Simply Thanks

This morning as I sat thinking about what to be thankful for today, I was overwhelmed as I tried to focus on any one thing. Probably for many of us, if we were to try to narrow our focus to just one thing to thank our Father for today, it would take some work. Thinking about what writers in scripture have said, I was able to see why there are times when they simply say, thank you.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

It is good to ponder the topic of thankfulness. It helps us to come full circle back to the one that has set us apart from others, our Father. Let us all be thankful today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be in this earth as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away completely any and all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You, YAH. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, Father, and the more besides. We need You. Help us quickly, today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.
