Yom Shabbat, Tevet 24, 6005 – January 9, 2021
Resting And Hope
We all have a sense of our existence. By that I mean we each have a path we are on, even if the direction may seem obscure at times. If we can step back and look at our lives like an outsider, we can “see” what we are doing. YAH has a plan for each of us, and is always there to help us with our travels. He is our king and never fails to lift us up. We want to be close to Him. Part of that closeness requires us to be where He is doing what He is doing. Our Messiah spoke about this.
Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
It is my belief that He was in the temple on the Sabbath. Many believe this. He was resting on the Sabbath. Perhaps a more interesting question for those of us that are parents is where was He for at least the three days that is recorded that they searched? At twelve, that would be an accomplishment today.
Let me make this point. YAH, our Father, has a plan and purpose for us. He clearly means for us to rest with Him and be learning on the Sabbath. The more time we spend with Him, the better we will understand His plan for our lives.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Send in quickly the overflowing financial provision that we might overflow to those around us. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Shishi, Tevet 23, 6005 – January 8, 2021
Watching The Son Rise
Yes, this is an obvious play on words as I sit hear looking out the patio doors to the east at dawn. YAH has declared the end from the beginning, and that is an amazing comfort in times of trouble.
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
We know that the Son of God, Yeshuah (Jesus) will return and deliver His people, and the whole earth.
Only believe.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! YAH is KING! YAH is KING! Let Your kingdom come here, and Your will be done here, as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming abundance. Let us overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask that You hear us, O King, Hear our praise and hear our cries. Send in quickly the financial substance that You have revealed. Help us to be Your vessels, Your ambassadors of the kingdom. We love You. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Chamishi, Tevet 22, 6005 – January 7, 2021
But One King
Today waking up after a rather unusual day here in the United States yesterday, I have taken time to pray and to contemplate the world. When I do this, my conclusion has always been the same. I am thankful that there is but One King, and His name is Yahuah. For us believers, there is a single point of certainty, and that is it. If I allow myself to remain in the uncertainty and seek Him, He shows me the certain things that I need to seek out. It takes me trusting that He is a Father that gives good gifts if I am willing to be meek, and thankful.
Psalms 44:4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
5 Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
7 But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your reign be here on the earth as it is in heaven. Give us now Your overflowing provision, that we might also give to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the financial blessings and restore Father King. Restore. Deliver us from the evil here and the evil that men do. Keep us from temptations. This is Your kingdom and power and glory, Father YAH. Rise up my King, and set forth Your judgement that we might live in peace to serve You, O King. We love You. We ask all these things, and declare them Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom R’vi’i, Tevet 21, 6005 – January 6, 2021
The Fight For The World
As believers we believe we are engaged in spiritual warfare. We predominately get that opinion from scriptures that indicate this is so. Many of us have also had personal experiences with the meta-physical that would lead us to conclude that there is opposition to truth and justice. These instances show up in many ways, and may even not be easily seen. So then we must choose our individual paths. What will we do? Better yet, each person asks, what will I do? I suggest we follow the example of Daniel.
Daniel 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4 And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
14 Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
Time to pray with everything within us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. O YAH, hear our cries. We need You to stand, O King, and bring righteousness to the land. We need You. Send in quickly Your angels to dispatch the evil. Set us free to follow You. Send in quickly the financial prosperity. Send in quickly the power to heal. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMasiach. Amen.
Yom Shlishi, Tevet 20, 6005 – January 5, 2021
Looking Out For Each Other
We have many choices in our life. These choices in part create the life we live. They are used to help us get down the road of life. But getting down the road of life is not all we are here to do. We are also here to help each other. We need to take the time necessary to make life work for our brothers and sisters in the Messiah. We have that as a goal in our life as well, given to us by our Father.
Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the financial prosperity, gold, silver and precious stones, and the land and dwellings that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Sheni, Tevet 19, 6005 – January 4, 2021
Voice Of YAH
If there was one gift I could give every human being, it is the ability to hear the voice of YAH clearly. We know that He is there, if we are believers. Because we know this, we can be assured that there is a time in our lives when hearing Him is important. That time is always “now” and as such, He is a God of “now”. If we ask, He hears and gives us what we ask.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Keep us from temptations to stray. Send in quickly the financial flood of prosperity that we might be able to help those in need. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Rishon, Tevet 18, 6005 – January 3, 2021
What Does Comfort Mean
Some think of warm bread, chocolate cake, or hot coffee at the mention of the word comfort. Just considering that point we realize that comfort means different things to different people. For me, for you, and for others, there is something that reminds us of comfort. I like to think of the moments when I faced some challenge in life and I reached out to YAH. In the moments that followed He made His presence known in an even more powerful way to me. For me, those are moments of comfort. These other things matter as well, but that certain closeness is very beneficial to me. And, it is a gift.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Shabbat, Tevet 17, 6005 – January 2, 2021
Structured Rest
It is interesting to see that there is a certain structure to rest. We see this in the way YAH first expressed the Sabbath. It had reason and purpose.
Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Send in quickly the overwhelming abundance of financial blessing. We ask all these things of You Father King. And we ask that you confound the works of our enemies. We ask all this in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Shishi, Tevet 16, 6005 – January 1, 2021
Beginning?
For may, this day is a chance for a beginning anew. Actually every day contains such a chance. But the new beginning is a reference to the idea of this date beginning a new year. Perhaps there is another view. What if we hold to the calendar presented to us in scripture? How do we respond? In such a case we may decide to follow the calendar referenced in scripture. When we do we see time from such a perspective. Observation matters. It is worth considering.
Genesis 1:1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
We ask all this in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
Yom Chamishi, Tevet 15, 6005 – December 31, 2020
YAH Has His Own Calendar
There is good reason to belive that YAH knows what He is doing. He created all this, right? I am just so thank ful that even when I cannot get things straight in my head, YAH has it all going on. Clarity of mind always brings me to Him.
Psalms 3:4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision.
