Dreams And Visions

Our Father desires to speak with and to us. Often He communicates in dreams and visions.

Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

When this happens, we have something to base our prayers on with the Father. These dreams and visions are a revelation to us of His will.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Our Messiah spoke to us regarding how we should address asking things of our Father.

Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Yeshuah (Jesus) did place one stipulation on receiving from God what we ask when we ask in the next verses.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

We are called to be images and likenesses of our Father. More than anything, He is love. He dies for us that we might live; He died for our sins that we might have life. He did this because He is a God of mercy.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Today, let us cry out to the Father, the One that is love, who gives mercy, in forgiveness for ourselves and others.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! You alone are worthy of all praise and honor. You are our God, a God of love, forgiveness, and mercy. Let Your will be done here among us. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses, and help us to forgive all those that have trespassed against us. Help us to be merciful and full of compassion and love, just as You are. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil and the conspiracies against us, against Your will, and against Your ways. Strike down all that comes against Your people. Rise up, O King, and destroy these works, beginning today. Release Your ministering spirits to war for Your ways against the evil conspiracies. Show Yourself strong, not for us, but for Your words and will in this earth. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
