Yom Sheni, Nissan 17, 6004 – March 25, 2019
Joyful Endurance
There is a great scripture that describes the process by which we end up with the results for which we have prayed.
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
The faith here is the belief in our minds about something, a conviction of the validity of something, such as a request in prayer. When we have something that comes against that – a thought, someone speaking, a current situation – our faith is being tried. This trying is considered to be like the perfecting of gold where the hot gold “boils off” the dross of imperfections to become pure.
Patience here is specifically the ability to hold on and still have a certain happiness, a joy. Faith is a knowing, a knowledge. Patience engages the heart and we decide to have and to retain our joy. When these two are tied together, that releases the power of YAH from heaven. One great way to tie these two together is through singing praise songs to YAH about Him, His name, His power, His mercy, etc. It is this focus on the reality of YAH coming to the rescue with a solution that helps to power that solution’s manifestation.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH, for You are my King. Praise the name YAH, for You are my King! Let Your kingdom reign, YAH, here in this earth, and let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Restore Your people, and raise them from the dust. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people and the more besides, the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.
