He Fights For Us
In spiritual warfare, we believers often want to jump in and be involved. SOmetimes that is good. At other times, our Father calls us to just stand and praise Him, and watch Him defeat our enemies.
Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
This was the story of how God defeated the army of Egypt as the children of Israel watched Him defeat them.
There is also a great song to this effect.
Today, let us stand and sing, “I am a child of God.”
Prayer
Father we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done in this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed against us. Heal up the hearts and minds of Your people, from the youngest child to the oldest among us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way, whether it be prosperity, relationships, health, or any other thing. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Prayer In The Spirit
One of our spiritual weapons is prayer. It is perhaps our greatest weapon against darkness. Here we have the prayers we understand which we pray from our heart in our known language. We also have prayer in the Spirit, which is a language we do not understand.
Romans 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Often we quote Romans 8:28. But as we see here, that is preceded by scriptures talking about prayer in the Spirit. If we can learn to pray in this way for a person or situation, we can have the Spirit pray through us for things we do not even yet know about. This is powerful because we then are vessels of God for the “perfect” prayer.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done among us. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses, and help us all to forgive the trespasses against us. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil around us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah, Jesus (Yeshuah). Amen.

Praise Is A Weapon
When we praise, we are doing battle against darkness.
Psalms 100
A Psalm of praise.
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins, and help us all forgive those that have sinned against us. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Angels Unaware
Have you ever been in a situation where someone appeared that you did not expect, and with them came help? After the event, they were no where to be found. The scriptures speak about this subject.
Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Many I have spoken with have such a story. I know that I have had this experience on several occassions myself. Our Father, always looking out for us, will send His ministering spirits, angels, to do battle for us.
Daniel 10:9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
When we pray, our Father responds. In the spirit realm, the battle begins. Sometimes the Father has to dispatch even more troops to overcome the evil one. It is important therefore for us to stand fast, and wait upon Yahuah (Lord). He battles for us. Our Father never loses.
God will deliver us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Send Your ministering spirits, the angles of the host, to usher in Your will in this earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed against us. Wash clean our hearts and minds, and heal us. Deliver us from the evil. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. Arise, O King, and destroy the weapons and the works of the weapons formed against us. Do a mighty work, that all men might know that You alone have done these great things. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Fear Not
This phrase appears many times in scripture. It seems reasonable to conclude then that we as followers of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) that we will need this encouragement. This goes back to the days of the children of Israel as well. Our Father always fights our battles for us, when we turn to Him.
Judges 6:23 And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.
24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah–shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi–ezrites.
Joshua 8:1 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:
Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
There are many such stories in scripture. We need not fear, only believe that we serve the living God, and that He loves us and will be merciful unto us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah. We ask that You send Your will today. We ask that You send us our provision. Forgive us our sins, for they are against You only. We ask that we all might forgive each other, that Your mercy might show abroad in the land. Heal and cleanse our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil that tries to overwhelm us. Restore unto Your people their lands, their hearts, their relationships, and their desire to serve You. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus (Yeshuah). Amen.

See, Say, Sow
Last night I heard a speaker talk about how we move forward in the kingdom of God to promote the kingdom. Said another way, it was how we can conduct our spiritual warfare. He referenced the story of Abraham and how God made a promise to Him.
Genesis 15:4 And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Yahuah (Lord) gave Abram (his name at the time) a visual, something to see. It was like a vision that our Father gives to us. He could see the vastness of the number of the stars. Then God after a time visited Abram and gave him a new name.
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
The name Abraham means “the father of many nations” and from that time on whenever anyone, including him, said his name, they were saying the father of many nations to him. Finally, Abraham was with Sarah and conceived a son, Issac.
Genesis 21:1 And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
These same principles appear throughout the Bible, New and Old Testament alike. We see that if we spend time with our Father, He will give us a vision for the thing, then we must speak what the vision is, and then we must act on that vision. This is how we can do our spiritual warfare, by acting in concert with our Father to do His will and His work.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your light shine in this earth. Let Your will be done here. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and blot them out, just as we forgive those that have transgressed against us and keep no record of wrongs. Heal the hearts and minds of Your people. Deliver us from the darkness that is against us. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Helping Others
Sometimes the greatest spiritual warfare we can perform is to help others. There are many ways we can do this. One is through prayer and fasting.
Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
The fast is not to afflict our souls and ask for ourselves. It is to abstain from something that we might pray for others, and ourselves. We pray to release the wickedness, the heavy burdens, setting free the oppressed, and the breaking of every yoke. Feeding the poor, helping the needy. Our Father will honor such things. He will speak to us and guide and protect us.
Our Father is the King.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! We exalt You. Cleanse us and use us. Let us be Your light. Restore Your nation, restore Your people. Raise up Your people. Send us today Your provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal the broken-hearted. Restore unto Your people all that has been lost, taken, or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
Yom Re-vi-i, Shevat 6001 – January, 25, 2017
Trust In God
As I consider the topic of spiritual warfare, like many, I think of all of the tools we have been given by our Father. Scriptures, praise, prayer, etc. These are all good things. But it is easy to skip past or make assumptions about an important point, and that is really, it is our Father that does the battling. How all that works is not completely clear to me. But at the heart of it is we must be “true” to our God. By that I mean willing to surrender 100% of our mind, will, and emotions to His. I believe this is what our Messiah meant when He said what to seek.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Ultimately, if we surrender and do as He says, the outcome is not important. What is important is to serve Him, and to serve those He sends us to serve. If we can continue to do this, then He will win the battle, and He will be glorified.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Cleanse us and we shall be cleansed to be Your light here. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins, and heal the land. Heal our hearts and minds. Help Your people today. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way. WE ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
Yom Re-vi-i, Shevat 19, 6001 – January 18, 2017
One Of Our Greatest Weapons
Surrender. That is one of our greatest weapons, perhaps THE greatest weapon. Not surrender to the enemy. To our Father. I have learned recently that the more we surrender all to Him, the better chance we have of not only feeling the security of His embrace, the better chance we have at finally achieving victory. He is, after all, the Creator of the universe, the only One that can truly change anything. As I write this, the fog lifts where I can actually experience that as more than words, like a true reality. So often we (at least I) pray and we are more throwing words in the air than we are literally asking the One that can make the request reality, WITH the full expectation of our hands out expecting to receive something.
Matthew 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
This morning I can see more clearly why the scripture about treasures in heaven is preceded by fasting to God in secret. Eating is a celebration, or meant to be. In our society, we take it for granted most of the time. Fasting is eating of something from heaven, a celebration of sustanance with and from the Father. The spiritual closeness we experience allows us to make our requests with expectation, with our hands out, trusting our Father to fill them.
John 4:30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Here our Messiah was not eating food of this earth, but celebrating existence and provision of the Father in the completion of establishing the kingdom. This is the work that we as believers are commissioned to do, for when we finish the work of the Father that He has given unto us, we truly are defeating the enemy. This is true spiritual warfare. And it begins with understanding that we are powerless to change things on our own.
Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
When we can finally surrender our lives in total to Yahuah (Lord), we become His weapon on the earth. If we will set aside the earthly celebration of eating this world’s food, and partake of His heavenly table through fasting, we can place our treasures of requests for His completed work on the table. With open arms we can ask, “Father, please pass (my request)”, with open hands extended, as if asking for a dish of food, expecting that He will hand it to us. We can place these treasures in His hands, and leave these treasures in the heaven, knowing that He has heard us, knowing that if we seek His kingdom and righteousness, that He will grant all these to us.
Surrender today, and be victorious.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! We surrender to You, that Your will be done here. Forgive us our transgressions of the Law (sins), and we forgive those that have transgressed the Law against us. Heal our hearts. Heal our minds. Restore our relationships, with You and others. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Overwhelmed In Battle
Sometimes in our lives we may experience defeat. It may seem permanent, that the thoughts we once had of victory are but an illusion. The truth is defeat, or at least permanent defeat, is the illusion. We are not meant to be defeated. We are in fact predestined to be the winners. But our enemy is a conniver, and will use experiences to trigger thoughts of defeat that we then will believe, if we give in to them. This does not mean that we will not fall, that we will not sin (transgress the Law). It does mean that if we can muster the strength to cry out to our Father, we can regain the clarity of the truth that we are the winners, we need only return to the path that our Father has laid before us.
Deuteronomy 28:13And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
Today, let us all cry out for ourselves and for each other, that we might receive the clarity that comes from returning to our Father for truth, and the victory that is found in His ways.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be returned unto You, and shine the light of Your commandments to show Your path to all men. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins, and help us to forgive others. Heal up the wounds that are deep in our minds, that we might be healed. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
