Day 3 – Yom Shli-shi

Yom Shli-shi, Tevet 14, 6002 – January 2, 2018

Examining The Stones

This morning as I read the story of Elijah in scripture, I thought about what it would have been like to be him. He saw our Father do some amazing things. Yet in the face of these things, he also realized that he was just a man.

1 Kings 19:4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Elijah was well aware of his own shortcomings. There is a message in this understanding. James pointed this out.

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

At least a part of this message is that our Father is King. He will do what He will do. It is our job to serve at the behest of the King. And it is at the sole discretion of the King what a person’s calling is to be. We are to examine ourselves and to cry out to our Father. If we can humble ourselves, we will be established in His work according to His will. Then when we build, we will build for Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here, let Your kingdom come here. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts of evil done to us or by us. In their place, wash us clean and give us thoughts and memories of only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold, and thousands of thousands, all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Bring in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it as You direct to promote Your kingdom. Let that time be now, Father. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Tevet 7, 6002 – December 26, 2017

Everyone Can

One thing resonates with me this morning. Everyone can do great things in their life. It is how we were made. It is what we were created for originally. Dominion.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Today we can, if we will try, live out this charge. It does require us to follow after our Father. That requires us to try to figure things out. Even that is not exactly the right way to say it. The desire to “figure it out” or “to be right” is really just another temptation. We don’t really figure it out, we become receptors to hearing what our Father reveals to us. we must sit quietly and listen. We must ask Him for wisdom.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

We know that He wants us to have wisdom and understanding. It has always been so.

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

We can build, and we can build well. We need to spend time with our Father, to hear His words and do them. We need to follow after Him to find what to build when, and how.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise and bless the name YAH! Let Your will be done here. Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now while it is called today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We long to have only thoughts and memories of You. Help us all to let go of the past which is evil. Heal up past wounds in us. Help us all to help each other. Deliver us from the evil here. Heal up our hearts and minds, and eyes and feet. Help us to do only that which is good in Your sight. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53, and provide direction for it to advance the kingdom. Rise up King, while the world watches, and deliver mightily Your people. Restore one thousandfold, and thousands of thousands, that which has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Let it be so, Yahuah (Lord). Let it be so today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in Your name, YAH. We ask all these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Kislev 30, – December 19, 2017

A Lot To Remember

Sometimes we as believers can feel like there is a lot to remember in living for our Father. Praying for our family, friends, enemies, ourselves, health, the next business deal, our jobs, etc., etc., etc. And then there is trying to say and do the right thing at the right time. In times like these, I find myself just setting things aside in my head and stopping to think about what is important. In years past I have had jobs doing construction, and I have worked on many buildings for myself and others. One thing I know from these experiences, it is always good to build from the ground up. The same is true in our lives. For me, this means starting with taking time with our Father. The scriptures teach this, actually.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

All the things that contend with us in our minds are grappling for our attention. Some of these things may be attacks of the enemy. Our Father delivers us from the negative component of these things. It seems clear that a primary need for us is to reach out to Yahuah (Lord) to get His help and guidance. Another thing that shows up here is that change is good. These different demands on our time are an indicator of change, of life moving forward, and of the kingdom being presented in the earth. If we will call out to our Father to get us through these changes, then we are on the right path and we are building the right way. We see this by what comes next about how change is important to fearing (having reverence toward) our Father.

Psalms 55:18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

So, while it may seem like we have a great deal to remember, one thing is most important. That one thing results in solving the rest. It is spending time with our Father, evening, morning, and noon time.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here. Send us now while it is called today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We need You to cleanse our hearts and minds. We need You to create in us clean hearts and minds. Heal up our bodies. Deliver us from the evil here, as You did for David. You are our only hope. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that Your kingdom might go forth. Rise up, O King, and show Yourself strong on behalf of Your people for the sake of Your words You have spoken. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Kislev 23, 6002 – December 12, 2017

Building Takes Many Hands

Today I learned that sometimes answers are right in front of us. In talking with a friend, I realized that he had the knowledge and expertise that another friend of mine needed. I connected the two of them, and now their efforts have been multiplied exponentially. It takes many people working together sometimes to get over that hump of accomplishment to where something really big can happen. Today was one of those days. Building is a good thing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Today, and everyday, let’s look for opportunity to build together.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done, as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You in Your name, Father, we ask these things in the name of YAH! We ask these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Kislev 16, 6002 – December 5, 2017

Adding On

Believers are meant to be used to expand the kingdom. This expansion can happen in numerous ways. More people can become believers. This is an exciting option because darkness is dispelled. What a wonderful time it is to see a person make such a transformation! But there is anther way to expand the kingdom. We find it in Genesis.

