Energy For Change
From scripture it seems that there is a certain amount of energy behind every change.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Here is an example of the effectual fervent prayers of Elijah. In the Greek the word for “effectual fervent” is energeo which means power to bring an actual effect or result. In this case, prayer brought drought and another prayer brought rain. Also notice, Elijah had all the same “passions” meaning the sames emotions as us, the same feeling as us. But when necessary, he was able to focus and pray with enough energy to get a result.
If we want real change in our lives and the lives of others, it will take energy. We will need to understand all we can about energy, what it is, and how it operates. With that understanding, and all our frailties, we must pray. Then we will see the changes we seek.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Yes, You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your King dom come here in men, Your will here in this earth, and the results will pour forth here, just as in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You, and of all You do. Restore Your people Father, unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that the enemy has taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You, Father. Send in quickly the $423,483,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in this earth. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen and Amen. Amen and Amen. Amen.
