Day 3 – Yom Shli-shi

Yom Shli-shi, Tishri 26 through Yom Shli-shi, Marcheshvan 3, 6002 – October 24, 2017

Moving Forward

At times we have challenges with our time. We can lose track of our time. But we continue to build even through these times of fleeting moments, hours, and days. Here is a good word to support how our Father will continue to bless us if we remain His humble servants.

Proverbs 25:6 Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:
7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away every though or memory of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal us and deliver us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Tishri 19, 6002 – October 10, 2017

Edify One Another

We are called to be lights and to shine before the whole world.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

As I read this verse just now, it is the first time that I saw that it was referring to our good works. What Yeshuah (Jesus) said next would seem to fit with that statement.

Matthew 4:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Is it possible that the good works we are to do is contained in the Law, the Torah? One thing is for sure, we are to be helpful to one another. We are meant to build each other up. If we do these things, then we in fact will be lights. Lights of hope and happiness in an otherwise dark place.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be here among us as it is with You. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let their be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all of the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Tishri 12, 6002 – October 3, 2017

The Leaning Tower

Growing up I can remember conversation from early grade school about the “Leaning Tower of Pizza” – obvious misspelling. What we learned is that it really wasn’t leaning, it was built that way. And that is important to us as believers because where we start impacts where we finish. The good news – in a way – is that we can get help fixing the foundation from our Father.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Let’s start each day off with a good foundation.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help all those that trespass or transgress against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Tishri 5, 6002 – September 26, 2017

What To Build Upon

Everything we have comes from our Father. He is ultimately the provider because He was and is and will always be the Creator. We may live in troubled times, and we have a right to be concerned about issues today. Ultimately, division can only be settled by turning to a higher power, something greater than us. From the scriptures, we see that the origin is our Elohim. And where did it begin for us that God and man once again were in communication?

Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.with the earth:
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

This was repeated again by the man who came to be known as Abraham.

Genesis 12:1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

In the end, each individual has to call upon God, and respond to His voice when He answers. Abraham is said to be the Father of our faith because he responded to our heavenly Father and packed up his family and left his home country. In all of these cases, there is known to be something revealed from the beginning. We see it in the direction given to Noah about what to take into the ark.

Genesis 7:1 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.by sevens: Heb. seven seven
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

If there was no Law from the beginning, then what made the animals clean and unclean? Perhaps the Law always existed, written in the heaven.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:the day…: Heb. between the day and between the night
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Let us build as it was from the beginning, upon what our Father created. His will in heaven is to be in the earth. This is the job of mankind.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done in heaven as it is in the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore right relationships among the brethren. Restore one hundredfold all possessions and finances that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Rise up, my King, and show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are our King, that You alone are God. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Alul 26, 6002 – September 19, 2017

We Can Build

If we will ask ourselves to change to line up with our Father’s plans for us, we can build a better future for ourselves and those around us. We are asked by our Father to create a better world.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We are further told that everything we do is to be done in faith.

Romans 14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Therefore, let us go forth and build in faith, while it is called today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us today Your provision so much that it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Alul 19, 6002 – September 12, 2017

We Need To Keep Moving

In life we are either moving forward ar moving backward – there is no standing still. There have been many times that I have made this statement. But now as I reflect on it, I question its’ accuracy. If life is measured by things around us, then it might be true. But if life is measured based on our relationship with the Father, then I do not believe this to be accurate. I say this be cause our relationship with the Father is timeless because He is timeless, and we have eternal life. This initial thought on movement can only be true in relation to certain things around us. But questioning their value is worth considering. In any event, it is good to continue to move toward and with the Father, for sure.

Psalms 48:10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away completely all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be thoughts and memories of only You. Heal us up to complete soundness in body, soul, spirit, and mind and heart. Deliver us from the evil here. Let Your finances flow into our hands today Father. Restore the breach between the brethren. Rise up, my King, and make these things so, today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Alul 12, 6002 – September 5, 2017

Follow Through Is Building

In the grand scheme of things, when we say we need to follow through with something, we are really talking about building something. Let’s think about it for a minute. Follow through implies something about the past, the future, and the now. There is something that started in the past. We are trying to get it to some state in the future. And we are talking about what we are going to do about it right now. Definitely sounds like building something, something that does not yet exist, from where we are right now. And it also sounds like follow through. Finishing something we start is follow through, and it is building.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Let’s keep pressing on until the last day.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away completely any and all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Heal us from the inside. Restore one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Let it be as in the days of the Exodus, Father. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Alul 6, 6002 – August 29, 2017

Building Time

When we walk through life with our Father, we are in a time of building. We are all trying to become the people we are meant to become. This is one of the messages to us in scripture.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

The truth is, we will become something over time. We want to become what pleases our Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us this day Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of all the evil done to us or by us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold, and the more besides, all that has been taken or held back from Your people of that which is good. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Av 29, 6002 – August 22, 2017

How We Build

We are all subject to certain absolutes, or so we believe. The more we dig into what we think we know, the more that is revealed that perhaps we do not know. It leads to an interesting question. If we are uncertain of what we are building with then how can we know what the building will be when we are complete? All very interesting questions for sure. There seems to be a needed balance between praying for direction and actually doing something with our building process. One thing that is always helpful is prayer and scripture.

Psalms 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

It is good to read scriptures and think on what they mean.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name YAH! Let your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore the good Father. Show us a sign for good. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Av 22, 6002 – August 15, 2017

Can We Keep Up?

It is interesting to walk with our Father in His will and His work. He is so very loving and gracious. The trick is we need to keep moving. He will always come to us when we call, but we also need to be moving in His direction.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside out. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all that good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, the name YAH. Amen.
