Seeking Truth, Seeking YAH

Truth in may ways is a great weapon. It is not listed as a spiritual weapon like speaking. Truth is more like a silent secret weapon. It allows the holder to move about undetected as a person of absolute knowledge. This is the first day of a group of “left over” days that some about at the end of the calendar year. So it may be unclear what these days are here for or why we need them. What is clear is that Yah has patterns for a reason. And the truth is with us if we allow it to be with us. YAH is King.

Zechariah 9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
13 when I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

Under The Sun

Be of good cheer, my brothers and sisters. This morning as I. think all that is happening in the world, I realize that there may be some, or many, that are concerned for the fate of the world. At the same time I think that there is a standard to which we march that may be set by others. There may be people that prefer to have us believe that the world is really headed to the brink. But I am reminded this morning that we are called to a different calling. We are called to assist one another, to come to the aid of each other, and to cause each other to get to a better place. We must defend our hearts and minds at all times for with these we live life.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Fight for you mind today. You can win!

Keep It Going

When times get hard, or good, or just changing, it is important for us as believers to just keep moving. We have to keep ourselves going to make it to the end. If we do this, we accomplish the goal that we have set before ourselves. And we have the opportunity to help others keep going as well. You can make it. Just take that next step! Then the next. Focus on the moment!

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Marching On

We can make our way to the top of the mountain if we are willing to keep climbing and rest in YAH as needed. It is possible to be engulfed in His love along the way. It happens for me often that I find myself surrounded by His love. It is a good thing to be surrounded by YAH’s love I suggest.

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

I am comforted that YAH has a plan for me life.

Remembering Old Friends

Today I think about a friend of mine that recently went onto be with YAH. We were the same age. Hopefully she was happy at the end. Thinking of the end of life has its plusses and minuses as ponder it. It can get us to consider getting life on track. Or it can make us feel down. But we get to choose either one. today I am choosing to be positively motivated. I know my friend would want me to be like that. I want to spend more energy on knowing YAH. That is a good Sabbath for sure.

Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Clawing For Truth

It is so easy for me when times are “good” to stop “clawing for the truth.” What I mean is in the past when I have been really up against a major challenge, I struggled. That struggle was not insignificant. And yet it was in a spiritual sense. There is something about me that recoils at challenges and “feels good” when good things happen. That may be okay, but at this point I am uncertain if it is okay or not. This is actually worthy of researching. It seems to align with how David wrote his life’s experiences. It also aligns with the plan YAH had for the people to acquire their inheritance.

Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Help me to remember the tools and the actions to continue to press in even in the good times O YAH. I love You. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Praising YAH

Today I am praising YAH for His great work toward me and mankind. If I seek His face and praise His name and call out to Him, He is there for me. I trust that He will care for me at all times. It is possible for me to be more like Him today than I was yesterday. If I can just keep that up, I can transition to becoming more like Him altogether.

Psalm 57:7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed:
I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp:
I myself will awake early.
9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
I will sing unto thee among the nations.
10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
And thy truth unto the clouds.
11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
Let thy glory be above all the earth.

Crying Out To YAH To Win

Is it possible for a believer to struggle with a sin that they cannot escape from? That is truly a great question. At some point, it may actually become an addiction. Humans on their own have no power over addictions. On the other hand, there is a power that can beat those addictions. That is the power of YAH. We have the ability to overcome the wickedness of darkness. It comes when, in that moment, we lift our hands in praise to YAH and was for his help. He comes and sets us free.

Psalm 63:1 O God, thou art
My God; early will I seek thee:
My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee
In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory,
So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness
Is better than life,
My lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Today We Build

Often I have both thought and written concerning the need for me and for all believers to build others up. Of course we are to build ourselves up as well. That can include many things. For sure one thing it includes is focusing on what is in front of us today. We have been taught this by our Messiah for many years.

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Keep The Kingdom

What can I do to keep the kingdom? What does that even mean. For me, first it means to protect or guard the kingdom. At the same time, I realize that the kingdom has a King that does not really need my assistance to guard the kingdom. However, He does allow me to be a part of that process by keeping the kingdom in my heart. That is my ultimate goal. Change my heart to always be seeking YAH. Tis is something that David new well.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God;
And renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence;
And take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
And uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways;
And sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:
And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips;
And my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:
Thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Today, I pray for a heart toward YAH.

Great wealth comes to me, and I feed and shelter many, O my King. Thank You. Please teach my mouth to sing well, and give my hands cunning on musical instruments O my King.
