Keep On Moving
This morning as I thought about how important it is for us to keep moving forward every day, I realized one of the reasons why that is so true. There is a series of events that occur that compel us to move forward. It is the cycle of darkness and light. It is the changes in the growing of things around us. It is a pattern that we have become so accustomed to seeing that we may not even notice anymore. That is the interesting thing about patterns. The more developed they are, the more routine they are, the more they become a part of the “envelope” that surrounds us. We take it for granted, in short. What are we to learn from these patterns?
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
This pattern is about the lights created and what they mean. This is not separating the light from the darkness. It is like a signal that says we are on some repetitive streaming process. We can make this an opportunity to move to the next thing we should be doing, or not. And it is not always as easy as it sounds.
A final point. We are not stuck. We are in fact moving forward.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be Your kingdom promoters in the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Please come quickly and help us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
