Looking Through The Leaves
When we look up toward heaven, looking for God, from the midst of the forest, we look up through the leaves and can see the sky blue domain of our Father. We can be in such a hurry to seek God for our issues that we do not take the time to observe the beauty and evidence of His presence – creation itself. Stopping to look at and consider a leaf can do a lot for our faith. Leaves are so different between the different trees. And even on the same tree, we find unique creations in each leaf. Now think about the number of leaves on one of those trees. That seems like a lot of attention to detail. But then think of the number of trees in your forest, then the number of forests in your town, state, country… the world. And that is just the attention to the trees! Our Father cares so much more for us.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
If we become discouraged, all we need do is look up to heaven and consider the leaves.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here that would keep us from You. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore Your people that they might love You and one another. Restore unto Your people all that has been eaten. Restore one thousandfold to Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that wee might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts of mankind. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah YAH Yeshuah (Lord Jesus Christ). Amen.
