Power In Prayer
Our Father has chosen to place great power in prayer. We can only speculate as to why. Some good thoughts are that it keeps us from becoming prideful that we did something on our own. It keeps us reaching out to Him. And it keeps us in sync with His world. This creation of His focuses on Him and testifies of Him.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
We need only look to our Father to see that He has something in store for His people. He loves us and wants only the best for us. He wants us to spend time with Him and look to Him for protection and comfort.
Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Today we can be comforted knowing He hears us when we pray, and He watches over us always.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Help us to usher in Your kingdom here in this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal us Father, for our hearts and minds have often been wounded. Cleanse and make whole these wound. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Come with a strong arm, my King! Take from the destroyer more than He has taken, just as You did in the days of the Exodus, and give unto Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Because Of Him
This morning thinking about the general state of mankind caused me to consider what all we might do to make life work well. How do we move forward knowing we are human and make mistakes? The answer is simple. Because of our Father.
Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Because our Father is merciful, we can make it!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! We praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom reign with and through us here in the earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our wounded hearts and minds. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Not My Own
Today as I was contemplating all that the Father is to me, there rose up in me a sense of comfort. I realized that I am not perfect, nor will I ever be perfect. Yet, my father will continue to love and guide me. He will always guide me back to the path of righteousness because that is who He is and what He does. My righteousness in not my own, whether I am having a good or a bad day. He is my righteousness.
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Our righteousness is the Law, which shows us to be sinners. No man can perfectly keep it. And yet, it reminds us of the need for grace and mercy that only our Father is capable of giving. This is the God we serve.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King, residing in the heavenlies. Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be able to bring Your kingdom to this earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal us up inside. Wash away the past pains. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Rise up, my King! Rise up and strike with and outstretched arm at the enemy. Drive him away. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Slipping Off Goal
In life sometimes we have to remember to take control. If we don’t, life may take control of us. It will be what we make of it. Not that we are in charge of creation. But we have impact on our Father’s creation. It could be said that we must cooperate with Him. Here is a scripture to comfort.
Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Let Your kingdom come through us. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore us as you did when Your people left Egypt. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Knowing Our Father Watches Over Us
If you have ever been awakened in the night by a bad dream, a sense of not feeling well, or just some challenging thought about how the coming days might go, there is something to know that we can appreciate. Our Father loves us at all times. He never slumbers or sleeps. He is ever on the job, watching out for His kids. How do we know this? The scriptures tell us this is true.
Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
What can we say then for these times when we wake? For me, I begin to talk to the Father. I praise the name Yahuah! I thank Him for all He does. I refuse, out loud, to accept whatever that negative thought might be. In short, I commune with our Father long enough to feel the comfort of His presence, and then I go back to sleep.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Help us to establish Your kingdom here by keeping Your commands. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Restore unto Your people all that has been stolen or held back one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

The Night Watches
Our Father has provided a means for us to have His comfort at all times. This includes the night watches, throughout the night. If you have ever been awakened in the night not feeling well, or with the inability to return to sleep, or even the just an uneasiness or fear of the coming days, you can appreciate what I am talking about. Last night was such a night for my wife and I. At different times we each awoke with physical afflictions. Yet, we were able to call out to our Father, and He rescued us, just as the scriptures say.
Psalms 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
In the end, we must seek to find a way to believe what our Father has said to us more than what is going on around us. It is a matter of perspective, actually. Do we view the actions around us from the perspective of scripture and our relationship with Yahuah, or do we view everything else from the perspective of the actions around us? The former sees God’s ways, the latter sees God’s acts.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We praise the name Yahuah! Let us make Your will happen on the earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the snare of the fowler. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Come now, Yahuah, with a strong arm, and deliver Your people today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

What Have We Learned
Each time we hear, see, or do something, we have an opportunity for learning. If we use these opportunities well, we advance the kingdom in our lives and through our lives. We are essentially here to do just that – to advance the kingdom. When we keep this goal in mind, then we improve our opportunity for success at advancing the kingdom.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
When we speak Yahuah’s (Lord’s) commands essentially all the time, we hear them all the time. This gives us the power to do them all the time. The word translated here as “hear” literally means “hear and do” or “hear and take action”. This is active learning, on the fly.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom will be with us here. Send us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Raise up within us the power to change our lives, and to speak Your words continually. Deliver us from the thief that kills and steals. Restore unto your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Keeping The Comfort Going
This morning when waking up it occurred to me that there is one way to keep a feeling of comfort going from God. We feel the greatest comfort when we feel His presence around us. If we keep His presence around us, we will be comforted. The question is, how do we keep His presence around us. One thing we can do is speak His commands, and praise Him.
Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
The word for “inhabit” here in the Hebrew literally means “seated upon,” so we can say Yahuah will come and sit in the presence of our praises. We also know from Yeshuah that when we come together in His name, He is with us.
Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Finally, there is an importance to speaking, even if we are alone. We need to speak what is true. We need to speak the scriptures over our lives and the lives of others. Yahuah has said He will not let His word go void but will make certain that it brings to pass whatever He sends it to do.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
We can keep the comfort and the truth going forward!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! We long for Your kingdom among us. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our minds and our hearts. Deliver us from the thief that destroys. Raise up Your people, and bring them great wealth that they might advance Your commandments, Yahuah. Restore one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back from Your people. Have the unbelievers pour out great blessings on Your people as in the Exodus. Show Your people a sign for good that all men might know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Can If We Try
At times we can become frustrated with our progress in our walk. We do things we think we should not or say hurtful things to someone and after, we shake our heads and wonder what is wrong with us. The answer is – we are human. That is why we have to try every day to get better. We are going to make mistakes and get things wrong. We are going to struggle with getting ourselves down the road loving people the way we know we should from time to time. But that is one of the reasons we are here, I suggest. This is our proving ground. This is where we try to get things right.
Philippians 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
We are working it out. But we are not alone. Our Father is with us, helping us make our way. We will make it if we just refuse to quit!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Bless the name Yahuah! Let us live in Your kingdom. Let us be Your servants. Wash away the evil that still is in our members. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Comfort To Win
It can be a challenge to always have to battle for our place in life. Pondering that this morning and faced with choices to do good or not, I recalled a scripture from Philippians.
Philippians 4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3 And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Repeating verse 8 out loud several times, I was able to retake control of my thinking. Sometimes when we first get up, our thoughts are a little fuzzy. That seems to be when we are attacked frequently by the enemy. Talking to ourselves out loud about what a blessing the day will be helps. Speaking scriptures out loud is very powerful. But we have to do more than just think about it. There is something in the verbalization that helps us to win. And that is a scriptural perspective.
Deuteronomy 30:5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
We see in verse 5 the promise that God will do us good. This is the gospel of God – the true good news. Then we see that we are to follow His ways and receive blessings. then we see that the power to do that is in our mouth!
Today, if you are faced with a struggle, find a scripture that addresses that challenge from a point of victory and say it out loud several times. You can win!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King, and we love You. Thank You for the power to speak Your words. Thank You for Your kingdom here on earth. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Help us to say the right things, to say Your words. Deliver us from the thief that steals, kills, and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
