Preparing The Fields
We have a mission in life. That mission is to serve the living God and keep His ways. We are His children. We need to follow after Him. We need to be His people with our whole hearts. This is a challenge because we live here in this world where not everything goes as we would like it to go. We are faced with choices pretty much all the time. Yes, these choices are choices about actions in the physical, and most likely we do okay there for the most part. But these choices are also deeper than that because they also are choices for the mind and heart. Our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) spoke about this.
Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
John, in one of his letters repeats this idea. He speaks of hatred being the same as murder.
1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
So what does this mean for us then? In part, I suggest it means that we need to spend time in self examination to see how we line up with what the book of instructions says to do. We are to cry out to our Father for help in becoming better examples of who He wants us to be. We need to ask Yahuah (Lord) to help us by creating clean hearts in us. He will do for all His people what He did for David. We need only to ask and be diligent to work on our thinking and speaking. He will help us make it because He is a loving Father and He loves us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. You alone have delivered us from death. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom be with us. Send us now, this very day, Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds Father. Help us to be complete and set apart unto you. Deliver us from the evil that has stolen and is stealing from Your people Father. Help us to love one another and lift each other up. We need Your love towards our brothers and sisters in the faith. Help us to have that love. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
