Not To Be Snared

A friend of mine shared with me how someone had “ambush” him legally. God intervened, without him realizing it at the time, and my friend escaped the “trap”. As I thought about the scenario, it encouraged me so much. Our Father ALWAYS has our backs.

Psalms 141:8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

This is repeated elsewhere as well.

Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Today, I am encouraged by my brother’s story, and by the scriptures that our Father has given to us.

Encouragement Comes

It is interesting to “hear from God” to say the least. Sometimes we here just when we talk with Him (some call that prayer). It is that pressing, clear thought that comes when He wants us to know something. Then, there are the scriptures. There is a certain peace that comes when we read these. Scriptures are meant to be good for us.

2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

When we need to be encouraged about what way to go, then we have the scriptures to help us as well. Praise YAH!

Prayer

Hanging On

Sometimes we get the chance to experience the wave of God across the land. By that I mean that God sometimes moves in a way that is significant and good, like a wave of blessing. In these moments we can use what is sent our way to build up our faith.

Psalms 68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.even…: or, even many thousands
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.for men: Heb. in the man
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Help Is Close By

For many of us as believers, we can come up against a wave of uncertainty we call life. As we look out to the ocean of possibilities, we have a decision to make about what we see. The waves of the tide moved by the celestial bodies in the normal course of existence? A tsunami? The end of everything? This is a bit extreme, but the imagery does make a point. We need to set our perspective. All of these views are relative to what we believe about what we see, and where we think we stand. It is encouraging to see what our Father sees, and where He says we stand.

Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.

Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom here. Here our cries, my King. Do not let evil prevail. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in Your name, Father, the name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Living Is Winning

Sometimes we are winners because of some big event that we come in first place as a participant. When that happens we feel elated. But in those scenarios, there is only one person that comes in first, and only one winner of that type. Yet, there is another winner in the journey of life. That is the one that refuses to give up. If we will just live life and love others, we dispel evil and fulfill the Law.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

We know this is important, because it is what our Messaih said that He Himself came to do.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Read in context, we see that the sermon on the mount was detail about how to love another. We see then that, just by living, we win. Darkness is defeated, and the light shines from the hill.

Wipe away all thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us, and replace them with only thoughts of You and Your love toward us. Let us be healed completely from the inside. Help us to love each other, and even those that do not love us. Deliver unto Your people restoration one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might promote Your kingdom here. Move mightily while it is called today, Father. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah 9Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. WE assk all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

We Are Together

Whether we try consciously or not, we actually all stand together. When we look around and see the division in the world, the nation, and even in our communities, it can be hard to imagine that we are together. But whether we agree or not, we are together in one category. We all have the same supernatural enemy out to kill us and steal from us.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

If we can stop looking at each other long enough, we will see the enemy standing there ready to kill us. But the good news is that our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) has overcome the world, and abundantly provides for us. He used the full preaching of the Law to dispel evil from people’s lives and heal them. It seems He used his death and resurrection to give us eternal access for those times (which for most of us happen daily) when we fall short.

We stand together!

Wellness Needed

To all my regular readers my apologies for not posting more timely. For several days now I have been quite ill. Here is a great scripture that often encourages me.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

We serve the One True Living God.

Deliver Us

Each time we pray what is commonly referred to as the “Lord’s Prayer” we ask our Father in heaven to deliver us from evil. This is a good prayer. It is a good request. It is also good for us to know that our Father never ceases from His work. He will always rise to the occasion to deliver His people. We must remember that He is about a very big picture, a plan, to demonstrate the presence and power of His kingdom, which is our inheritance. We get to have that kingdom, in whatever state it is in around us. The question becomes how do we co-operate with this effort to advance the kingdom? We need to move it from heaven to earth.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

And we also know where it is to reside.

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of heaven is the reign of God in heaven. The kingdom of God is the reign of God in a person.

Today, let’s focus on the kingdom of God and pray that we might enter in and remain.

Send us now Your daily provision such that it overflows to those around us. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 to promote the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Rise up now, Father, and show Yourself strong for those that choose to follow You. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah! Amen.

Traveling

This was a travel day for me. For any of my regular readers, I ask that you give me mercy and grace for not posting timely. I looked up traveling mercies and could not find a specific scripture. But generally, our Father is always with us. Next time you travel try to find a scripture that seems to be a blessing and go with that – it never hurts.

Deuteronomy 28:6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

This is a pretty good travel scripture – even for walking down the street!

Restore unto Your people seventy times seven all that has been taken or held back that was good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Inputting Courage

When we think about trying to encourage someone, it seems that it would mean to get that person to be courageous. This is something that our Father seems to address on a regular basis when He speaks to His people. His is one of my favorite scriptures in this regard.

Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

We see here multiple times that our Father was trying to instill courage in Joshua to be the leader of Israel. Think about the situation for a moment. Moese appeared doing many miracles and Pharaoh let the people go. Then a miracle at the Red Sea caused an entire Egyptian army to perish in a moment. Finally, they get close to the promised land and Moses perishes because he did something wrong. Now God wants to give Moses’ job to Joshua. Sounds like a perfect time for some courage to appear.

We all have moments in our lives when we need our Father to help us have courage. When He speaks to us, that is a very good reason to be encouraged. Today, let’s all pray and wait for Him to speak to us. And when He does, let’s go forward with courage.

Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might provide for those around us. Cleanse our thoughts and imaginations that we might only contemplate You and that which is Your will. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Bring a seven-fold blessing while it is yet called today. Deliver us from the evil here. Please help us today, Father. It is Your kingdom, power, and glory forever. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesu). We ask all these things in Your name, Father, the name of YAH. We ask all these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