Humans are to rule the earth. We are to fill the earth up. And we are to rule over the life on the ground, in the water, and in the air. We are to be blessed in all our labor, with our fields and flocks and herds, and everything we put our hand to multiplying and being prosperous.

Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.store: or, dough, or, kneadingtroughs
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

We can see that we are definitely to be a blessed people. We are to add to the kingdom.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom rule here and be here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now while it is called today Your overwhelming provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Cleanse our hearts and minds of the thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. Heal us in our bodies, minds, and hearts. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousand fold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides, unto thousands of thousands and beyond. Rise up, my King, and deliver as You always have. Show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are our King! We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! In the name of YAH Yeshuah let these things come to pass. Amen.

Building Days

Today is the day that I have traditionally celebrated my birthday. And yet, I have come to realize that there may be some uncertainty in the relationship to time and its measurement. Under the Hebrew calendar, I was born on the last day of Hanukkah. All of this is very interesting to me. Today I want to focus on how we build our lives.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

And the ultimate build up is the building that takes place with relationship to time.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

From the beginning, our Father used days as a building tool. He used the solar system to establish that building. It only seems logical to follow after what He has placed there for us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! let Your kingdom be here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside by wiping away all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. Replace them with only thoughts and memories of You, Father, and Your great love toward us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one thousandfold unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good – relationships, lands, monies, gold, silver, and precious jewels and all that prospers – and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Yom Shli-shi, Kislev 2, 6002 – November 21, 2017

Remember Where You Are

This morning I read a news story about a public figure that was doing almost twice the speed limit on a highway. She claimed to have lost track of what she was doing on the way to where she was going. The story reminded me of how we can get caught up in life, responding to the next moment that comes along. The problem with such an approach is it is possible to make wrong decisions. If not corrected, they compound, or can, with the next wrong decision. It would seem our only hope is to somehow stay the course, or quickly return to the course when we need to do so. The one way I have found to do so in the last 24 hours is to say what the scriptures say about a matter.

Proverbs 6:20 My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

So, how do we bind something to our heart? This is not something done with cotton or nylon rope. Rather, it must be done through the words that we say, that lead to the thoughts that we think. These both lead to the actions we take. Just as the thoughts we think in the moment result in an action, so do the thoughts we think when we say the Law out loud.

Somehow, we are meant to say what our Father says. It must be possible.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom be here, and let Your will be done here. Send us Your abundant provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal up our hearts and minds. Remind us to speak Your words to resist the devil. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way that is good, and the more besides. Bring in quickly the $424,523,962.53. You are King. Only You are King. Rise up, my King, and show Yourself majestic that all men might know that You alone have done these things. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Delivering The People

When we think of edifying someone, the idea of building someone up comes to mind. It is both true and good. At the same time, delivering people, like Moses did, could also be considered a form of edifying or building someone up, I suggest. The children of Israel went to bed slaves and the next day became free wealthy people.

Exodus 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.dungeon: Heb. house of the pit
30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.kneadingtroughs: or, dough
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

We are able to experience this same deliverance today. If we will cry out to our Father, believing, He will respond and spoil the evil ones around us. In the end, the evil is spiritual.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in the heavens. Send us now our needed provision, with an abundance that we can pour out to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal us inside and outside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of Your Father, in Your name YAH! Amen.

Welcome Home

One story in scripture is often spoken about to reflect the return home of a child that has made some bad choices. That is the story of the prodigal son. The part of this story that has always impacted me is the welcome the father in the story prepared for his son.

Luke 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Although a parable, our Messiah told the story to make an important point. Sinners, those that transgress the Law, will be drawn to the power and truth that is poured forth by the Messiah. We need to have hearts that rejoice when someone turns from their sin (transgression of the Law). In our land, we can easily become cynical, even to the point of making jest at someone that does repent. What if instead, we would be like the father in the story? What if we would be like our Father, and welcome them home?

Welcome home!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, that we might forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way that is good, whether lands, monies, wealth, prosperity, goods, relationships, or anything else, and the more besides.

Willing To Build

Throughout our walks as believers there will be times of enthusiastic pursuit of the kingdom. These are exciting! We feel involved and alive, ready to take on the world. At other times we may feel uncertainty. Doubt or fear may creep in if the uncertainty is left unattended. One way to overcome this feeling is to pause to take time with our Father, and meditate on His words and His ways.

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joshua took this scripture quite literally. In fact, YAH (God) said it to Him directly.

Joshua 1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

If we will take time to meditate on the things our Father has told us, and do them, we will prosper in all we do.

Let us not be afraid to build today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise and bless the name YAH! Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overflowing provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away any thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your provision of love, health, and wealth, that overflows from us to many around us. Let us be lights in this dark world. Use our light as a means to draw men to the truth of the gospel, the good news that You are on our side. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in Your name, Father, the name YAH! Amen.
