Walking The Talk

Over time I have heard many believers describe challenging situations at work, at home, or with friends and family. As a human, I can empathize with these various situations for what I know of them (as we all know, there are always two sides to everything). On the other hand, as a believer, I am left with a bit of a dilemma. We are given the ministry and the authority to change things for the good.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

So this is our ministry. And we have been given the power and authority to carry it out. So herein is the challenge. We must move forward with doing the right thing. We must move forward with saying the right things. When we say then, and cry out to our Father, we can do them.

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

We see that our words need to be good, and that our words and our works will align. Today, it might be a good thing to focus on saying the good things, and then seeking help from our Father to perform these good things.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in the heaven, so perfectly. Send us the provision that overflows to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here, both around us and in us. Restore Your people, Father. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that good that has been taken or held back from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,503,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.
