Meditations Of The Heart
Today, as I was praying about what to write, a scripture came to me. It is the last verse of Psalms 19. I have included the entire psalm here.
Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, line: or, rule, or, direction
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
What is interesting here is that there is much said about what individual things God has established, and their purposes. In the past, I would have pretty much “run” past the things stated in these verses. But today, as I read these, I think about what we know. From the Lord’s Prayer, we know that the heaven is where our Father’s will is done, and we want the same here. We know from science that there are three areas of concentration of the nerves in the brain, the stomach, and the heart. We know from other scriptures that our Father created the heavens as a testimony to Him. WE know the moon watches over the “moedym” or high holy days. The list goes on.
Today, just when I needed to see that our Father is well capable of making complex situations work out, I find this hidden treasure in the scripture. May God be glorified today in the meditations of our hearts.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Restore unto Yoru people their position in You, Father, with thoughts and memories of only You and the good You have done for us. Deliver us from evil. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might promote Your kingdom here in the hearts and minds of mankind. We need You and Your power in our lives. I pray for wisdom and understanding. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
