Psalm 122

A Song of degrees of David.
1 I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2 Our feet shall stand
Within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded
As a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD,
Unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment,
The thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
They shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls,
And prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes,
I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God
I will seek thy good.

Imagine The First One

Can you imagine watching the creation of the first day? Wow! Just thinking about it is comforting to me.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Destiny Is With Us

This is always and interesting discussion. How exactly do we make certain that we as a people group reach our destiny? Is there such a thing? What role do we play in creating it and/or reaching it? These are some great questions. For myself, I have partial answers. There is clear scriptural evidence that God created everything with a plan in mind and that His plan will come to pass. Yes we are responsible for what we do. But there is a pre-ordained essence to it all and we can make it happen.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Powerful Comfort

My Father is very powerful. In fact He has the ultimate power in this earth and universe and any verse. He is King. The farther my country gets from a king authority the less they understand what it means to have a King. But an all powerful King can easily afford to be one that provides comfort to His people. In fact, He can afford to have us call Him King and call Him Friend. My Friend is King!

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Let it overflow. Let the silver and gold coins flow YAH. Let them flow to me in great and overwhelming abundance YAH. Let there be piles of cash and precious stones as You have shown me. Deliverance Is Sweet

This morning as I was sitting seeking YAH on my porch, I realized that for most of my adult life, perhaps all of my adult life, I have not known the feeling of freedom. And in some ways I am more free than most people as I do not have a 9-5 job that I must attend to everyday. There is a certain freedom one must attain in the mind. If we can get there, or perhaps to the degree we get there, we can be free. So what shall we say about this? It is worth taking time to pray and just “be” with YAH to determine what He may have for us by the way of freedom and a life that experiences it.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Guardians at the door inside and out. They slay all that tries to pursue. Inside the angels bat their wings and the papers fly, never to alight, and then they dissolve. No one wants to touch this. They all are in confusion and fear and distaste of pursuit. Lady has her thoughts confounded and her speech is like babel. O King You are King. Show me the work that You have for me. I love You. I love You. Bring to me the gold and the silver O my King. I love You. I love You. I love You. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Deliver Me

Sitting here writing to generate today’s work, the title just fell out of me onto the screen. Interesting. For many of us I believe that there is a questioning that takes place within us. This questioning is something that in some way sits between us and our comfort from YAH. We can get to that comfort, but something must occur to rid ourselves of this questioning. Perhaps one of the best approaches here is to understand that YAH is who He is, and that it is the questioning that is keeping us from His comfort. I do believe it is good to ask questions. That is not the questioning that I am referring to here. When we seek deliverance at the hand of YAH, there can be a questioning as to is it possible that “this” (whatever this is for each person) could be gone. That questioning that I speak of soon turns to doubt and a belief that there is no deliverance and it weaves itself together with us and our being. But if we can “see” ourselves free, we can obtain the opportunity for YAH to set us free from “this” and obtain our deliverance.

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech,
And night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language,
Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it:
And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold:
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Keep Your Peace

In times challenges we can allow ourselves to begin to feel stress. We do not have to allow this to happen to us. We can choose a path with YAH that is peaceful. For me this can be a challenge because at the moment I feel as though there is something that I need to be doing. However, the only way I can know that this is true is if I seek YAH for His wisdom and guidance. He will speak, often in a still small voice.

1 Kings 19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
12 and after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

This was a good passage for me to read today. Like Elijah, I find myself sometimes thinking I am alone. That is never true. YAH has his people, and they are ready. and willing to do as He asks.

Father, I ask that the lame may walk upright and again learn to run. I pray for shalom for K and R and my children YAH. I love You. Send in the provision that You alone have shown me. Allow those that tried to now see the mighty hand of Your deliverance and let that be so. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Singing Comfort

I sing to YAH the things of my heart and He sings back to me. I sing of deliverance and I sing His praise. May His praise be upon my lips while I still have breath and I love Him. We can be comforted by knowing that YAH is our King and responds to our praise. And we can be comforted knowing that He is singing over us.

Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

We sing Your praises YAH. I sing Your praises and sing over all things. You are King.

Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions YAH, and I will be forgiven. Keep me from temptations YAH. Deliver me from the evil here and the evil plans men have for me. I love You. I love You. You are my King, O King of All. And I love You. Keep me in Your ways. I love You. Let the whirlwinds flow. Let the silver coin bring me to gold and the cash pallets. Let the people be healed and call upon Your name, O my King. Let me receive praise and fame where I have been shamed, and let the people see that You alone have done this. You are King. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Happiness And Peace

When I consider comfort, what comes to mind for me are happiness and peace. I feel comforted when I have happiness and peace on my side. And I know what it is like for someone to talk to me about comfort when I am not “feeling it” so if that is you, I get it. But just take a moment right now. If you have to talk out loud to drown out the chatter in your head, do that, just make it positive or mumbo jumbo, just not negative. Then stop and imagine happiness and peace. It might take some practice, but it will work for you. We are able to self-generate our happiness and peace because that is what YAH has done for us to help us. And once we get it for ourselves, we can do it for others as well. In fact, we are instructed to do just that.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

New Life, New Living

If we are wise, or better yet, if I am wise, I will learn from not only the past but from this moment. YAH is with me always. He wants to bring to life my life. He wants to make my life a better life. He wants to assist me in making that happen. But YAH will not force a good life on me. I can continue to choose poorly. But if I choose wisely, I get a better life.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 that thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I love You. Let me be a beacon and a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are King. I love You. I love You. I love You.
