Free To Choose

As believers we are free to choose the path we will seek for our lives. That freedom to choose does actually have limited, at least potentially. At least some of those limits are created by what we think is “real” in this world. Can we escape these “ideas” about what is real? That is a great question. If we can consider them, then perhaps they can be escaped. This is important because we read scripture and apply meaning from what we think we know. The driving factor has to be our relationship with YAH. Without that we truly do not have anything solid.

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Cæsarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Powerful Comfort

My Father is very powerful. In fact He has the ultimate power in this earth and universe and any verse. He is King. The farther my country gets from a king authority the less they understand what it means to have a King. But an all powerful King can easily afford to be one that provides comfort to His people. In fact, He can afford to have us call Him King and call Him Friend. My Friend is King!

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Patterns Of Change

Hello everyone! You may not be aware, but we are actually created from a pattern. It is embedded from within us. We are creatures of earth and heaven. Formed from the earth, and then YAH breathed into us. All the patterns that YAH ever created are then embedded within us. To the degree we align ourselves with those patterns we will be very much in tune with YAH. Today on the Sabbath this is worth of consideration I suggest.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Fighting To The End

It is good when some good news comes about a battle that has been raging. But the news is not the time to stop the battle. If anything it is time to push steady and harder. We are definitely meant to win. To win, one must finish. Run to the end.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

We can make and we are the winners. We just stay the course.

Morning Of Clearing

What an amazing morning this is so far. When I woke up I felt refreshed and like I had really good sleep. It was a great feeling. I feel very blessed by YAH this morning as It seems like I am seeing more clearly than ever. I am not completely clear as to why that is, just that there is something very special about today. Definitely looking forward to moving forward in my life and creating a great space for me, my family, and my friends. What is needed from me is continued determination to improve and a form to follow. There is great thankfulness within me for these things.

Climbing Out

In aviation there is something that was referred to when I was younger as a death spiral, probably as a term coming from the film industry. It was when the old WW2 planes would get shot and start to nose dive, spinning on the way down to the ultimate crash. We called this the death spiral, although that may or may not have been what it was called in real life. In real life, however, I have been a person and seen others that get into this sort of “death spiral” as they cooperate with the negativity that pulls them down. As believers, we have a different way out through spiritual warfare. Our enemy is trying to convince us that we are destined for bad things, but that is not the message that YAH has always given. He is with us if we will believe in Him. This was the message to Joshua, and it is ht message to us all.

Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Stepping Along Side

Looking at that title I am not sure if I actually spelled that correctly. The idea is that we are meant to be a people that come together with others that may need our help. When we do this we can make a difference for everyone. Today I am thinking we have an arrival mentality in our society. To a certain degree that is okay, but we also need a journey mentality. Maybe we need to be able to switch back and forth between these two somehow. There is something about this approach to becoming who we are that I am only just understanding at quite a later stage in life. I find this to be very interesting indeed.

Deuteronomy 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

Made For A Purpose

Here in the United States often children are taught to seek to be rich. It is as if financial accumulation defines who we are. In part that may have some limited truth. However, we are more defined by who we are friends with, and one in particular.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

We were made to bring forth fruit. What kind of fruit? Things we ask of the Father. So today, think about what to ask of the Father that would last forever, and ask.

Deliverance Is Sweet

This morning as I was sitting seeking YAH on my porch, I realized that for most of my adult life, perhaps all of my adult life, I have not known the feeling of freedom. And in some ways I am more free than most people as I do not have a 9-5 job that I must attend to everyday. There is a certain freedom one must attain in the mind. If we can get there, or perhaps to the degree we get there, we can be free. So what shall we say about this? It is worth taking time to pray and just “be” with YAH to determine what He may have for us by the way of freedom and a life that experiences it.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

They all are in confusion and fear and distaste of pursuit. Lady has her thoughts confounded and her speech is like babel. O King You are King. Show me the work that You have for me. I love You. Sabbath As A Reference Point

Thoday my thinking is that one of the purposes of the Sabbath is to provide for us a point of reference. It allows u to know “were we are” in reference to what day it is. Interestingly enough, there is so much that comes with a calendar. There can be much baggage. For example, by having B.C. and A.D., we give credence to a break in time. However, what if that is not really the case. What if this is a continual story and there are multiple points of freedom in it? Worth pondering I suggest. There are clues about this in various places.

Revelations 18:23 and the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Here the word sorceries is the word pharmekia which means drugs. It is where we get our word for pharmacy or pharmaceuticals.

We live in interesting times for sure…
