Doing Good

If we are interested in the topic of spiritual warfare, we can become more involved in many ways that are somewhat simple. We can choose to do good. It is what Peter said about our Messiah.

Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

We see a couple things here. First, Yeshuah (Jesus) healed all that were oppressed of the devil, because God was with Him. It would appear that any affliction that needs healing is something from the devil. Secondly, He was doing good as perceived by the nation of Israel to whom He was sent to preach peace. How would He have done that, and what would the nation of Israel consider as Him “doing good”? Paul gives us insight here.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

So preaching comes from someone publishing peace/preach peace. Paul was quoting Nahum.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

So first we see that the keeping of the feasts publishes/preaches peace, but peace with who? Answer: God. Peace with God destroys the enemy in our midst, as in healing all those that are oppressed of the devil because God was with Him. And what would the Jews have considered doing good, aside from healing?

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And then the rest of it…

Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

So we see that doing good certainly can be spiritual warfare.

Let’s do good today!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. We lift the name Yahuah on high, on high. You alone are our King. There is none beside You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people, and may Your will be performed perfectly around us as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Deliver us from tht evil here. Yes, deliver us from that evil here. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Restore Your people, Father. Restore them unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We call out to You, Father YAH, because this is Your kingdom, and Your power, and it is for Your glory forever. We ask all these things of You, Father. We ask all these things, O King, in the name YAH Yeshauh HaMoshiach. Amen, Amen, and Amen.
