Help Is On The Way
One of the challenges that we as believers can face has to do with time. Or perhaps it is timing. We call out to our Father for His help in something, and we can become concerned if we do not see it manifested immediately. However, scripture shows us that help comes when we call out.
Daniel 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
We see here that Daniel cried out to our Father for 21 days, but the angel was dispatched at the very first. This is in keeping with what happened with our Messiah as well.
Mark 11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Here we see that Jesus cursed the tree and it took a day to take effect. Notice He said it was the result of His prayers. When we pray, we can receive the faith, the belief, that God is helping us and that what we say will come to pass. It was so in this passage. In both cases, the one praying was or had been fasting. They sought forgiveness for the others around them. Jesus clearly had an attitude of forgiveness toward us all when He was on the cross.
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
So we see, if we will listen and pray, and believe that our Father hears us, help is on the way.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Bless Yahuah! Let Your will be done here among us. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions and our trespasses, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed and trespassed against us. Cleanse and heal our hearts and minds, renew our life, repair our souls, that all men might know, You alone are God. Restore unto Your people prosperity of substance and wholeness greater than all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Bless the work of our hands today that we might advance Your kingdom. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
