A Means To Victory
This morning as I was praying the Father showed me something that I believe many of us have known about in our heads. What is in our mind is what we become, as the scriptures indicate.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
This scripture is likely not new to those that read this. But there was something new for me in it this morning. As I prayed I was seeking Yahuah’s (Lord’s) direction for life in general, and more specifically to win in the multiple areas that are before me and my family. It is at that moment that He showed me that there is a connection between what we dwell on and our actions and our reality. Perhaps the difference was how clear that connection seemed today with His revealing it to me. It made me want to use this as a tool for warfare. As I thought on this, another scripture came to me that really seemed to tie in to this idea.
Phillipians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Here we see the direction for how to use the tool of becoming what we think. We ask God in prayer for what we need. Peace will come to our minds, and there is a list of things for us to actively to think about in our minds. We need to aggressively put those thoughts in our minds and reject all other thinking. The result then is to do as Paul did. This is one way to do spiritual warfare.
Though these scriptures are not new, and the concept is not new, the revelation and impact of them was for me more profound than in times past. Perhaps this will help you as well. Praise Yahuah!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! We love and appreciate You. We bless the name Yahuah! We long to live daily in Your kingdom. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal up our hearts. Deliver us from evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. Come with a strong hand to deliver Your people Yahuah. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Fighting With Confidence
What if going in to a conflict, we could see the future and know the outcome? And in that future outcome, we saw that we were the victor? What would that feel like, and how would that impact how we acted in the overall process? I think that there are several options here, really. We could be holding a grudge, and knowing that we will win, have a sense of arrogant pride about the outcome. That could possibly lead to “showing off” in any variety of ways. Or we could hope that it would be true. Or, perhaps, we could be thinking of the ones we were opposing, and want to cry out to them to plead with them to stop before we overcame them. Perhaps this is what motivated Michael when he struggled with satan.
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
This is the same as us using the name of Yahuah, or Yeshuah, to overcome the forces of darkness in our lives. Even in the case of defeating satan, we should remember that the enemy is a creation of our Father. We do nothing on our own. We do all we do to advance God’s kingdom. We can know that we can move forward, not in pride and arrogance, but in knowing that we are a part of restoring Yahuah’s (Lord’s) creation.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the King of the universe and beyond. We need Your kingdom here now. We bless the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our broken hearts. Deliver us from the evil men that would steal from us what You alone have provided, and come with a strong hand now to do it. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Looking The Tiger In The Eye
We will face times in our walks with God when we come face to face with what appears to be an overwhelming force. And in the moment we will choose. We will choose to run or to fight. The choice is up to us, but may well be set before we ever meet that moment. It is set by all the moments in between. We can build our confidence over time. And that confidence i snot in us. That confidence is in our Creator, Yahuah (Lord). This is how David faced Goliath.
1 Samuel 17:32 And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
David learned step by step. We can learn this way as well. If we will commit ourselves to learning before we need to face the overwhelming force, we will be prepared.
We, too, can slay the giants.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah (Lord). Let Your kingdom come and be the only one standing. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal us and deliver us. Let them not steal from Your servants what You have provided. Rise up, O Yahuah, and defend Your people. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Keeping It Simple
We win with Yahuah. The devil loses. End of story. As I write today, I think it important sometimes to keep it real and keep it simple.
I just did.
We are not the losers. We are not something less than desired by our Father in heaven. We are not the all He could get.
We are God’s chosen people. He makes no mistakes. Period.
Here is a scripture to consider.
Psalms 68:1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Praise Yahuah!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King, and we need Your kingdom. Give us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive our sins. Help us . Heal us. Deliver us. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Fighting Sly
There has been throughout history this idea that when we engage in battle that there should be some gentleman’s agreement about how we fight. While it would be good to think that there is some level beyond which we will not slide, at the same time we are trying to destroy our enemy before he destroys us. For me, when it comes to the spiritual warfare I am describing, there are no rules. I want to destroy the devil and his chump minions and the more gruesome the better. I hate evil, therefore I hate the devil and his chumps.
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
So our Messiah Yshua was manifested to destroy the works of the chump devil. We are to be like our Messiah. I guess we should do the same…
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We praise and exalt the name of Yahuah (Lord). Send us today Your overwhelming provision. We are desperately in need of You. Heal us and deliver us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name.

Daring To Believe
There was a song out when I was younger, called “Signs.” There was a saying also that referred to “a sign of the times” which meant something we saw was a reflection of something more going on in the world around us, like an indicator of society. As believers we have another source of signs with purpose. Our Father Yahuah (Lord).
Our Father placed signs around us for a reason. One of these was as a sign of the seasons and the important days.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Not only are these great lights (sun, moon, and stars) meant to be the indicators of the important times in the earth, they will never go away. That is yet another sign.
Jeremiah 33:19 And the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, saying,
20 Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
Here is what we know. There have been signs from the beginning. There were signs of the pillar of smoke and the pillar of fire in the wilderness. All the miracles done in Egypt were signs. When we truly allow ourselves to meditate on what those must have been like, and on the creation of the sun, moon, and stars, we have real images and examples of what Yahuah has done for us. We have a promise that He will not fail us. Our enemy wants us to forget these things in times of trials. He wants us to fear him and his doings more than we believe in God. But if we can just hold on to believing, trusting that no matter what we see around us Yahuah (Lord) is always there, we can overcome the trials and emerge victorious on the other side.
Daring to believe makes us winners!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. You alone are worthy to be praised. We praise the name of Yahuah! Father, we need Your kingdom here. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Help us to stay on Your paths. Heal up the hearts of many, for they have been broken. Deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. Yahuah, there are many things in place today to steal the wealth and lands of Your people. Our only hope is in You. Send us today the victory of the thief. Do not let him and his minions steal from us. Help us today Yahuah (Lord). We ask all these things in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
