Fighting Rightly
Often we as believers speak of a battle that we are in and that it is a spiritual battle. This is true according to scripture.
Philippians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
We see then that there is a struggle of some sort with darkness. With the reference to armor, it seems to indicate an intense struggle as in a potential battle.
In this battle, as in any battle, it is important to do the “right thing” to survive. We assume that some points are more important than others, and this may well be true. However, we also can see that the armor seems to be made up of “good” characteristics.
Philippians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
If we can get to the place where what we are doing (with the armor) is right, then we can do it all well.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespasses or transgressions against us. Lead us away from temptations, and deliver us from the evil here. Deliver me from the evil plans that men have for me. Confound their plans, and confuse their paperwork. Send in quickly the $425,000 and then the thousandfold. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Chance Is Not
One idea that exists in the world is that life happens by chance. This is not an idea that serves us as believers well. Why do I say that? Because it creates a cognitive spiritual dissonance. The idea is in conflict with what YAH has said in scriptures.
Proverbs 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.
If we will just listen to what YAH has to say in scriptures, we can determine what is the real truth. Then all we need do is believe and watch the world around us move and change to line up with what He has already declared.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Lead us away from temptations. Deliver me from the evil that men plan for me. Confound their plans. Deliver those that have stood for you, for the widow and the orphan. Send in quickly the $425,000, and then the one thousandfold. Clear up the hearing of the two boys in India, and loosen their vocal chords that they might praise you. Release them Father, from the bondage of deafness and dumbness. Please Father. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Using Scripture
This morning to keep this simple it seemed good to state what might be obvious to some. The easiest way to enter into spiritual warfare is to use scriptures. Here is a great one that demonstrates that David clearly saw himself as submitted to YAH and at the same time, empowered by YAH to defeat his enemies.
Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it overflow to those around us. Forgive our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Lead us away from temptation. This is Your kingdom and Your power, and it is forever. You reign. You reign. YAH You reign. Send in quickly the $425,000 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom. Deliver me from the plottings of evil that men do against me. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Shevat 26, 6004 – January 22, 2020
Fighting Back
We are blessed above all people. We can have God provide us a means to overcome adversity. Being human, we will fall short at times, But even then, YAH provides a way back. There are many stories of this in life and in scripture. To me, none more convincing than that of David. Here is a portion of his prayer while making his way back.
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Call out to God, and turn to Him, and He will turn to You.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. And let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions. Help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Lead us away from temptation. Deliver us fro the evil here. Deliver me, Father, from the evil that men do, and confound their works against me. Send in quickly $425,000,000 that I might use it to spread the good news that You alone are YAH our Elohim. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Shevat 19, 6004 – January 15, 2020
Perseverance As A Weapon
Much is written on the subject of spiritual warfare. The discussion includes prayer in the native tongue, prayer in the Spirit, shouting, singing, etc. But it seems to me that a case can also be made for perseverance. What if we just hang in there, just keep doing that which we are called to do? There is certainly a case to be made for that as well.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Let’s just stand.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Keep us from temptations. This is Your place and Your kingdom. We need You. Send Your angels to deliver Wisdom with her treasures to me. Restore unto Your people all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Shevat 12, 6004 – January 8, 2020
Long Days
Sometimes when we are out there battling, the days get long. We are engaged in doing those things that our Father has requested of us. It can be a struggle to not become grumpy (LOL). In the end, the effort is worth it as we see people’s lives change.
Luke 6:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
Sort of makes it all worth while.
Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from evil. YAH, deliver us from the evil that men do, and confound their plans against me. Send in quickly the substance and healing You have declared, You have declared. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Shevat 5, 6004 – January 1, 2020
Eyes Up! Guard Up!
It is easy to become “lulled to sleep” while on guard duty, waiting for the spiritual confrontations, or enjoying a moment with others. Our senses can become accustomed to the inputs from around us. In essence, if we accept inputs as what the enemy wants us to see them as, then we will accept all that comes with it, eventually. This is yet another reason why we must be vigilant to see as God sees that world. If we lift up our eyes to Him, He will teach us what we need to see.
Psalms 121 A Song of degrees.
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
When we lift our eyes to Him, we see that He is in charge. He keeps us safe at all times.
Lift up Your eyes!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts, minds and bodies of Your people. Let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it be great that it might overflow to those around us in need. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, for they are many and we are frail. Help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Keep us from temptations, and deliver us from the evil here. Deliver me from the evil that men would do. Confound their actions, thoughts and memories. Let their systems be confused. Send Your angels with a special delivery upon delivery of substance, healing, and prosperity. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Tevet 28, 6004 – December 25, 2019
Subtle Battles
Some days we must be subtle in picking our battles. This is one.
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
The wise see the subtle.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those who have trespassed or transgressed against us. Lead us away from temptations. Deliver us from the evil here, and from the evil that men do. Thank you for sending in the answers, the prosperity and healing that we so need. We ask that You rise up, O King, and come quickly to our aid. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Tevet 21, 6004 – December 18, 2019
Sing It Brother!
Today I just want to encourage everyone to add tonal content to their prayer time. It can be as simple as dragging your words out. It has been a big blessing to me.
Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Sing it!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King! You alone are King! Praise the name YAH. Praise the name YAH. Let Your will be done here. Let You kingdom com here. Let earth be like heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptation. This is Your place. Thank You for the pallets. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Tevet 14, 6004 – December 11, 2019
Stand And…
“When the time arises…” is the beginning of a sentence spoken often by we believers when we think about or talk about the subject of spiritual warfare. The implication of these words, in a way, is that somehow there are times when we go about our lives and then their are times when we need to step into our spirituality. But, it seems from scripture that we should always be in our place of spirituality.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And immediately following this Paul tells us a bit of the “how” and the “why” for his statement.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
So we see that in reality, there is not our life and then some time when we are to step into a more spiritual place. There is just the time with God, which is always at all times.
Whether we are to move forward or just stand in place, when we serve our Father according to His will, we will be actively involved in the spiritual warfare that our Father has for our participation. We need only to trust in Him.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here that men do. Confound their plans against us. Keep us from temptations. This is Your place and Your kingdom. Send in quickly Your deliverance of substance and healing and prosperity. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name yAH Yeshuah HaMashicah. Amen and Amen.
